Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Rock Polish
- Zen Headbutt
- Thunder Punch

Metagross-mega is reaaly hard to deal with after rock polish, it outspeed both and kill them with Meteor smash, and Zen headbutt, mega aero can't kill gross with Earthquake, and keldeo can only beat it with Hydro pump before mega evolution.

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Aerodactyl: 584-690 (194 - 229.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Flamethrower / Thunder Wave

Clefable isn't 2HKO'd by any of those two's moves after Leftovers except for Keldeo's Hydro Pump but it can just set-up Calm Minds.

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Scald vs. 252 HP / 84+ SpD Clefable: 178-210 (45.1 - 53.2%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Waterfall
- Bounce

Alright so the point of this set is to lure keld with bounce, so if its a gyara vs mega aero situation, intimidate as regular gyara activates and decreases mega aero's attack stat by 1 obviously. So then mega evolve safely and DD predicting the keld switching, if they stay in with mega aero expecting it to be normal gyara, oh look a free DD! If its a keld vs gyara situation, then stay in reg form and you dont fear much aside from a scald burn. But like this keld set has nothing to really hit regular gyara with that threatens it too much like hp electric but then again aside from the scald burn chance. Basically a unboosted bounce from regular gyara ohkos and a +1 from mega gyara ohkoes either way. This is a threat to both of them

Defensive Calcs:

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Gyarados: 134-158 (40.4 - 47.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
(that does quite a lot for a resist but considering its shaky accuracy, it shouldnt be much of a problem)

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Gyarados: 125-147 (37.7 - 44.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

-1 252 Atk Mega Aerodactyl Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Gyarados: 105-124 (31.7 - 37.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Offensive Calcs:

252+ Atk Gyarados Bounce vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Keldeo: 324-384 (100.3 - 118.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+1 252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Bounce vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Keldeo: 378-446 (117 - 138%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Waterfall vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Aerodactyl: 372-440 (123.5 - 146.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

4 partners, 2 winners: Latios by Recreant, and Magnezone by nameless90. The former has an invaluable resistance to electric, giving the core a much needed check to Pokemon like Mega Manectric and friends. Providing Defog is also nice to rid of SR for Mega Aerodactyl, who appreciates their removal to avoid getting worn down as quickly. In lieu of Defog, it's also able to use options like CM or HP Fire to help the core either break through or lure certain Pokemon. In the case of Magnezone, its ability to trap Pokemon like Mega Scizor and Skarmory is appreciated by Mega Aerodactyl. Both core members are also threatened by Scarf Jirachi as mentioned by a poster, and having Magnezone for this purpose is nifty. As always, providing free switch in opportunities with Volt Switch to the other core members is also appreciated. Lastly, its ability to threaten Clefable is noteworthy because the core doesn't exactly have a sound way of dealing with the thing. Congratulations both!

Reuniclus @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast / Shadow Ball
- Recover

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Blast

Reuniclus hasn't been done in either Core Analysis thread, so here we are! The idea behind these two is simple and self explanatory. Reuniclus is heavily threatened by Pokemon like Bisharp, Mega Scizor, and Tyranitar, all of which Garchomp threatens or wears down via recoil damage. Reuniclus is also capable setting up some CMs on a few of the Pokemon defensive Garchomp tends to draw in or can't really touch, such as Clefable.

You may now begin discussing threats and partners. Make sure to specify whether the Pokemon you mention is a threat or a partner. This will run for 4 or 5 days depending on activity. Have fun!

: Utility Mega Sableye

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Foul Play

Garchomp is easily handled when burned. From there you can recover the damage while using Knock Off and Foul Play to death.
0 Atk Garchomp Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 112 Def Mega Sableye: 102-121 (33.5 - 39.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO ===> you must burn this thing with WoW as fast as possible
0 Atk Mega Sableye Knock Off vs. 240 HP / 176 Def Garchomp: 54-64 (12.9 - 15.3%) -- possible 7HKO
0 Atk Mega Sableye Foul Play vs. 240 HP / 176 Def Garchomp: 112-133 (26.8 - 31.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Mega Sableye has to burn it to cripple this Garchomp in order to have the upper hand thanks to Recover. Knock Off is to get rid of Rocky Helmet (which stacks annoying residual damage to Rough Skin) and Foul Play completes the task. I want just to point out that in front of Mega Sableye, the dragon can't use Stealth Rock.

