[OVERVIEW]
Carnivine is severely outclassed by other Grass-types such as Leafeon, Tangela, and Roselia due to its slow base Speed, mediocre defenses, and shallow support movepool. It lacks reliable recovery, can easily be worn down, and is easily revenge killed due to its poor Speed. Although it has Levitate, which gives it an immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes; Sleep Powder, which usually gives it a chance to set up; and a good Attack stat coupled with a 120 Base Power STAB move and Knock Off, Carnivine still remains hopelessly outdone by its fellow Grass-types and will rarely, if ever, perform better than them.

Moves
========

Sleep Powder allows Carnivine to cripple opposing Pokemon to get the chance to fire off its attacks. Power Whip is Carnivine's main STAB move, while Knock Off is used to hit Pokemon immune or resistant to Grass-type attacks and can cripple switch-ins such as Tangela and Vullaby, which are immune to Sleep Powder. Natural Gift gives Carnivine a one-time 100 Base Power Fire-type move to hit Grass-types with if it's running a Watmel Berry, and it can help improve Carnivine's poor coverage.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack investment with an Adamant nature gives Carnivine as much wallbreaking power as possible. 68 Speed EVs allows Carnivine it to outspeed uninvested Gourgeist-XL to hit it with a Knock Off. The rest of the EVs are put into HP to give Carnivine extra bulk. Watmel Berry is essential with Natural Gift, as otherwise Carnivine is incapable of using the move.

Usage Tips
========

Carnivine is most effectively used early- and mid-game where it can cripple opposing teams to support a sweep. Sleep Powder is the move Carnivine should use most of the time since it can start firing off attacks afterward. If you're predicting the opponent to send in a Pokemon immune to Sleep Powder such as Tangela or Zebstrika, use Knock Off or Natural Gift to get off damage, depending on the circumstance. Use Knock Off more early-game to cripple foes by removing their items. Be wary of switching Carnivine into Scald or status users such as Poliwrath or Misdreavus, as it is permanently crippled by burns and does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic or slowed by paralysis.

Team Options
========

Setup sweepers such as Barbaracle appreciate Carnivine's ability to Knock Off Eviolites from the likes of Tangela. They can also use the foe Carnivine has put to sleep as setup fodder provided that the foe does not switch out. Pokemon that can remove entry hazards with Defog or Rapid Spin such as Pelipper or Armaldo can keep Carnivine's Focus Sash intact . Pokemon immune to Fire-type attacks, such as Rapidash, can help take on and discourage the use of Fire-type moves for Carnivine. Most Pokemon immune to Fire also carry super effective coverage for the Grass-types that can wall or threaten Carnivine. Pokemon that can take on Ice-types, such as Clefairy and Piloswine, can also help switch into Pokemon such as Aurorus that threaten to revenge Carnivine. Zebstrika can counter Jumpluff, one of the biggest threats to Carnivine, as well as threaten other Flying- and Grass-types such as Swanna and Tangela. Pokemon with a slow pivoting move, such as Probopass, can get Carnivine a free switch onto the field with Volt Switch so that it avoids taking extra damage. Clerics such as Lickilicky or Grumpig can healing off Carnivine's status conditions.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Swords Dance can be run to boost on sleeping or weak Pokemon, but Carnivine is too slow to sweep teams, loses out on running Natural Gift, and is outclassed by Leafeon in this role. Substitute is also an option to give Carnivine protection against status and weak attacks. Leech Seed can be run over Sleep Powder for a SubSeed set, but it fails to get past any of Carnivine's normal counters and Carnivine is too slow to run it effectively, unlike better users such as Gourgeist-S. Leftovers can be used for some passive recovery to counteract losing health if running Substitute, but Carnivine is typically KOed too fast for the item to be useful.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass-types**: Grass-types are immune to Sleep Powder and resist Power Whip, making them some of the best switch-ins to Carnivine, although some do not appreciate losing their Eviolite via Knock Off or being hit by Natural Gift. Most Grass-types carry super effective coverage versus other Grass-types, such as Tangela's Hidden Power Fire, and are capable of at least 3HKOing Carnivine. Jumpluff in particular takes very little damage from Knock Off, as it does not run an item, and can KO Carnivine with STAB Acrobatics.

