A team called SunShine

OLD GREGG (im back baby)

old gregg for life
The team called SunShine is one of the most versatile teams you can imagine.
The main objective with this team is to overpower the opponent with hard hitting attacks.
It is okay sacrifice a few turns to set-up and to sacrifice a few pokes as well.
Unlike some teams, this one does not have a definitive lead or play style.

Ninetales (F) @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Hypnosis
- Hex
- SolarBeam
- Fire Blast

Ninetails is one of three pokes that make up the core of this team. Ninetails may look nice and cute but it is deceptively powerful. Hypnosis is extremely useful when you choose to lead with Ninetails. Solarbeam and Fire Blast are the main attacks you will be abusing with this set. If you do lead with Ninetails and sense a switch out-good time for Hypnosis.
With sleep induced Ninetails can destroy the target with a 130 BP Ghost type, 110 BP STAB Fire type, or 120 BP Grass type attack. If you choose to allow the opponent to slumber Venomoth is the obvious switch in. If the opponent switches out the sleeping pokemon at the moment you switch in Venomoth you are almost guaranteed a quiver dance and maybe a baton pass too. Have to watch out for Skill Link abusers and priority users.

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 148 HP / 252 Atk / 108 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Acrobatics
- Roost
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind

TalonFlame is a possible lead. It can set-up tailwind or wreck fighting type leads with priority STAB BP 110 Acrobatics, without all that ugly recoil you get with Brave Bird. I Don't always lead with TalonFlame, but when I do expect a hard hitting attack or a quick set-up and switch out. This is a pokemon who doesn't require full speed Evs due mainly to its ability. It already has outstanding base speed and with 100 or so Ev's it gets the job done, allowing for investment in bulk.

Venusaur (F) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 100 SDef / 36 HP / 120 Def
Modest Nature
- Amnesia
- Growth
- Sludge Bomb
- Solar Beam

Venusaur is the star of this show.
Why hasn't Venusaurite been banned already?!
The Ev spread might look complicated but it is very simple.
Maximize power while giving the rest to bulk. Amnesia will allow you to wall special threats and eat ice beams for breakfast. Growth will allow you to even further this mighty pokemon's destructive force. The key to using this guy effectively, in my opinion, is to abuse Venusaur's hidden ability as much as possible before mega evolving. In the sun Venusaur out speeds everything. Factor in a quiver dance boost, and with the sun up Venusaur can amnesia and mega on the same turn allowing it to wall hard hitting special attacks and fire right back with a BP 120 STAB. Truly powerful, Mega Venusaur is just begging Smogon to ban it.

Noivern (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Frisk
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Switcheroo
- Draco Meteor
- Boomburst
- Flamethrower

Noivern is the lead option when you see a good OHKO opportunity or a chance to choice lock a poke into setting up.
Choice specs Noivern can easily out speed to OHKO a ton of threats, including Alakazam and Gengar. STAB Draco Meteor with Choice Specs takes a healthy chunk out of anything that doesn't resist. Noivern is one of the best hit and run pokemon GameFreak has ever created. Switcheroo is there for one reason, choice locking. It can make your opponent think twice about ever leading with Smeargle again.

Venomoth (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Wonder Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 140 HP / 116 SAtk
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Baton Pass
- Roost
- Sludge Bomb

Venomoth may be the weakest pokemon this team has to offer, but what it lacks in strength it will make up for with utility.
Focus Sash allows Venomoth to get at least one Quiver Dance off every time. When you have Venomoth in on a poke without priority or skill link it will almost always allow at least one quiver dance + baton pass. Wonder Skin is the ability of choice so Sableye will have to Will-O-Wisp or Confuse Ray repeatedly to afflict it with status. This is one poke that can make or break a team when used right.

Salamence (F) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Moxie
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Iron Tail

Salamence is a one poke army. It is the final addition to create an extremely potent core. Dragon Dance and Moxie with BST 600 is really enough said.
Lum Berry to cure confusion or status one time. This thing can wreck a whole team by itself, but when coupled with other serious threats it makes an excellent addition. If you lead with this thing and get one dragon dance off, the opponent could possibly spend the rest of the match trying to take it down. If you choose to save this thing for later, it can come in and hit hard for at least neutral damage on everything.

As I said before this team has an arsenal of hard hitting attacks to tear apart the enemy. If you take three or four turns to set up the result of having a Mega Venusar who can rip through anything is worth the sacrifice.