Towards Reuniclus, the match is a lot easier thanks to the immunity to the main STAB. Knock Off + Foul Play are enough to win. Sometimes click Recover to be Sableye available later at high health. Ironically, Clefable is a better Calm Minder due to the fact it boasts a superior defensive typing and deals with Mega Sableye/Knock Off well.
0 SpA Reuniclus Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 144+ SpD Mega Sableye: 50-59 (16.4 - 19.4%) -- possible 6HKO

0 Atk Mega Sableye Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Reuniclus: 168-198 (39.6 - 46.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Mega Sableye Foul Play vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Reuniclus: 116-140 (27.3 - 33%) -- 81.8% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Partner
: Skarmory

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind

(Stolen from the dex)
Iron Head allows Skarmory to hit Fairy-types super effectively. Spikes punishes foes whenever they switch, and is stackable with Garchompìs SR for racking up even more damage. Roost keeps Skarmory healthy throughout the match. Whirlwind phazes foes and prevents Skarmory from becoming setup bait, and the move works exceptionally well in tandem with hazards.
Skarmory fits best on balance teams and pairs exceptionally well with users of Stealth Rock such as Garchomp and both have a good type synergy together. The latter also handle the Electric-types that trouble Skarmory, and in return, Skarmory takes on annoying Dragon and Fairy types.
A way to deal with status and bulky waters os recommended.

Partner: Unaware Wall Clefable

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Heal Bell

In one slot you have: (1) a bulky set-up sweeper with Calm Mind to get rid of Dragon/Dark/Fighting types, (1) a tank with a recovery move for Garchomp (which is worn down easily) and (3) a cleric to heal off the detrimental status for the core.

Threats

Weavile @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure / Pickpocket
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Pursuit

Beats out both of these Pokémon with its STABs. It OHKOs Reuniclus 75% of the time with KOff, and after a little chip damage (20% usually does the trick; Volt Switching on the switch-in does the trick on balance/BO, although catching it with a Seismic Toss from Chansey as it comes in to set up on you should suffice for stall if you don't mind taking a chance with a potential Focus Blast as you come in) a boosted Pursuit kills too. It doesn't take a genius to work out that this also blows Garchomp back.

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Flash Cannon
- Fire Blast

Hydreigon ouptaces both of these 'mons. Dark Pulse has a 50% chance to KO unboosted Reuniclus, and Hydra can tank an unboosted Focus Blast from full in a pinch. Draco easily KOs Chomp, and it can hard switch into an Earthquake in a pinch due to Levitate.

Partners

Keldeo @ Rocky Helmet / Life Orb / Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
(IVs: 28 HP -- Leftovers only; hits a Leftovers number)
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

It covers Weavile sufficiently and repeatedly due to RestTalk. Not really much else to say, cause it is very much a "written-on-the-tin" type of partner here. Fighting-type coverage is also nice for Shadow Ball variants I guess, although that's not to say that Focus Blast is inviable alongside Keldeo.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD OR 248 HP / 16 Atk / 44 Def / 200 SpD (there's probably a better spread than these two)
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn / Knock Off / Superpower
- Roost

Another Dark-type counter. KOff "resistance" due to being a mega, and resistant to Dragon-, Ice- and Steel-type coverage, easing up the matchup v.s. Bisharp and easing the pressure off of Garchomp a little. Needs to beware Fire Blast, but it is able to pivot through it if need be. Moreso a Weavile stop. U-turn is useful for getting Reuni in for free against stuff it can set up on, and it can also act as a secondary wincon if need be.

Threats:

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Recover
- Defog

Latios OHKOs Garchomp with its Draco Meteor and 2HKOs Reuniclus with its Draco Meteor.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Icy Wind

Gengar deals heavy damage to both Reuniclus and Garchomp.

Partner:

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 96 HP / 160 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Knock Off

AV Tornadus is capable of coming on Latios' and Gengar's attacks in from full and hit for super effective damage. It can also U-turn on the kind of Pokémon that Reuniclus can set-up on.

Threats

Serperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 56 HP / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Glare
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Substitute

Serperior is a massive threat since it can overwhelm Reuinclus just by using Leaf Storm and Garchomp simply put, gets wrecked by Leaf Storm as well. Not much else to say.

