Thanks for posting! I'm sorry but this core doesn't seem to do much against the team. The combination of Toxapex + Mega Sableye completely walls this. You haven't mentioned any partner to solve this issue either. Defog has less PP then Toxic Spikes OR Stealth Rocks so you will be losing the fight in the long run. Since this core cannot break this team, I'm going to have to reject this. You are more than welcomed to try again!!![]()

As a defensive core, besides being able to check a majority of offensive physical threats in general, it is able to function effectively against this team which relies heavily on poison to stall out the opponent. Celesteela being immune to Toxic allows it to wall and freely Leech Seed everyone bar Mega-Sableye, which in turn is checked by Arceus-Water. This means that Waterceus has an option to run Stealth Rock since it has a good matchup against Groundceus as well. The only way to defeat Arceus-Water is getting it badly poisoned, which can be somewhat mitigated by pivoting into Celesteela. This gives Waterceus ample opportunities to Defog away the Toxic Spikes. However, this means Waterceus has 4MSS in the fact that besides Stealth Rock and Defog, running Toxic to catch Lugia would also come in handy.

Core formed by three mons where PDon is mixed Eruption that with the help of SR in Dugtrio presses vs that stall. This traps thanks to his ability to Chansey / Toxa and Ttar being able to finish them + Move z. Finally is Gyarados-mega that to tell the truth is ridiculous how well it goes vs all kinds of stalls ignoring skills and with Taunt access. It allows you to press the rest of the team as GroundCeus, where you can enter without much trouble, Lugia and Sableye. Aqua Tail on Waterfall for more power although there is a risk of failing.
Dugtrio @ Groundium Z
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Tomb
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 56 Atk / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
Mild Nature
- Stone Edge
- Eruption
- Fire Blast
- Precipice Blades
Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Taunt
- Aqua Tail
While a team built around this core does have great chances of beating the team of this round, I find it hard to believe that you can make a good team around this. In my opinion, Dugtrio really doesn't do much for the team; yes it traps Chansey, TTar, and Toxapex but does it really do anything that Primal Groudon OR Mega Gyarados can't? I don't think so.
The core of SR Eruption Primal Groudon + Mega Gyarados by itself can break this team fairly easily. Infact, Mega Gyarados can setup on 4 / 6 of the Pokemon fairly easily while the other two are still susceptible to this it after a Dragon Dance. I highly suggest that you remove Dugtrio and use SR on Primal Groudon instead, otherwise, this is very close to being rejecting as well. Thanks for posting though!!
