Snagg's self esteem issues plague him constantly, forcing him to rely on his disguising abilities to hide himself. Elizabeth has hardly seen Snagg's normal form, so she can barely recognize him, often relying on his voice to identify him. However, Snagg seems to have a faint affection for Elizabeth, because he often disguises as her other Pokemon to be pet from time to time. Elizabeth says that it's unnecessary; she'd pet Snagg whatever he looks like.

"For Singles, each combatant will use three actions per round, with a certain number of substitutions to use that can change your orders depending on what the opponent does. This battle has two substitutions you can use per round, but typically you'll get to use three. If you used a damaging Grass-type combination, like Solar Beam + Solar Beam, my Pokemon would use Dig, in this example.

Oh, combinations. In ASB, your Pokemon can combine two moves to perform a more powerful combination attack. Typically, the combination has to make sense, like Blizzard + Sheer Cold. You can also combine the same move with itself to get a very powerful version of itself, such as Solar Beam + Solar Beam. Same-move combinations have a Base Attack Power of 2.25x the move used, so Solar Beam's 12 BAP goes all the up to 27. Different move combos just combine the BAP together, so Blizzard + Sheer Cold is 11 + 25 = 36 BAP. Just be warned that combinations can be very expensive on the EN, so use them sparingly."

"Okay, so you've got a basic strategy down, to spam attacks in a damage race. Swords Dance is a neat move, but honestly, in ASB, stat boosting moves are very niche and usually not powerful. In ASB, a stat boost such as +1 Attack will only add 2 damage to an attack, while +1 Defense will remove 2 damage. These boosts also aren't affected by super effective moves, so even if you use a super effective move, it only adds 2 more damage. I would say that using one Swords Dance here would have been effective, but 2 Swords Dance lets me have an early lead on you.

My criticisms aside, you seem to have a good grasp on the basics. Lets see how you write substitutions. If you need any help, ask away, either here or on Discord."