**Fire-types**: Although Fire-types are not immune to Sleep Powder and can be crippled on the switch in, they can switch into a resisted Power Whip fairly easily, and they are capable of OHKOing Carnivine, although most take heavy damage from Knock Off.

**Ice-types**: Ice-types lack the resistances to Carnivine's attacks and sleep immunity of Grass-types, but they can all KO Carnivine with their super effective STAB moves. Piloswine and Aurorus should be careful, however, since they take heavy damage from Power Whip.

**Flying-types**: Flying-type Pokemon can easily OHKO or 2HKO Carnivine with their super effective STAB moves. Most Flying-types resist Power Whip aside from Swanna and Pelipper, although Knock Off does a significant amount to most if Carnivine can catch them on the switch in.

**Strong Attackers**: All strong attackers in the metagame are capable of 2HKOing Carnivine thanks to its poor defenses. Carnivine is also slower than most of them, leaving it prone to being revenge killed by practically every offensive Pokemon in the metagame.

Overview: I wouldnt say teams have a 'designated sleep absorber', rather they just happen to have one as grass types are really good (also others like ursa)
Im sure you will expand upon the last point but im still gonna mention it here to include stuff like 'easily revenge killed due to low speed + many weaknesses) + also give examples of common pokes that wall it

After looking at oo the natural gift set might be better as sub does little and it doesnt care too much about its lefties (not like you can call it a gimmick when the poke is carnivine
e: confirmed set: sp power whip knock off ngift/sub; then sash / berry for ngift / miracle seed (s/o to trc)

moves: also say sub blocks status (assuming it is kept)

UT: u dont need to mention sleep clause

oo: mention return i guess for nice neutral damage (+ does shit to togetic/pluff)

This looking good 1/3

[OVERVIEW]
this is outclassed also because of its lack of reliable recovery, which makes it also easily worn down
in that regard, i'll still mention levitate as it gives it immunity to toxic spikes and spikes which is something at least
mention this can only run offensive sets
mention that other than being slow its typing is also not that great and makes it prone to being revengekilled or stopped from setting up easily

[SET]
meadow plate is better than miracle seed

move leftovers to oo, it isnt in the set
you dont have to mention ability when its the only one available, i'd rather explain what it does in overview

Usage Tips

mention this is mostly effective in mid-game to take out opposing walls for other sweepers
mention this can be brought on the field by slow voltturn
mention this should be wary switching on moves such as scald or Pokemon w status moves as they can cripple it
mention carnivine can set up a sd on pokemon it forces out or weak attackers

Team Options

mention entry hazard setters
setup sweepers also appreciate carnivine's ability to take out walls
mention clerics
mention healing wish users

Checks and Counters

add flying-types
add status

ok implement both Anty and my check and it's QC 2/3

Implemented most of this and wrote it up. Didn't add return (why would you ever really use this, especially since toge left and pluff is 2hkoed after rocks with knock anyway), meadow plate (no diff), only offensive sets (obv), and healing wish users (waste of a good chimecho)

In Set Details, remove the part about being outsped when you talk about Focus Sash. Other than that, it looks good.

The rest of the EVs are put into HP to give Carnivine it extra bulk. Watmel Berry is essential when using Natural Gift, as it otherwise it is incapable of using the move, although it can only be used once (Already mentioned in Moves). If you're predicting opponents to send in Sleep Powder immunities such as Tangela or Zebstrika, use Knock Off or Power Whip to get off free damage, depending on the circumstance (Zebstrika is immune to Power Whip). in general, pretty good job here! mostly good changes, only a couple of incorrect ones, and they'll be fixed with practice if you're interested in keeping this up.

[OVERVIEW]
Carnivine is severely outclassed by other Grass-types such as Leafeon, Tangela, (serial comma) and Roselia due to its slow (Carnivine is slow, but the stat itself isn't slow; it can be "low" though) base Speed, mediocre defenses, (comma) and shallow support movepool. It lacks reliable recovery, can easily be worn down, and is easily revenge killed due to its poor Speed. Although it has Levitate, (comma) which to gives it an immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes,; (semicolon) Sleep Powder, (comma) which usually can sometimes gives it a chance to set up,; (semicolon) and a good Attack stat coupled with a 120 Base Power STAB move and Knock Off, Carnivine still remains hopelessly outdone by its fellow Grass-types and will rarely, if ever, perform better than them other Grass-types in the metagame. (the semicolons here might look a little strange, but if you're listing things and there are commas other than the ones separating the items, it gets kind of confusing; then, it's allowed to separate the items with semicolons rather than commas.)