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 240 HP / 136 Atk / 132 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast
- Substitute
- Close Combat

Mega Heracross decimates both Reuniclus and Garchomp with Pin Missile with incredible ease. It can also setup a Substitute against Garchomp as Dragon Tail fails to break it and Fire Blast may not be too reliable and that slot is generally flexible depending on team structure.

Partner

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 216 HP / 244 Atk / 48 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Will-O-Wisp
- Acrobatics

Bulky SD Talonflame is a swell partner as it checks Serperior was much ease through priority Brave Bird and resisting it's only STAB. It's tricker with Mega Heracross due to rock Blast, but consdiering it'll be using Pin Missile or Close Combat most of the time it's still a solid check. This set works well as it brings a bit of offensive presence into the mix.

Threat:

1) Mega Gardevoir

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 16 HP / 8 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Will-O-Wisp / Taunt

Gardevoir outspeeds both Pokemon even before it Mega Evolves and can OHKO Garchomp with Hyper Voice. Reuniclus is 2HKOed by Hyper Voice and can only 3HKO back with Shadow Ball.

232 SpA Pixilate Mega Gardevoir Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Reuniclus: 243-286 (57.3 - 67.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Reuniclus Shadow Ball vs. 16 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gardevoir: 108-128 (38.4 - 45.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Reuniclus Psyshock vs. 16 HP / 0 Def Mega Gardevoir: 74-87 (26.3 - 30.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
232 SpA Pixilate Mega Gardevoir Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Garchomp: 518-612 (123.3 - 145.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

2) Kyurem-Black

Kyurem-Black @ Choice Specs
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Draco Meteor
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast

Kyurem-B outspeeds both Pokemon and can OHKO and 2HKO Garchomp and Reuniclus respectively with Ice Beam. The best move Reuniclus has against it is Focus Blast which does 69% maximum.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Teravolt Kyurem-B Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Garchomp: 1048-1236 (249.5 - 294.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Teravolt Kyurem-B Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 56 SpD Reuniclus: 246-289 (58 - 68.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Choice Specs Teravolt Kyurem-B Ice Beam vs. +1 252 HP / 56 SpD Reuniclus: 163-193 (38.4 - 45.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Reuniclus Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Kyurem-B: 228-270 (58.3 - 69%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

3) Landorus-Therian

Landorus-Therian @ Soft Sand
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

Landorus-T can boost up on Reuniclus and OHKO both Pokemon with +2 Earthquake. Garchomp can only Dragon Tail it while taking over half from unboosted Earthquake while Psyshock is only a 3HKO.

+2 252+ Atk Earth Plate Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 164+ Def Garchomp: 375-442 (89.2 - 105.2%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Earth Plate Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 200+ Def Reuniclus: 424-501 (100 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Reuniclus Psyshock vs. 72 HP / 0 Def Landorus-T: 114-135 (33.8 - 40%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Partner

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch
- Bullet Punch / Pursuit

Mega Metagross helps to provide a Fairy resist and Dragon resist to the team. It also deals with a lot of threats to the team like Kyurem-B, Mega Gardevoir and Latios. Ice Punch is a nice option to get past Landorus-T, Gliscor and Garchomp. Finally, Bullet Punch is nice to chip off fast threats like Serperior and Weavile. Pursuit is good for trapping Lati@s.

Infernal

Banned deucer.
Top partners for the Garchomp + Reuniclus core are: Skarmory by nameless90, and Keldeo + Mega Scizor by Martin. Keldeo gives the core extra tools versus dangerous threats like Weavile, Mega Scizor, Bisharp, Mega Sableye, and Tyranitar. It's a tried and true partner on teams with Garchomp + Reuniclus for this reason, and works together excellently with both Pokemon overall. Like Keldeo, Mega Scizor also provides the core with added safety versus threatening dark types. This combined with its ability to check Gengar, Latios, and fairies like Mega Gardevoir all make Mega Scizor a great partner choice. Lastly we have Skarmory, another common partner choice on teams with this core. Providing Spikes to help wear down checks to Reuniclus is sweet, and its ability to check many of the same threats mentioned previously is an added bonus.

