Now, let me take the opportunity to explain some of the things that are different in this game. Paralysis has different levels of severity that affect the chance that a Pokemon cannot act. However, the severity goes down at the end of a round or when a Pokemon is fully paralyzed. This makes paralysis more balanced, so that a Pokemon cannot be permanently crippled by paralysis. You can initiate a switch phase anytime you order first in a round, as long as you don't initiate them two rounds in a row (note that counter-switching or switching out with a self-switching move like U-turn don't count as initiating a switch phase). During a switch phase, you swap your active Pokemon out. Then, in most cases (unless your opponent is trapped by a move like Fire Spin or Mean Look), your opponent gets an opportunity to counter-switch and swap out their active Pokemon as well, if they choose to do so. "You might've noticed that Pancham lost the boosts that it gained from Work Up. In ASB, stat-boosting moves are much weaker. For one, each stat boost only raises or lowers final damage by 2. My Karate Chop would've normally dealt 14.25 damage, but dealt 16.25 with Work Up. This works out to only be a 14% increase in damage, much lower than the 50% you get in-game. Also, stat changes decay in ASB. If a stat is not raised or lowered in a round, it will move by 1 towards the natural stage of 0. Since Pancham's Atk and SpA didn't increase or decrease this round, they both moved by 1 toward 0, and now Pancham's Atk and SpA are back to 0. Now with this in mind, send out, equip, and order with your Murkrow!"

PS: You might want to take a look at Fly. Moves like Fly and Dig are very powerful in ASB.