Focus Sash allows Carnivine prevents Carnivine from being OHKOed by the majority of the tier by allowing it to live survive a single hit when at full health and retaliate with a Power Whip or Knock Off. Carnivine is most effectively used early- to and (see Standards) mid-game where it can cripple opposing teams to support a sweep. Use Sleep Powder to cripple foes before attempting to set up a Substitute, as most Pokemon in the metagame can easily break Carnivine's Substitute in one hit. Substitute can also be used when predicting slower foes to use a status move, (comma) or when predicting a foe that it threatens, such as Carracosta, to switch out. Do not always avoid using Substitute if Carnivine is using a Focus Sash, as they both accomplish the goal of keeping Carnivine around for an extra turn but Substitute also allows Carnivine to avoid unnecessary predictions. If you're predicting opponents to send in a Pokemon immune to Sleep Powder immunities ("immunities" only refers to like... "Ghost has two immunities: Normal and Fighting". same with "resists".) such as Tangela or Zebstrika, use Knock Off or Power Whip to get off free damage, depending on the circumstance (Zebstrika is immune to Power Whip). Use Knock Off more early-game to cripple foes for later by removing their items. Be wary of switching Carnivine into Scald or status users such as Poliwrath or Misdreavus, as it is permanently crippled by burns, (comma) and does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic, (comma) or slowed by paralysis.

(yay, it's time to revisit parallelism! with the two commas you've added here, this appears to be a list. There are actually two ways you could read the list; I'll cover both...
List of what Carnivine does: It is permanently crippled by burns, does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic, or slowed by paralysis.
1. It is permanently crippled by burns.
2. It does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic.

3. It slowed by paralysis.
List of what Carnivine is: It is permanently crippled by burns, does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic, or slowed by paralysis.
1. It is permanently crippled by burns.

2. It is does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic.
3. It is slowed by paralysis.

So neither interpretation works, because the list is not parallel.
Upon closer examination, it appears that the OP meant something else in the second half of the sentence. Carnivine does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic or slowed by paralysis. "Slowed by paralysis" attaches onto a different list - a list of things Carnivine doesn't appreciate being. Therefore, this should be:
as it is permanently crippled by burns and does not appreciate bing worn down by Toxic or slowed by paralysis.)

Setup sweepers such as Barbaracle appreciate Carnivine's ability to Knock Off Eviolites from the likes of Tangela. They can also use foes Carnivine puts to sleep as setup fodder if they od not switch out (what does this sentence mean?). (I think OP meant... the setup sweepers can use the sleeping foes as setup fodder if the sleeping foes don't switch out.) Pokemon that can remove entry hazards with Defog or Rapid Spin such as Pelipper or Armaldo can keep Focus Sash variants of Carnivine's Focus Sash intact by removing entry hazards Stealth Rock. (eh, this part in general isn't necessary; we already specified that it's "Pokemon that can remove entry hazards", so I feel we don't need to reiterate this) Pokemon immune to Fire-type attacks, such as Rapidash, (commas around "such as Rapidash" here so that it doesn't look like Rapidash is an example of a Fire-type attack. kind of silly but it's good to be extra clear) can help take on and discourage the use of Fire-type moves attackers for Carnivine, as well as discouraging foes from using Fire-type attacks for fear of giving your team a free switch. Most Pokemon immune to Fire-type immunities also carry super-effective (hyphen) (it's actually just "super effective") coverage for the Grass-types that can wall or threaten Carnivine. Pokemon that can take on Ice-types, (comma) such as Clefairy and Piloswine, (comma) (good) can also help switch into Pokemon such as Aurorus which that threaten to revenge kill Carnivine. Zebstrika can counter Jumpluff, one of the biggest threats to Carnivine, as well as threatening other Flying- and Grass-types such as Swanna and Tangela for Carnivine. (time for parallelism again.
Carnivine is too slow to sweep teams, loses out on running Substitute, and being more directly outclassed by Leafeon.
1. Carnivine is too slow to sweep teams.
2. Carnivine loses out on running Substitute.