Diggersby @ Life Orb
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Return
- Earthquake
- Quick Attack
- Swords Dance

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Healing Wish
- Roost / Defog

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
We haven't done a core with three Pokemon in a while, nor have Diggersby or non-mega Latias ever been featured in either Core Analysis thread. Soooo, here's the resulting core after putting all of those things together, and it's one we're all familiar with: classic double bunny offense with Diggersby and Azu! These two help one another break down defensive walls relatively well. Latias covers a fair amount of their weakness by checking threats like Loom, Keld, Thund-I, and so on. With Thunderbolt, it's also able to lure Skarm, a big obstacle for Diggersby and Azu prior to a BD. Healing Wish also allows Latias to give Diggersby and Azu a second chance to sweep or further break things down. Although Latias' vulnerability to Pursuit is a drawback when it comes to consistently checking some of the threats mentioned before, Azu is capable of exploiting choice locked Pokemon like Tar and other trappers like Weavile to BD up and possibly run through the opposing team. This is especially helpful against teams where Skarm is paired with Pokemon like Tar and Clef, making Latias' luring role harder to pull off successfully.

I could have easily made this a two Pokemon only core. However, because cores with Diggersby usually have very specific top partners like Magnezone, Mega Pinsir, and Latias above, I figured it'd be better to take the route I did instead and pick a 3 Pokemon core with discussion on threats only. Anyway, you may now begin discussing threats. This period will run anywhere from 3-4 days depending on activity. Have fun!

Reserving Tangrowth

Never mind, PhysDef Tangrowth only beats Diggersby and loses to +6 Azu (Play Rough), while AV only checks Lati and forces it out (unless they are dumb enough to try and switch in Diggersby/Azu on you and THEN try and set up.

Serperior @ Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Giga Drain

Serperior is a threat to the core, seeing as it is able to OHKO and boost off of Diggersby and Azumarill, while being able to hit Latias with a boosted Dragon Pulse. It can also revenge Diggersby/Azumarill after they have boosted. However, you cant come in directly, because Diggersby OHKOs with Return and Azumarill/Latias hit it hard with Play Rough/Draco Meteor.
Serperior VS Diggersby
252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Diggersby: 276-328 (88.7 - 105.4%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Diggersby: 478-564 (153.6 - 181.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Serperior: 230-270 (79 - 92.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Serperior: 292-344 (100.3 - 118.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Serperior VS Azumarill
252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Giga Drain vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 268-320 (73.6 - 87.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Belly Drum
252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Leaf Storm vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 463-546 (127.1 - 150%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Serperior: 165-195 (56.7 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Serperior: 186-220 (63.9 - 75.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Serperior VS Latias
252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Leaf Storm vs. 72 HP / 0 SpD Latias: 77-90 (24.1 - 28.2%) -- 94.2% chance to 4HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Dragon Pulse vs. 72 HP / 0 SpD Latias: 135-161 (42.3 - 50.4%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO (If you come in on Defog/Tbolt, you can use this to eliminate a weakened Latias)
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Serperior Dragon Pulse vs. 72 HP / 0 SpD Latias: 268-317 (84 - 99.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Leaf Storm + Dragon Pulse OHKOs)
184 SpA Life Orb Latias Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Serperior: 242-286 (83.1 - 98.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

THREAT

Scarf Kyurem-Black

Kyurem-Black @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 140 Atk / 116 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Bolt
- Dragon Claw

Scarf Kyurem-Black outspeeds all the threats of this team and can OHKO Latias and Diggersby with the appropriate STAB while revenge killing a +6 Azumarill 100% of the time. However, it can't really switch in to many things here-Diggersby's main STAB attacks do a little over 80%, and Psyshock from Latias hurts as well (Play Rough/Draco/Knock Off are all obviously not very fun, although Knock Off doesn't stop you from outspeeding Diggersby and Azumarill anyways). Note that even with hazards up and boosted opponents, this set always is able to revenge-kill (sans critz).

Relevant calculations below:

252+ Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-B: 110-133 (28.1 - 34%) -- 0.7% chance to 3HKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-B: 220-261 (56.2 - 66.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
116 SpA Teravolt Kyurem-B Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Diggersby: 312-368 (100.3 - 118.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
140 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-B Dragon Claw vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Diggersby: 186-219 (59.8 - 70.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-B: 159-187 (40.6 - 47.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
140 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-B Fusion Bolt vs. 92 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 302-356 (82.9 - 97.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

140 Atk Teravolt Kyurem-B Dragon Claw vs. 72 HP / 0 Def Latias: 326-386 (102.1 - 121%) -- guaranteed OHKO
116 SpA Teravolt Kyurem-B Ice Beam vs. 72 HP / 0 SpD Latias: 200-236 (62.6 - 73.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

