Abomasnow @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Whatever
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Polish
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- Thunder Wave
- Healing Wish / U-turn
Abomasnow and Rhydon form a mean offensive core while Mesprit provides good backup and a strong Fighting-resist. Abomasnow can chunk most mons in the tier with its STABs alone and is also a good anti-weather mon in general, while it also resists Grass- and Water-type attacks for Rhydon, which actually gives it switch-in opportunities as people will rarely make risky plays when Rhydon could sweep them otherwise. Rhydon itself is extremely dangerous, can switch into Fire-, Poison-, and Flying-type attacks that threaten Abomasnow, while then being able to set up a sweep or continue wallbreaking. Mesprit provides hazard support, can paralyze foes so that Abomasnow or Rhydon can stomp them later, and use Healing Wish to give Abomasnow some HP back after all the recoil or to give Rhydon another chance at sweeping. It also prevents Sawk from completely ruining this core. Meanwhile, U-turn can be used to help Abomasnow in particular enter battle safely.

Reserving Shiftry - Piloswine - Musharna.

Swords Dance Shiftry is an extremely threatening sweeper thanks to its respectable base 100 Attack, access to STAB Knock Off and STAB Sucker Punch to circumvent its below average speed, and a solid STAB combinaton in general that's only resisted by 4 Pokemon in the entire NU Meta. Piloswine is an excellent partner to Shiftry, as it can check dangerous Flying type Pokemon such as Archeops, Scyther, Swellow, and Vivillon for Shiftry. Piloswine also sts up Stealth Rock, which allows Shiftry to rack up on or two more KO's on the opponent. Finally, Musharna is an amazing pivot that does multiple things for the core. First, Musharna checks common Fighting types for the core, although it must be very wary of Knock Off. Secondly, Musharna can get Shiftry in safely with a slow Baton Pass, allowing it to get a free Swords Dance off. Finally, it can make use of Healing Wish if Shiftry gets statused & worn down by Life Orb recoil.

Grumpig (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 160 SpA / 96 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Focus Blast
- Psychic
- Signal Beam
- Power Gem

Steelix @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 132 Atk / 128 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Vileplume @ Black Sludge
Ability: Effect Spore
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Moonlight
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]

A pretty fun core I used on a semi stall team that covers a lot of offensive threats between the 3 of them. Grumpig handles strong wallbreakers like Magmortar, Aurorus, and mixed Sceptile easily enough. Standard Steelix is a pretty reliable check to things like Scyther and Tauros and also gives me hazards. Vileplume is a Pokemon I typically don't like that much but it does well enough as main fighting check on this team. Add a check to water types and you're good to go.

Malamar @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 144 SpD / 112 Spe
Careful Nature
- Substitute
- Psycho Cut
- Knock Off
- Superpower

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Megahorn

Sceptile @ Life Orb
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Giga Drain
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Rock Slide

This is a pretty cool core around Sub 3 Attacks Malamar that aims to wear down and eliminate the opponents checks with Sceptile and Rhydon. Sceptile and Malamar in particular work nicely together, breaking down things like Weezing and Garbodor, whilst also being able to overwhelm Mega-Audino. Rhydon provides rocks, gives the core a normal and fire resist, whilst also checking the biggest threat to Malamar/Sceptile in scyther.

So with voting done, that's a W for Rapture. Congratulations! This week is going to be different, but have no fear! We're going to be doing
spam in this round, so let me tell you how it works. Cores still need 3 Pokemon, but only 2 have to be of the assigned typing. Feel free to use the last slot to round out your spam core however you see fit. Deadline for submissions is going to be Friday, the 4th. I'll see you there!

Pyroar (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Hyper Voice
- Dark Pulse

Charizard @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Hidden Power [Grass]

Hitmonchan (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Rapid Spin
- Thunder Punch

Probably the simplest. Break shit with the fire types, spin with Chan to keep pressure off your fire types. I prefer LO Zard for the versatility and specs Pyroar for its power. Dark Pulse is neat because fuck Grumpig especially if it has Colbur since Unnerve stops that from working. Thunder punch on Chan to hit Mantine/Pelipper. With the two strongest fire types in the tier as your offensive core you'll find there isn't much that can withstand you so the opponent has to resort to revenge killing, but thats why you have the rest of your team to switch in to.

Now if y'all thought this was gonna be all professional, then you were wrong. You see, this is the only way to pressure your opponent into thinking that SURELY he is a sentimental human being that doesnt bring triple specs. But when he sees the damage output, its already too late. Rocks aren't a problem, all you need to do is to stay in and spam FireBlast or Flamethrower if you don't want to miss.

EVs: 196 HP / 252 SpD / 60 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Ancient Power
- Earth Power
- Recover

Other Options
Cradily is meant to outcreep 0 Speed Hariyama. Scarf Primeape/Scarf Jynx hit 475 Speed. At +4, you need 228 Speed EV's to creep them. If you want to save some more EV's for Special Attack, 28 EV's outspeeds Timid/Jolly Swellow. Since it can't do much to you though, 12 EV's outspeeds Sceptile. You can also run max Special Attack over max Special Defense, but the Special Defense helps deal with Magmortar.
I have no idea why Camerupt runs that Speed, since it Speed ties with Quilladin, and Golurk is only 146, whereas this set hits 150. Fastest things you want to outspeed are Scarf Tauros, and Timid/Jolly Swellow, so to outspeed those at +4 would be 176 and 128 respectively. 240 Speed EV's is needed for Scarf Tauros, whereas 48 Speed EV's is needed for Swellow.

Shoutouts
Whoever made that Camerupt set, it was on some Smogon post a while ago.
Dentricos for the Baedilly Cradily set.

Shoutouts to Kiyo for using Heatmor in a fire spam team back in the Typh meta where people doubted his genius since he didn't run hazard control barring Taunt Pyroar however I decided to try out the concept and it's actually pretty fun if not aggressive playstyle. Heatmor's surprise factor is a good way to throw off people due to his basically zero usage in NU and can neuter and weaken a ton of Fire checks in NU. Lanturn gets its AV knocked off or hit hard by Giga Drain. Rhydon gets Giga Drained. Mantine gets bopped by ThunderPunch after rocks or is simply outsped (unless specs). Yama/Grumpig gets its AV knocked off and Sligoo gets it's Eviolite knocked off. There are a bunch of tech moves I want to test like Will-O, Low Kick or even Sucker Punch but for now this coverage seems nice. Pyroar appreciates these checks being weakened and can also prevent setup, defogs and rocks with taunt if need be since both Fire mons hate rocks and appreciate hazard support. Finally this core was obviously weak to Aqua jet so I threw on SD Sceptile to help deal with Rock,Grounds and Waters for the Fire types. It also helped weak threats to the core and lure Yama who might expect Special Sceptile and appreciates things like Sligoo/mantine being weakened. It can also clean up late game after Heatmor/Pyroar have weakened everything. Btw speed on heatmor is for random max speed Abomasnow/Lapras.
