Hello guys and welcome to my RMT. This is for NU since I have never done one for NU and this is a really fun team that I have enjoyed using on the ladder. It's also got some uncommon or under appreciated Pokemon on the team which I think makes it stand out a little bit more as well. Other than that I think I am ready to go with showcasing my team.

I wanted to build around Mushy since it is a reliable win condition and I have been using Slowking in RU a lot recently so it kind of felt the same.

I looked through team options on the analysis and saw that Mushy likes having grounded Poison-types the remove TSpikes since they severely hinder its capabilities to sweep. I decided to go a little creative and go with Arbok which is really cool.

I wanted a wall breaker and a pivot to Psychic-types. Magmortor does just that.

I wanted a Ground resist. I wanted a Rock resist. I wanted a Stealth Rocker.

Because I am paranoid of spikes and wanted something to deal with Normal, Flying, and Fire-types I added Kabutops.

I wanted another wall breaker and I was debating about choosing Tauros until I noticed that Kecleon fit my style more since I can abuse its type changing to screw with switches and stuff like that. It also deals with Psychics a bit easier.

Team in Depth

musharna.gif

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ras (Musharna) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Moonlight
- Signal Beam
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The center of attention for my team Musharna usually plays a crucial role through out the entirety of the game. Early to mid game I use it as a bulky pivot and scare stuff with Calm Mind or try to hit a Dark-type on the switch with Signal Beam. Late game I just try to win using it amazing natural bulk and Calm Mind boost. it usually requires me to remove Dark-type wallbreakers / sweepers before it can actually reign terror as well as all Toxic users to begone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
arbok.gif
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kobra (Arbok) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Coil
- Gunk Shot
- Seed Bomb
- Sucker Punch

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The co-host mainly choosen to be a secondary sweeper and TSpikes absorber for Musharna. Arbok has a really weird role in the metagame as in either do one of the two things. Break down the opposing team or sweep. Either way Arbok is still doing a hefty amount of damage especially after a Coil and with the accuracy boost it helps to make Gunk Shot more accurate. See Bomb is used over Earthquake in this slot just because my team struggles with Water-types a lot and this team is already bullying common Psychic-types. Sucker Punch gives priority either letting it pick off faster Pokemon like Pyroar and Archeops or dealing a hefty amount of damage before fainting. I usually try to set up on Physical attackers that don't have super effective coverage like Hitmonchan and pursue to hit as many things as possible.
magmortar.gif
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Volvalgia (Magmortar) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 64 HP / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Mild Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Earthquake
- Flame Charge

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As a pivot to special Fire-types, Wallbreaker, and special check Magmortor ends up filling up this slot. It helps to break down the enemy team for my sweepers. Fire Blast nukes almost everything and Thunderbolt hit Water-types not named Gastrodon and Lanturn. Earthquake gives nice coverage for hitting and weakening Lanturn while also hitting Pyroar. Flame Charge even helps Magmortor become a sweeper some times thanks to the speed boost and stupid power it has. Usally Flame Charge is used Magmortor is using its dying breath to take down as many Pokemon as possible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
torterra.gif

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Terra Mass Naturia (Torterra) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Atk / 128 Def
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Synthesis
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Torterra provides the team a nice pivot into stuff like Aggron and Rhydon. It is the teams main answer to Rock and Ground-types defensively as well as the teams Stealth Rocker. Synthesis is used for longevity in order to keep Torterra around long enough. Wood Hammer and EQ are high base power STABs meant to put a dent into something. Shell Armor can be used Overgrow since you really don't want to use Wood Hammer when you are about to die.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
kabutops.gif
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rezlive (Kabutops) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kabutops is my spinner and Normal-type check for the team. It also helps against Swellow to an extent and act as a revenge killer to. Stone Edge is a hard hitting STAB with good coverage and Waterfall backs up what it doesn't hit pretty well. Aqua Jet lets Kabutops revenge kill weakened Swellow, Archeops, and Pyroar. I feel Mystic Water or Stone Plate could be used over Life Orb since the recoil is a bit annoying but I don't like giving up power to one of my STABs. I run Swift Swim just in case there happens to be rain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
kecleon.gif

