The two Pokémon are doing different things before the battle starts. Cain waits calmly, his eyes on the ticking timer, while Ezlo stares straight ahead, its head twitching every few seconds. And there's the bell! Frosty's Pokémon begins the battle by scanning Cain for weaknesses, but its opponent is transforming in front of its eyes. Vanillish Wafer's Gardevoir is undergoing Mega Evolution! The two Pokémon stare each other down, then go straight for the offensive!

Cain's deep, imposing Hyper Voice attack knocks the Porygon-Z out of its place in the air, causing one of its arms to spin out of control. Suddenly, Ezlo bends its head to the side bizarrely. Its intent is revealed when it slams into Cain, the Silk Scarf around its neck glowing. Despite Porygon-Z's low Attack stat, that attack did some solid damage!

Vanillish Wafer's Mega Gardevoir focuses on Ezlo's Skull Bash attack and attempts to shoot a sealing ray at the Normal-type to lock the move, but Ezlo protects itself with a barrier.

The Psychic-type forgoes his status strategy to attack again with Hyper Voice; his opponent retaliates with a Tri Attack that almost matches the Gardevoir's incredible power. A very impressive display by both Trainers!

Right, right... Normally I'd ask the Trainers about this, but with names like "Vanillish Wafer" and "Frosty", I don't think they'll mind.​

The huge amounts of damage inflicted on both Pokémon is beginning to take its toll. Cain stays back and uses Future Sight, sending tons of psychic energy into the air. However, his computerized opponent shows no signs of slowing down, and slams into Cain again with another Skull Bash! The Gardevoir clutches his stomach in pain.

Frosty's Porygon-Z giving him an unnerving stare, Cain is a bit intimidated, but he refuses to back down. His roaring Hyper Voice is so powerful, it briefly decapitates Ezlo before its head floats back onto its body. Frosty orders a Tri Attack, and the Normal-type is only too happy to oblige. Elemental forces swirl around the valiant Gardevoir, but he doesn't succumb to them.

Cain shouts out with all his might, causing Ezlo's limbs to almost float completely away from each other. But even in the face of a Future Sight, the Virtual Pokémon holds on, and finally defeats its opponent with one more Skull Bash. Frosty is the winner!