EVs: 68 Atk / 188 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Hidden Power Ice

While Thunderus's frailty and lack of resistances doesnt allow it to come in on anything, once it is on the field it can scary all three Pokemon of the core thanks to coverage and speed. Knock Off heavily dents Latias and removes its LO, Thunderbolt obliterates Azumarill and either Superpower or HP Ice will take care of Diggy. Calcs:

68 Atk Life Orb Thundurus Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 72 HP / 0 Def Latias: 237-281 (74.2 - 88%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
68 Atk Life Orb Thundurus Superpower vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Diggersby: 333-393 (107 - 126.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

One would think that Thunderus could be dealt with by priority attacks of our two bunny budies, but none of them can KO Thunderus with Quick attack or Aqua Jet even after stealth rock damage.

252 Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Thundurus: 134-160 (44.8 - 53.5%) -- 30.1% chance to 2HKO

However this does not apply if they are boosted, obviously.

(offensive) Mega Venusaur

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fire
- Synthesis
184 SpA Life Orb Latias Draco Meteor vs. 232 HP / 4 SpD Mega Venusaur: 199-235 (55.4 - 65.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Mega Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 72 HP / 0 SpD Latias: 124-147 (38.8 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Latias is the most difficult battle because Draco Meteor hurts a lot, but Synthesis heal more damage (after the first hit) and the opponent's LO puts a timer on the dragon. Sludge Bomb deals a lot of damage (it is a solid 3HKO even without the poison damage or without the LO recoil) and Latias is forced out after the first Draco Meteor.
252+ Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Quick Attack vs. 232 HP / 0 Def Mega Venusaur: 94-110 (26.1 - 30.6%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

252+ SpA Mega Venusaur Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Diggersby: 320-380 (102.8 - 122.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Diggersby is pretty easy: if you have 30,7% of HP (bar a crit) you can stomach a priority attack and, then, kill the bunny regaining a lot of HP in the process.
252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 232 HP / 0 Def Mega Venusaur: 33-39 (9.1 - 10.8%) -- possibly the worst move ever

252+ SpA Mega Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 372-440 (102.1 - 120.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
or 252+ SpA Mega Venusaur Giga Drain vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 312-368 (85.7 - 101%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

Towards Azumarill is the same, except you resist its priority. Bar crits, if you have 10,9% HP you can OHKO back Azumarill (which can't set up on you).

SD Bisharp is very dangerous for this core, after having danced on Latias can clearly eliminate Diggersby and Azumarill without too much trouble., the core don't have switch ins for it.

252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 72 HP / 0 Def Latias: 398-471 (124.7 - 147.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Iron Head vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 437-515 (113.8 - 134.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Diggersby: 448-528 (144 - 169.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

What makes this core so scary is just how hard it is to find defensive answers to the Huge Power spam combined with the ability to get a full restore+free momentum through Latias' Healing Wish--allowing for the user of the core to play recklessly early-on and making it that bit more terrifying to face. As such, I'm gonna focus on offensive threats.

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Leaf Storm / Giga Drain
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power Fire
- Earthquake

Mega Sceptile outpaces Latias and OHKOs it with Dragon Pulse after SR+1 round of LO recoil or if it gets a Lightiningrod boost by pivoting into its Thunderbolt with smart luring. It demolishes both Azumarill and Diggersby with its Grass-type STAB while also being able to take a hit from Quick Attack and 4x resisting Aqua Jet.

Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Pursuit

Mega Beedrill hits both Azu and Latias for super effective damage with its STABs (OHKOing them both as well as dealing over 50% to Diggersby) and can take a hit from both Azumarill and Diggersby's unboosted priority in a pinch if it is at full health. Pursuit is good because it traps Latias, who is scared out in fear of U-turn, allowing it to take out a weakened Latias as it switches while also creating a mindgame between U-turn and Pursuit later on if they are healthy enough to take the first Pursuit. It also actively takes advantage of Latias' Defog clearing Stealth Rock and Spikes from its own side of the field.

