Well it is Semi Finals time in this tournament and boy do we have a big matchup here as two of the big heavyweights in ASB have been matched up against each other, much to the delight of one of our competitors. In one corner, we have Elevator Music, who got here after beating yours truly over some crazy pedantry but I digress. Pay special attention to Gengar as it has the only Super Effective STAB on the opponent's team because aggron will totally mega evolve and things simply put, the matchup control and whatnot will play a critical part for Elevator Music. In the other corner we have Frosty who spent most of the last 24 hours bitching and whining about fighting Elevator Music but I do not know why because he has a pretty good matchup to be honest. He got here after having a comfortable win over Canis Majoris. Pay special attention to Skill Frog because it has a good matchup against what Elevator Music brought and well, it is Skill Frog. As long as Frosty does not toggle Protean, it will pretty much give his opponent issues at least until em figures out how to use skill swap. Anyhow enough talk, let us get to the action shall we?

Also both users brought their legends to this match. Good sports the both of you.

BATTLE RULES
3v3 Singles
Enforced 2 Day DQ Time for players, 3 for referees.
Each player has one DQ warning a match. Go over once, you will use your warning. Go over twice, you will be DQed. This will be at the discretion of the player or one of the hosts if the player takes too long. Referees going over DQ will probably be sacked and replaced.
Infinite Recoveries/Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
One Mega Evolution
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON; you do not have to have the item in possession but the item must not be banned, similar to SICK (Banned Items: Soul Dew, Dark Stone, Light Stone, Diancite, Prison Bottle).
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
If there are matches still going on come Saturday the 12th of September at Midnight (GMT +00:00), then the DQ Times of those matches will shorten to 1 Day Player, 1 Day Referee.

You people overestimate me too much, considering I never won neither a tourney nor a legend. Kinda hard to make a splash that way.

Because all I can notice is that I have no reliable way to defeat Manaphy or Metagross and that Manaphy will get out of here (for what I assume is gengar, although Metagross is also a possibility) faster than you can say "molehill". To kick off the match, both players send out their legends and duke it out and with some smart play, Elevator Music manages to neuter a lot of damage to the Manaphy from the Deoxys by calling forth the rain before preparing to switch out and dealing some damage with a tidal wave. The Deoxys responds by using solar energy and bolts of lightning to attack and indeed wins the damage race this round thanks to its tremendous bulk and whatnot. Then the Manaphy switches out for one of Elevator Music's possible mega evolutions to come out. What will it be? We will see soon enough.

Well I have no idea what Frosty meant by "An opportunity to get rid of a Mega Gengar" because quite frankly, there was none. But on the flip side, the Deoxys does marvelously in a damage race against a Gengar as the two traded blows and rapidly weakening each-other before the Deoxys unleashed an almighty physical attack... which deals less damage than a weakened Psycho Boost of all things. At least the Gengar is now revenge kill bait for Frosty's Skill Frog... in a couple of rounds time.

Holy crap a Pokémon that does not get utterly screwed ordering first against a Skill Frog! Anyhow, the Manaphy and the Skill Frog simply trade blows in a damage race that the Manaphy pretty much wins handily with the assistance of the rain and a random critical hit. On the other hand the Manaphy is in a critical range, but the Greninja must order first against the Manaphy now... unless Frosty wants to bring out his Aggron now that the rain is gone, but who knows what will happen?

Pretty simple round, really, Elevator Music's Manaphy uses Endure and then weak attacks to stall out the round while Frosty's Greninja taunts it and starts digging. I am 95% certain that what EM is going to do next is what I think he is going to do next. Really, it is that predictable.

Elevator Music decides to send out his last Pokémon—his Metagross—and gets ready for the Dig attack with a tremor! After being hit by the dig, the Metagross then whacks the Skill Frog with a cold punch... only for the Skill Frog to block it. Finally the Metagross whacks the Skill Frog again to leave it in critical range as the Skill Frog switches out through an attack, taking minor recoil damage from the Metagross' helmet in the process. Frosty will have to play this Aggron right to be able to win this and minimising his losses from ordering first should be a really good start!