3. Carnivine being more directly outclassed by Leafeon.

What would make the third one grammatically correct? "Carnivine is outclassed by Leafeon in this role" seems okay to me. So: Carnivine is too slow to sweep teams, loses out on running Substitute, and is outclassed by Leafeon in this role.)

Leech Seed can be run over Sleep Powder for a SubSeed set, but (comma) it fails to get past any of Carnivine's normal counters and it's Carnivine is (careful here) too slow to run it effectively, unlike better users such as Gourgeist-S. Leftovers can be used for some passive recovery to counteract losing health from Substitute, but Carnivine is typically KOed too fast for them the item (Leftovers is singular) to be useful.

**Fire-types**: Although Fire-types are not immune to Sleep Powder and can be crippled on the switch in, ("switch-in" with the dash refers only to "a Pokemon that switches in to [stuff]"; the act of switching itself doesn't take the dash) they can switch into a resisted Power Whip fairly easily, and (comma).(remove period) All offensive Fire-types they are capable of OHKOing Carnivine, although most take heavy damage from Knock Off.

**Status**: Carnivine can be severely crippled by burn, which halves its Attack and breaks its Focus Sash (clearer and not passive) as it both has its Attack halved which prevents it from doing significant damage and can have can break its Focus Sash broken. Setup sweepers such as Barbaracle appreciate Carnivine's ability to Knock Off Eviolites from the likes of Tangela. They can also use the foes Carnivine has put puts to sleep as setup fodder provided that the foe does if they od not switch out. Pokemon that can remove entry hazards with Defog or Rapid Spin such as Pelipper or Armaldo can keep Focus Sash variants of Carnivine's Focus Sash intact by removing Stealth Rock. Pokemon immune to Fire-type attacks, such as Rapidash, (commas around "such as Rapidash") can help take on and discourage the use of Fire-type moves attackers for Carnivine, as well as discouraging foes from using Fire-type attacks for fear of giving your team a free switch. Most Pokemon immune to Fire-type immunities also carry super effective coverage for the Grass-types that can wall or threaten Carnivine. Pokemon that can take on Ice-types, (comma) such as Clefairy and Piloswine, (comma) can also help switch into Pokemon that threaten to revenge kill Carnivine, such as Aurorus that threaten to revenge Carnivine. Zebstrika can counter Jumpluff, one of the biggest threats to Carnivine, as well as threatening other Flying- and Grass-types such as Swanna and Tangela for Carnivine. Pokemon with a slow pivoting move, such as Probopass, (commas around "such as Probopass") can get Carnivine a free switch onto the field with Volt Switch so that it avoids taking extra damage. Clerics such as Lickilicky or Grumpig can help Carnivine by healing off Carnivine's its status conditions.

Swords Dance can be run to boost on sleeping or weak Pokemon, (comma) but Carnivine is too slow to sweep teams, (comma) and loses out on running Substitute, and is as well as being more directly outclassed by Leafeon in this role. Leech Seed can be run over Sleep Powder for a SubSeed set, but (comma) it fails to get past any of Carnivine's normal counters and Carnivine is too slow to run it effectively, unlike better users such as Gourgeist-S. Leftovers can be used for some passive recovery to counteract losing health from Substitute, but Carnivine is typically KOed too fast for them the item to be useful.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass-types**: Grass-types are all immune to Sleep Powder and resist Power Whip, making them some of the best switch-ins to Carnivine, although some do not appreciate losing their Eviolite via when Knocked Off. Most Grass-types carry super effective coverage versus other Grass-types, such as Tangela's Hidden Power Fire, and are capable of at leaf least (love the typo though) 3HKOing Carnivine. Jumpluff in particular takes very little damage from Knock Off, (comma) as it does not run an item, (comma) and can KO Carnivine through its Substitute. (period)

**Fire-types**: Although Fire-types are not immune to Sleep Powder and can be crippled on the switch in, they can switch into a resisted Power Whip fairly easily, and (comma).(remove period) All offensive Fire-types they are capable of OHKOing Carnivine, although most take heavy damage from Knock Off.