Altaria-Mega @ Altarianite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 160 HP / 192 Atk / 4 Def / 152 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Roost
- Cotton Guard
- Dragon Dance

Alright so im here with a mon that isnt exactly the most ideal thing in the oras meta but regardless i think it threatens the core in terms that it can dd up on latias w/o fearing too much since latias cant just click draco due to its partial fairy typing. Psyshock doesnt do much either as it only 3 hit koes, and even if rocks are up psyshock has less than a 40% chance to 2 hit ko. Azu pressures it but if you manage to get a cotton guard up you dont really need to worry about it honestly. The core lacks a solid switchin to mega alt, and can punish them severely. Let me demonstrate the aforementioned with some calcs down below. I know the set may look weird lol but oh well at least its functional against this core! In fact let me tell you what its supposed to do, 152 speed evs on adamant mega alt hits 234 speed. Once it gets a dd up, it hits 351 speed. Which is enough to outpace latias and such. 192 attack evs on mega alt ensures that it always ohkoes 92 hp bd azu at +1 which is pretty nice as thats the more major threat to mega alt. I just dumped the 4 into defense as i wanted mega altaria's hp to hit a rocks number (331), which happens to decrease the chance of mega alt being 2 hit koed by an LO psyshock from latias.

184 SpA Life Orb Latias Psyshock vs. 160 HP / 4 Def Mega Altaria: 133-156 (40.1 - 47.1%) -- 37.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Life Orb Huge Power Diggersby Earthquake vs. +3 160 HP / 4 Def Mega Altaria: 101-121 (30.5 - 36.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. +3 160 HP / 4 Def Mega Altaria: 134-158 (40.4 - 47.7%) -- 56.3% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Threat

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Pursuit

In a nutshell, Mega Metagross can't really switch-in on any of the teammates bar Latias, which from there it can Pursuit Trap it rather easily or on the other hand maul it with Ice Punch. Azumarill and Diggersby's priority also do pretty laughable damage to it overall and from there it can severely weaken Azumarill with Meteor Mash or Thunder Punch and destroy Diggersby with Ice Punch or Meteor Mash.

Partner

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 spe
Jolly Nature
- Superpower
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Swords Dance

Offensive Mega Scizor i think, is the best partner for this particular core. It offers itself as a more reliable check to the plethora of Dragon-types that reside in the tier (albeit not consistently) and checks a host of Steel-types that threaten this core such as Jirachi and Mega Metagross. It also checks Weavile and opposing Fairy-types that are huge threats to this core very nicely. All in all it's a decent glue that maintains the "go go go" feel of the original core.

Infernal

Banned deucer.
Thanks for the threats submissions everyone. Most of the threats I had in mind were mentioned! Two additional ones to take note of are Gengar and Mega Scizor. The former was reserved but never written unfortunately, while the latter was mentioned as a partner. Gengar is notable given its ability to wall Diggersby and OHKO every core member with its usual coverage moves. Mega Scizor walls Latias and is hugely threatening to the core after a SD. Bulky variants are also sturdy enough to stomach an EQ from +0 Diggersby and any of +6 Azumarill's attacks. The OP has been updated accordingly. New core below:

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Swords Dance / Low Kick

Bisharp @ Life Orb / Lum Berry
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch

Classic 'Dark Spam' core with Weavile and Bisharp. Like any typical type spam core, these two aim to draw in and weaken their similar checks and counters, ultimately paving the way for either core member to sweep. For example, after a SD, Weavile can significantly weaken Keld and make Bisharp's life easier later on. Weavile and Bisharp are also able to weaken several annoying defensive threats for each other, such as Skarm and Ferro. Bulky Ground-types that trouble Bisharp, like Hippo and Chomp, are also threatened nicely by Weavile. On the other hand, Bisharp can handle threats like Clef for Weavile. Although these two don't have much defensive synergy, the way they work together offensively makes them an effective duo. A good number of teams lack sound dark resists or simply rely on something like Keld to check a Weavile or Bisharp, and this core exploits that well.

You may now begin discussing threats and partners. Make sure to specify whether the Pokemon you mention is a threat or a partner. This will run for 4 or 5 days depending on activity. Have fun!

Threat: Special Lucario

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Focus Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Vacuum Wave
- Cannon Flash

252+ SpA Life Orb Lucario Vacuum Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Weavile: 395-468 (140.5 - 166.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lucario: 55-64 (19.5 - 22.7%) -- possible 5HKO

252+ SpA Life Orb Lucario Vacuum Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Bisharp: 458-546 (169 - 201.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Bisharp can't even use Sucker Punch because it is outsped although Lucario doesn't run a Spe enhancing nature.

