Overview

Deoxys-A has an amazing Speed is able to outspeed most of the tier, (RC) coupled with and has sky high Attack and Special attack Attack with a great coverage,(ac) allowing him it to easily go mixed. A Deoxys-A is a great choice for Hyper Offense hyper offens teams in order to maintain pressure,;(comma to semicolon) almost nothing can switch into it safely. It Deoxys-A is extremely frail and can't switch-(remove dash) in on any attack.,(period to comma) Very reliant and while its reliance on its Speed stat means that it and thus has trouble against Choice Scarf users and Speed Control forms of speed control such as Thunder Wave; Extreme Speed only partially compensates for this.

item: Focus Sash
evs: 20 Atk / 252 SpA / 236 Spe

Moves
========
Psycho Boost is (Deoxys' powerful STAB, with 140 base power,)(is this part really necessary?) (It isn't.) able to easily tear down even bulky Pokemon, though it has a -2 SpA drop as a drawback. Ice Beam is a coverage move, it is an excellent in order to hit hard the most common dragon-type,(rc) coverage move which that resist to the main STAB,(rc) hits Dragon-types such as Hydreigon and Latios or other stuff like Landorus-Therian without experiencing Psycho Boost's drawback hard and lets Deoxys-A KO Pokemon weak to it,(ac) such as Landorus-T,(ac) without suffering Psycho Boost's drawback. Extreme Speed is used to outspeed (if you want to say that priority users are common this isn't how to do it) (agreed; the correct term is outprioritize) the most common priority users and,(ac) play mind games against stuff such as Sucker Punch Sucker Punch users such as Mega Kangaskhan,(ac) or and to outspeed KO boosted sweepers with low HP without breaking Focus Sash,;(period to semicolon) due to Deoxys-A's great attack Attack,(ac) it is also great at revenge killing faster stuff(it feels like this and the boosted sweeper point are very similar, to the point that it feels repetition-y. please do something about this; ideally just merge the two) . Super Power is to hit hard . Superpower hits Dark-(AH) and Steel-types, (RC) such as Hydreigon and Bisharp,(ac) hard. Low Kick is an option for Fighting-type coverage and to avoid the Attack drop, but it deals less damage than Superpower against most opponents, foes and Deoxys-A is too frail to mind the Defense drop. Detect is in order to stop stops priority such as Fake Out from Mega-(RH)Kangaskhan, which can KO it Deoxys-A. It is also uselful useful to scout the opponent's foe's moveset, also and since because Deoxys-A is powerful and alwys runs Focus Sash,(ac) Sashed he's it is easily usually a "double target",;(comma to semicolon) Detect is preferred to protect Protect due to Imprision.

Set Details
========
The EV Spread EVs allow Deoxys-A to outspeed Mega Gengar.,(period to comma) Max SpA so that it makes deal huge damage damages with the STAB Psycho Boost, the rest goes to Atk to increase Superpower's damage output and deal slightly more damage with Superpower.;(period to semicolon)(a period is fine; do not change it to a semicolon.) A Rash nature is preferred over a Mild nature,(ac) as Deoxys-A is more likely to not waste its Focus Sash on weak physical attacks than weak special attacks such as Fake Out and Mach Punch boosts Psycho Boost even further and maintains Deoxys-A's Defense to tank physical priority moves, such as Fake Out and Mach Punch, better. Focus Sash is the preferred item because Deoxys-A is very frail and with it it increase Focus Sash increases its staying power. Life Orb is an option to increase its Power Deoxys-A's power, but it reduces the chance to stay of staying alive. An EV spread of 60 Atk / 252 SpA / 196 Spe with a Naive Nature nature is an option a spread to outspeed Adamant Choice Scarf Landorus-T, however,(rc) but it loses a lot of power, giving it Deoxys-A including a lower chance of OHKOing Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Charizard Y, and Thundurus-I.

Usage Tips
========

Deoxys-A often works in a hit-and-run manner, striking hard with Psycho Boost and then switching into something to a bulky teammate (is this what you meant?) so that it can come back in again later with its Special Attack restored. Due to its inability to switch into attacks, Deoxys-A typically functions as a lead or revenge killer;,(semicolon to comma) as it can only switch onto the field after a teammate has been KOed. Deoxys-A needs to be kept away from secondary damage such as sand, hail or Rocky Helmet, as this breaks its Focus Sash. Use Detect if you expect a priority move, especially Fake Out, or a double target on Deoxys-A, as Deoxys-A tends to draw in many attacks. If using Extreme(space)Speed, it can be used to finish off weakened threats or circumvent your opponent's Speed speed control or priority attackers.