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bandicoot (Kecleon) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 192 Atk / 200 SpA / 116 Spe
Mild Nature
- Fire Blast
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Tail
- Knock Off
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was thinking about putting Tauros here for the longest time but I went with Kecleon in the end because it helps versus Psychic-types and fits my playstyle a lot better. Fire Blast lets it roast Pokemon like Garbodor and such while giving it a burn immunity, Sucker Punch helps to pick off faster Pokemon. Iron Tail lets Kecleon deal with Mega Audino better while also helping out defensively since Steel has many resistances. Knock Off is another Dark move that cripples the opponent while not requiring the opponent to attack. Kecleon is a really strange Pokemon but sometimes you need to play around with the type changing to let another Pokemon get a free switch in. Like Torterra usually comes in on stuff after Iron Tail has snatched a kill.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Threatlist
Malamar - I don'y have much to deal with it besides having a Calm Mind up already with Musharna or trying to break it down with Kecleon + Magmorotr.
Water-types - Water-types gives this team a lot of trouble as I lack a safe switch in.
Normal Spam - They can break through Torterra rather quickly and start threatening a majority of my team. One of the main reasons it is so stacked with priority.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well thank you guys for reading and I am really hoping for some feedback. Even if I don't get any this is still a really cool team I have been wanting to showcase but haven't gotten around to making an RMT about it yet. Have a good day.

Heya! Cool team you have there! But as you said, they are some things that looks pretty annoying, let's give a look at this!

Firstly i'd like to say the lack of water resist looks sooooo annoying regarding to how much are played the water type actually. Also, as you said Malamar looks pretty annoying as you only have Musharna to hit him super effectively. In addition, Kabutops as only normal check looks pretty poor especially the Life Orb variant as he can be wear down too easily. To patch the normal weakness and another things that can hit Malamar i'd suggest Rhydon over Torterra i aggree that Aggron can be problematic, but Aggron actually only come on Musharna and Arbok safely, if you fell like aggron can come in let's switch, well we'll see later to help with this.

Also, to patch the water weakness as you have a normal/flying check in Rhydon now, i'd suggest Shiftry > Kabutops as you said, you are reeeally water weak, Shiftry helps a lot the team with dealing with them in addition Shiftry can be useful as it gives you a stronger priority in Sucker Punch, while doing an amazing amount of damages to psychic dark and ghost to help Musharna to set up more easily. As you said you were affraid by the entry hazards, Shiftry looks like a cool choice as he can Defog on a lot of things due to his offensive pressure.

Now if you change Kabutops for Shiftry, the last change i'd suggest is running Earthquake over Seed Bomb on Arbok, mainly because you have Shiftry that can wear down these water type, but also pressure Aggron to come too easily and then reduce the number of safe switch for Aggron to 1, (Mush) that looks like a minor changes, but that can be pretty helpful for your team.

Rhydon > Torterra

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 240 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Megahorn
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Stealth Rock

Shiftry > Kabutops

Shiftry @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Leaf Storm
- Defog

Earthquake > Seed Bomb on Arbok

Hope i've helped, have a good day, best of luck with that team! :)

hi, dropping a quick rate to help you with your threatlist.

-Your team is very slow and relies on a priority moves from kabutops and kecleon, and while kecleons protean makes sucker punch pretty strong, Mild nature and mixed Evs doesnt help it pull off a revenge killer which can be crucial. Secondly, mixed rott/and floatzel are huge threats since you have no special water resist. Flying types like archeops are countered by musharna, but Scyther looks really annoying since it just 6-0es whole team because you cant revenge kill it after kabutops gets weakened.

musharna.png
Colbur Berry>leftovers , You listed malamar on your threat list, but I wouldnt really agree with it since this little change from leftovers to colbur gives you a hard check/counter to malamar, and even after +1 boost knock off still wont do enough damage to kill musharna, while you can just revenge kill it with signal beam.

tauros.png
You were right when you said tauros is a good fit to this team, its another normal type that can benefit from arbok weakening stuff and vice versa. It also gives you a speed control and good revenge killer which you lack.
Tauros (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Rock Climb
- Rock Slide
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake

This is only way to help you with water and scyther weakness on this team while not fearing of coverage moves , ferroseed can take any hit from water types and physically defensive sandslash is spinner that can chew any scyther hit and retaliate with stone edge.
Ferroseed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 148 Def / 112 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Bullet Seed

Sandslash @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Rapid Spin

gl in future!
