[BoR Round 1] Dummy007 vs Simonsays

koto.jpg

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! And welcome to yet another match of the Best Of The Rest tournament!

Damn, the action just cant stop! With two tournaments going on at the same time, for a total of 16 matches, you just cant keep up with all the action, despite the TVs we set across the stadium for this occasion.

Regardless, yet another battle has to begin if we wish to get anywhere with this, so lets give our applauses to two trainers that have proven their skill more than once!

(Clubs) King the LUCARIO @ Expert Belt

Ice Punch ~ Stone Edge ~ Ice Punch
- IF Damaging Evasive move AND Draco is faster, use Substitute 15hp that action, resetting the queue
- IF Offensive Fire move would be used, use Detect that action non consequetively, resetting the queue

Let's make this quick. I don't want Lucario sticking around any longer than it needs to be.

[Intimidate Auto-Activate] Earthquake -> Brick Break -> CATEGORY >9000! {Earthquake + Earthquake combo}
IF you are frozen on A1, change A2 to Dragon Dance and A3 to Roost (and also cry)
IF for some reason Intimidate wouldn't auto-activate, don't waste an action activating it

Yeah, my bad. I have been sorta busy lately, but things should go back to normal now.

And the fight starts, with Dummy007 sending out Draco, the Salamence, as Simonsays goes to King, the Lucario!

Wait, what? No Mega Stone? Simon, are you drugged?

Koto11.jpg

Ah well, cant do much about that. Expert Belt will have to do the trick!

Draco's confident, dominating posture by itself manages to take King off guard, Intimidating the Mega Lucario and lowering his attack.

The shock was short lived, however, and King dives Draco, using Ice Punch to abuse his Quadruple Weakness for massive damage! The Salamence is, however, undettered and unleashes a powerful Earthquake, doing massive internal damage to his opponent, even doing MORE DAMAGE THAN ICE PUNCH ITSELF!

Switching tactics, King Edges a few Stones and hurts them at the dragon type, with one of them managing to strike the poor thing's toe! It is a critical hit!

Cant say i blame Salamence though. Hurting these little guys just SUCKS. On the verges of crying, Salamence retaliates with a Brick Break, aiming at Lucario's toes as well and getting ANOTHER CRITICAL HIT! Remember kids, aim for the toe!

Now both pokemon are crying! Damn, i never thought i would see that day.....they just cant fight like that, so lets give them a few minutes to recover, alright?

500px-15_minutes_later.jpg

Zzzzz.....Oh, they recovered? Alright then.

Lucario once again Ice Punches Salamence, this time on his huge ass jaw while Mence goes for a massive Earthquake combo. Amazingly, the attack managed to KO King instantly!

And with this, Dummy gets an early lead, but now he has to leave a severely weakned Salamence that is also forced to Cooldown. How will Simon respond?

For his second pokemon, Simon unleashes Vigillante, the Roserade.

Roserade, however, doesnt seems to be very interested in fighting and instead, takes his trusty acoustic guitar....

Draco tries to use this opportunity while Vigilante has his back turned, but with a swift movement, the Roserade turns around and unleashes a Sludge Bomb. At first, the Salamence tanks it like a man. It is a 600 BST Pseudo-Legendary, after all! He cant just scream and faint instantly.

Sadly, the attack is wide enough to strike the entirely of Mence's body, including a sensible spot that we previously focused on....

nqmk.jpg

The dragon can not fight back his tears and screams in pain, one final time, before finally going down as the Grass type finishes his song.

The score is even again.

Unleashing his third pokemon, Neville the Colossoil, Dummy007 seems confident, despite the unfavourable match up.

Making use of his speed, Neville immediately Fake Outs Vigillant, stunning the grass type before he can retaliate.

While his opponent is holding his head, trying to think straight, Colossoil digs a hole underground to make sure he will not have to take unnecessary hits, just as the Roserade recovers. Knowing he can not hit Neville from this position, Simon orders his pokemon to cover the Terrain in Grass. It is so beautiful!

Not giving a damn about pretty things because he is an overpowered bastard, Neville emerges and strikes his opponent hard, though the flower's smell managed to heal some damage.

Neville, happy that plants are not trying to kill him this time, applaudes Roserade, asking for an Encore, but a timely Protect blocks the move's effects as the flowers heal Vigillant a bit more.

With this, Dummy has a considerable advantage, but now he is forced to order first against a grass type with Grass Knot. What will he do now?

"Perfect setup, Neville! Let's keep our opponent on his toes and save you from taking unnecessary damage."

Encore -> Chill -> Dig
If Roserade uses Endure + Endure on A1, change actions to Chill -> Knock Off -> Dig
If Roserade successfully uses a Grass-type combo on A3, change that action to Dig + Dig

Once again giving his applauses, Neville attempts to Encore Vigillant into Protect.

Wait what? Roserade shot a Solarbeam at his opponent?! It seems Neville accidentaly clapped during the Grass type's charge! This could spell trouble for the narwhal....

Aaaaand it does, as the Colossoil attempts to Chill and restore some energy, only to, once again, get shot in the face by a Solarbeam.

Deciding that getting shot in the face sucks, Colo Digs a hole, while Roserade throws Spikes around his opponent's side of the field to punish switching, only to get smacked once again.

Action 1

Neville used Encore - 14 energy

Vigi used Solarbeam - 7 energy
To crit (6719) - No
(12 + 3 + 3)*1,5 = 27 damage

+2 HP to both

Action 2

Neville chilled +12 energy

Vigi used Solarbeam - 7 energy
To crit (9199) - No
(12 + 3 + 3)*1,5 = 27 damage

+2 HP to both

Action 3

Neville used Dig - 9 energy
To crit (8730) - No
(8 + 3 + 3) + 4 = 18 damage

Vigi used Spikes - 8 energy

Grass Knot ~ Mega Drain ~ Grass Knot
- IF Evasive Damaging move would be used AND not suspended (not in combination), use Grass Knot + Grass Knot combination ~ Cooldown ~ Mega Drain, starting from activation. Repeat if necessary.
- IF Encore would be used, use SolarBeam ~ SolarBeam, restarting the queue afterwards.

"Urgh, this is bad. Very bad. But not so bad that we can't overcome it. (I will be really sad if this ruins me. ;_;)"

Substitute [15] -> Double Team (4 clones) -> Dig
If Mega Drain hits, change A3 to Substitute [15]