Lucario isn't the best use of Lucario because its special movepool has accuracy issues (Focus Blast) and base power issues (Cannon Flash is accurate, but has middling power even with the STAB and Faeries have an high SpD). Still, it can be viable thanks to Nasty Plot.

Threat: Infernape

Infernape @ Leftovers
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 248 HP / 88 Def / 124 SpD / 48 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Slack Off
- Taunt
- Low Kick

This Infernpe is a counter to this core because it resists Dark, Ice and Steel. Not only that, but it has a defensive EVs spread with the possibility to spread burns or this ape can simply click Low Kick.

Threat: Conkeldurr

Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 236 SpD / 20 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch

252+ Atk Conkeldurr Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Bisharp: 304-360 (112.1 - 132.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Conkeldurr: 94-112 (26.7 - 31.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

252+ Atk Conkeldurr Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Weavile: 432-508 (153.7 - 180.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Conkeldurr: 86-101 (24.5 - 28.7%) -- 98.5% chance to 4HKO

A STAB Fighting-type attack dismantles this core alone, especially if it is a priority move in order to take minimum damage possible from Bisharp (Conkeldurr resists Dark).

Partner: Mega Medicham

Medicham @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Ice Punch
- Fake Out/Rock Tomb
- Zen Headbutt

HJK dismantles Steels not crippled by Knock Off/Dark attacks; Ice Punch dismantles monsters 4x weak to it and Zen Headbutt knocks out Fightning types (alongside annoying Poison pokemons) which threaten this core. Fake Out adds residual damage and enables a safe Mega evolution. Rock Tomb is a good option to overload some fast checks and provides Spe control for the team.
Since XY Medicham has hated the presence of Psychic types and Gengar, but Weavile (+ Bisharp) takes care of these threats perfectly. The latter also provides a nice answer for Garchomp, which Medicham also hates.
Medicham pretty much breaks everything apart from Slowbro, Mega Sableye, Cresselia, and Physically Defensive Mew. Bisharp and Weavile breaks nearly everything that beats Medicham and they both pressure their offensive checks, ie Keldeo, Electrics, Mega Lopunny, etc.

Partner: (Revenge Killer) Alakazam

Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Grass Knot
- Thunder Wave

(Stolen from the dex) Psychic has a higher Base Power than Psyshock and can break through physically defensive foes such as Mega Venusaur, Landorus-T and, Rotom-W much more easily. Focus Blast is a mandatory coverage move, as it deals with Dark- and Steel-types such as opposing Bisharp, Tyranitar, and Ferrothorn. Grass Knot deals with bulky Ground-, Rock-, and Water-types such as Hippowdon, Tyranitar, and Mega Gyarados (a threat to this core without Low Kick on Weavile). Thunder Wave is a great utility option in general for the last slot, allowing Alakazam to cripple threats that it might not outright KO such as Mega Charizard X and Altaria, and it is also a great option to avoid Sucker Punch from Bisharp whilst crippling it in the process and thus is a great fail-safe.
Alakazam easily kills Fighting types which threatens the core and fits well into HO playstyle. The luxury to have Spe control in the form of Thunder Wave is the possibility to cripple checks and this allows Bisharp to run an Adamant nature.

Partner: Heatran

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Stealth Rock

Stealth Rock is simply perfect when you have two hard hitters such as Weavile and Bisharp because Heatran pressures common forms of entry hazard removal.. Defensively speaking, Heatran checks some Faeries.
(Stolen from the dex) The main factor that distinguishes this set from more defensive Heatran variants is a powerful Fire Blast, which makes Heatran quite difficult to switch into and 2HKOes Mega Sableye variants lacking a significant amount of Special Defense investment. Earth Power provides important coverage on the likes of Mega Charizard X, Tentacruel, Mega Diancie, Tyranitar, and opposing Heatran. Flash Cannon targets Fairy-types which Heatran is used to check, such as Mega Altaria, Sylveon, Togekiss, and most notable, Clefable.

