'Frosty and Akela shake hands, before walking to opposite sides of the arena. They knew that each other would be taking this battle seriously, and had respected each other to give a close fought battle.'
'Frosty decided to come prepared for a fight; with two Fighting Type Pokemon! Flare Dancer the Combusken and his Timburr (interestingly named after a Japanese Roggenrola, Dangoro) both pumped their muscles, whilst Manhandla the Lileep just.... well.... plopped onto the battlefield and waved its appendage around a bit.'
'Contrastingly, Akela decided to bring a more varied selection of Pokemon. Eiko Carrol the Gothorita moped around a little, whilst Trini the Meowth started licking itself. Only Bulk the Lairon seemed to be interested in battling, and after stomping around, brought everyone to their senses and ready for battle.'

'Trini leaps into action, springing off Bulk's head, and releases her Hidden Power at Flare Dancer, who grimaced at the mental shock. Eiko then releases a strange pulse, which causes everyone to feel much heavier all of a sudden. It seems that the Gravity has intensified! Flare Dancer Closes its eyes, and Shapes a ball of energy, and launches it towards Bulk. His Sturdy Armour doesn't seem to weaken the Focused Blast very much, and winces in pain. It seems that the strengthened gravity helped Flare Dancer to aim. Somehow. Dangoro decides to joke around, and summons a giant green Substitute doll, which he hides behind. Bulk isn't distracted though, as his tail shines silver, as he swings his Iron Tail at Manhandla, who doesn't like being man-handled in this way. While everyone else had been fighting, he had been absorbing Sunlight, which he launches as a Solar Beam at Trini. I hope he put suncream on before coming out today!'

'Manhandla starts absorbing more sunlight, and Bulk looks at him wairilly. Meanwhile, Trini launches into action again, this time launching a Gunk Shot at Flare Dancer. This doesn't seem to hurt him much, but Eiko decides to throw him up in the air with her Psychic powers (or was it her toy Moogle?). Unfortunately for Bulk, Flare Dancer landed on his back, and although it didn't hurt, the close range Focus Blast did. Bulk gets angry at this, and charges at Manhandla again, with his tail shining. but out of nowhere, Dangoro appears, and with a Low Kick, trips Bulk Up. With a large crash, Bulk falls to the ground - He's fainted! Manhandla seems pleased, and has plenty of time to chare another Solar Beam, which he launches at Trini again.'

'Akela's already at a disadvantage with Bulk being Knocked out, and It seemed as though the increased gravity helped Frosty's strategy more. Can Akela make a comeback?'

'The Round Begins with Trini drinking a Red Bull, which gives her Wings, allowing her to be an Aerial Ace. Flare Dancer doesn't like the showing off, and Trini shows her resentment by scratching her from the sky. Eiko thiinks this looks fun, and launches balls of Psychic energy at Flare Dancer, who barely has time to recover from the Psyshock before Frosty has him Give Trini a Sky Uppercut in retribution. Again, noone has noticed Dangoro, who jumps out from behind his doll, to Drain some energy from Trini with a Punch. Manhandla then tries to copy Eiko, but can only conjure up some natural Energy, which she throws as a Ball at Eiko.'

Dangoro decides enough is enough, and before anyone can do anything, he Mach Punches Trini,who's down for the count. Eiko decides to follow this up, with another Psychic Throw on Flare Dancer. After landing on Bulk again, Flare Dancer whites out: Looks like he's done for today. Manhandla bemusedly watching this unfold, uses some Ancient Power to throw some Rocks at Trini, who surprisingly doesn't seem to mind too much.