Team Options
========

Mega-Kangaskhan is a great partner, able to give Deoxys-A momentum and helps blocking stuff attacks with Fake Out easeing the to preserve Deoxys-A's Focus Sash,;(comma to semicolon) (no- comma to period instead) redirectors Pokemon with redirection moves, such as Amoonguss or Togekiss, help a lot,(AC) as they draw in hits targeted at against Deoxys-A. Since it Deoxys-A is frail, he it will be the target of spread moves many times,;(comma to semicolon) as such,(ac) Wide Guard users like such as Hitmontop and Aegislash may help him it, especially against Heatran and Sylveon. Pokemon that can stop priority such as with Quick Guard, such as Talonflame, Keldeo, (AC) or Terrakion, (AC) also work well. Aegislash is a great partner, able to take on Mega-(RH)Metagross and Jirachi, which can tank all fo of Deoxys-A's moves.

Other Options
########

Knock off Off can be considered in order to hit Choice Scarf landorus-Therian Landorus-T on a switch,(rc) so that ("that" is fine)they can't outspeed you Deoxys-A any(remove space)more, but it's pretty limited, though without it Aegislash is a hard-(remove dash) counter. Thunderbolt helps against Water-types, (RC) such as Politoed or to not and does not drop Deoxys-A's Special Attack against Keldeo, but generally Psycho Boost is a better overall option overall. Taunt might seem cool useful, but with Deoxys-A's frailness, (AC) it's better to let him it attack from the get-go. Dark Pulse could be an option to hit hard Mega Metagross, thanks to its special defense Special Defense being lower than its physical defense Defense. Substitute can be used in conjunction with Life Orb.,(ac) However, but it works badly it gets bad with Deoxys-A's Psycho Boost's special Special Attack drop, forcing a switch, and Deoxys-A tends to be double targeted most of the time; as such, majority of the times Deoxys-A would be ohkoed will usually be OHKOed as it sets up a Substitute.

Checks & Counters
########
**Typing Advantage**: Pokemon such as Cresselia or Mega Metagross can switch-(RH)in on a Psycho Boost and trouble it,(rc) Deoxys-A;(semicolon) Aegislash, Assault Vest Escavalier, (AC) and Jirachi can also switch-(remove dash) in,(rc) and threaten Deoxys-A with their STAB moves.

**Utility**: Fake Out Pokemon with Fake Out such as Hitmontop and Scrafty who can break the Deoxys-A's Focus Sash with Fake Out. Deoxys-A dislikes priority moves in general, such as particularly from Talonflame, Bisharp and Mega Kangaskhan. Feint from Hitmontop and Scizor is espeically troublesome,(ac) since they as the move bypasses Detect.

**Speed Control**: Thunder Wave from Pokemon with Prankster such as Thundurus,(rc) makes Deoxys-A almost useless,.(comma to period) Trick Room teams are very annoying, because by being slower,(AC) Deoxys-A won't get a chance to attack due to its frailness,;(comma to semicolon) Cresselia can switch in on anything and then proceed to use Thunder Wave or Trick Room to render Deoxys-A useless. Tailwind strategy works very similarly to Trick Room, (RC) with stuff Pokemon such as Suicune.

**Speed**: Anything faster than Deoxys-A is a threat. Fast Choice Scarf abusers users (never say "abuse"), such as Jolly Landorus-T or Genesect, can outspeed and threaten it Deoxys-A with U-turn, breaking the its Focus Sash. Weather abusers sweepers such as Pokemon with Swift Swim and Chlorophyll,(rc) like Mega-(remove dash) Swampert, Ludicolo,(ac) or and Kingdra in rain teams ,(ac) as well as Chlorophyll ,(ac) or Venusaur in sun teams,(ac) are also problematic under their favored weather, since as Deoxys-A is frail,(rc) and won't get to live survive even non-supereffective stab neutral STAB attacks.

Well done tehy; I will stamp this.