I literally played this near-exclusively for 2 months rofl

Threat

Keldeo @ Rocky Helmet / Life Orb / Leftovers / Choice Specs /
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
(IVs: 0 Atk (unchoiced variants only))
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Rest / Hydro Pump / Substitute / Taunt
- Sleep Talk / Icy Wind / Hidden Power Electric / Calm Mind / Taunt

Literally every Keldeo set mauls this core, so I'm not gonna pick any one set and instead am going to list them all condensed into one importable. It resists both STABs of both 'mons and retalliates with 4x super effective Secret Swords. There really isn't much else to say here 'cause it's pretty self-explanitory other than don't switch Scarf variants into a predicted KOff until you no longer need the extra speed so I'll leave it at that.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD OR 248 HP / 16 Atk 44 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- U-turn / Superpower / Knock Off

Mega Scizor has a "resistance" to KOff and resists the secondary STABs of both 'mons while taking jack shit from Low Kick. As such it uses them both as setup fodder with its high defense stat+Roost or to grab momentum. I've mentioned PhysDef specifically here 'cause it's actually a pretty decent set despite not being the standard (severely underrated imho) and because it fares better versus this core 'cause Superpowering/U-turning into a +2 Sucker Punch sucks ass.

Partners

Keldeo @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf / Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
(IVs: 0 Atk (LO only))
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power Electric
- Hydro Pump

Keldeo is the classic partner for this core. It benefits from the pressure that darkspam puts onto
fat Psychic-types, Starmie and Lati@s while also covering stuff like Scizor for the core. Insert obligatory "Fighting-/Dark-type coverage is godly" here.

Latias @ Life Orb / Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe (Life Orb) OR 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe (Latiasite)
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Draco Meteor / Hidden Power Fire / Defog
- Roost
- Healing Wish

Only run Psyshock alongside Draco Meteor, and only run Latiasite if the team happens to lack another mega 'cause it is objectively better due to slightly higher bulk+only v. slight drop in power+lack of LO recoil is super cool. Psychic is still an option alongside Draco and is objectively better on non-Draco variants. Latias is a really cool partner for this core for a few reasons. First of all, it is a v. consistent switch-in to Keldeo, being able to eat whatever it throws at you and retalliate with a Psychic or use Roost to easily heal off the damage its taken. Secondly, it can potentially provide Defog support for Weavile, although when paired with something like Mega Diancie and/or used on a team w/o a particular hazards weakness it can opt to run Roost+HWish+2 attacks. Finally, HEALING WISH. This is literally the best support you can provide to SD spam oml. Especially given that they both get worn down v. fast with LO. This allows you to play v. aggressive early on and then proceed to heal one back up to full in time for a final sweep. Really cool support in general for this core.

FREE ME! (Wobbuffet) @ Custap Berry / Sitrus Berry / Colbur Berry
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 12 HP / 248 Def / 228 SpD / 20 Spe (Custap / Colbur) OR 28 HP / 240 Def / 220 SpD / 20 Spe (Sitrus Berry)
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
- Encore
- Destiny Bond / Safeguard

FREE ME! (Wobbuffet) @ Leftovers / Colbur Berry
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 28 HP / 120 Def / 124 SpD / 236 Spe (Leftovers) OR 136 Def / 136 SpD / 236 Spe (Colbur Berry)
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tickle
- Encore
- Counter
- Mirror Coat

(the latter would have only be paired with variants of this core that carry Pursuit)

Edit: Also Infernal Grass Knot Bisharp is valid on this core to prevent Quagsire shitting on it and to heavily pressure stall as a result. IDK its a more niche option but more splashable on this core than most other Bisharp cores so do as you please with it.

Breloom @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Swords Dance

Really easy way to check this core, even though it can't come in on anything.Once it's in against the core, it can play mind games with bisharp, avoiding sucker punch by using spore, or just going straight for the kill (bisharp speed ties it at best). Weavile can do a good 74-87 percent with ice shard, but is then OHKOed in return by Mach punch.

Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Weavile: 723-858 (257.2 - 305.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Bisharp: 515-608 (190 - 224.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Mega-pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Return
- Close Combat
- Quick Attack

Mega pinsir eliminates most of the threats to this core (fighting types). Mega pinsir Outspeeds and OHKOs breloom with return or quick attack, Outspeeds conkelldur and OHKOs with return, can live a ice punch or return from mega-Lopunny (even with fake out in account, it still doesn't kill, even though it does severely cripple it) and OHKOs with return, and Outspeeds most other threats and either OHKOs with return or close combat or puts it in quick attack range. Some of these mons even can provide set up opportunities for mega pinsir, such as breloom (if it has already put something to sleep).