**Ice-types**: Ice-types lack resistances to Carnivine's attacks and the sleep immunity of Grass-types, but they can all KO Carnivine with their super effective STAB moves. Refrigerate Aurorus can also outspeed and KO Carnivine through its Substitute with Hyper Voice.

**Flying-types**: Flying-type Pokemon can easily OHKO or - (remove hyphen)2HKO Carnivine with their super effective STAB moves. Most Flying-types resist Power Whip aside from Swanna and Pelipper, although Knock Off does a significant amount to most Flying-type Pokemon if Carnivine can catch them on the switch in. Jumpluff is also capable of KOing Carnivine through its Substitute thanks to Infiltrator and with its STAB Acrobatics.

**Strong Attackers**: All strong attackers in the tier metagame are capable of 2HKOing Carnivine at worst thanks to its poor defenses. Carnivine is also slower than most all of them, leaving it prone to being revenge killed KOed by practically every offensive Pokemon in the metagame.

**Status**: Carnivine can be severely crippled by burn, which halves its Attack and breaks its Focus Sash as it both has its Attack halved which prevents it from doing significant damage and can break its Focus Sash. Both burn and poison wear down Carnivine quickly if it uses Substitute, especially thanks to its lack of even passive recovery with Leftovers, and paralysis prevents it from outspeeding even the few defensive (Duosion etc.) Pokemon that it normally would.

Although it has Levitate, which gives it an immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes; Sleep Powder, which usually gives it a chance to set up; and a good Attack stat coupled with a 120 Base Power STAB move Power Whip and Knock Off, Carnivine still remains hopelessly outdone by its fellow Grass-types and will rarely, if ever, perform better than them.

Sleep Powder allows Carnivine to cripple opposing Pokemon to try to set up free Substitutes or Swords Dances. Power Whip is Carnivine's main STAB move (what's some stuff that it hits?), while Knock Off is used to hit Pokemon immune or resistant to Grass-type attacks and can cripple switch-ins such as Tangela and Vullaby, which are immune to Sleep Powder. Substitute allows Carnivine to set up while foes are asleep, blocks status moves, and makes it harder to revenge kill Carnivine. Natural Gift gives Carnivine a one-time 100 Base Power Fire-type move to hit Grass-types with if it's running a Watmel Berry, and it can help improve Carnivine's poor coverage.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack investment with an Adamant nature gives Carnivine as much wallbreaking power as possible. 68 Speed EVs allows Carnivine it to outspeed uninvested Gourgeist-XL and either KO it with a Knock Off if Gourgeist-XL is weakened or set up a Substitute on the predicted Will-O-Wisp. The rest of the EVs are put into HP to give Carnivine itextra bulk. Focus Sash allows Carnivine to survive a single hit when at full health and retaliate with a Power Whip or Knock Off. Watmel Berry is essential when using Natural Gift, as otherwise Carnivine is incapable of using the move. Miracle Seed gives Carnivine a stronger Power Whip and can be used on non-Natural Gift sets that don't wish to use Focus Sash.

Usage Tips
========

Carnivine is most effectively used early- and mid-game, (AC) where it can cripple opposing teams to support a sweep. Use Sleep Powder to cripple foes before attempting to set up a Substitute, as most Pokemon in the metagame can easily break Carnivine's Substitute in one hit. Substitute can also be used when predicting slower foes to use a status move, or when predicting a foe that it threatens, such as Carracosta, to switch out. Do not always avoid using Substitute if Carnivine is using a Focus Sash, as they both accomplish the goal of keeping Carnivine around for an extra turn, (AC) but Substitute also allows Carnivine to avoid unnecessary predictions. If you're predicting the opponent to send in a Pokemon immune to Sleep Powder, (AC) such as Tangela or Zebstrika, use Knock Off or Power Whip to get off land free damage, using either move depending on the circumstance what Pokemon you believe will switch in. Use Knock Off more often early-game to cripple foes by removing their items. Be wary of switching Carnivine into Scald or status users such as Poliwrath or Misdreavus, as it is permanently crippled by burns and does not appreciate being worn down by Toxic or slowed by paralysis.
