With a rather large lead in points, Team 3, made by dervaations, takes the week! He'll have his team posted on the HoF page among other things. Team 1 is made by Silverwhiteblue, Team 2 by checkmater75 (wow what a surprise!), and Team 4 by thetalkingtree.

This week we'll be havin':

Terrakion. While it's a good mon, it's a bit underused; has anyone actually seen one lately? It's a mon that's good at dealing damage while also being useful for memes with its ability, Justified. Whatever you do with this guy, it should be cool tbh :^)

Remember to send entries to me, Memoric please n_n

Deadline on next Tuesday, Noon GMT+1!

Randomly thrown together Beat Up team, with Mew for extra support, and Psych Up Mega Metagross if you can get the Beat Up off safely. Gyarados for a Lando-T switch in, Choice Scarf Hoopa-U for a Lando-T check. Team doesn't do too well against Aegislash, which is why the last two members help against it. Ally Switch Mew is quite cool for helping the team avoid priority once set up.

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind

- Roost
The way the team plays is pretty simple, you keep offensive pressure with Terrakion and Entei, then use the opportunities to set-up sleep/speed control/Latias. You also use Amoonguss to neutralize important threats with Rage Powder so you can make a play to setup a win-condition.
This is a team I built because I wanted to play the Feraligtr + Entei core, the teambuilding process was pretty straightforward so I'm going to highlight Terrakion. I added Terrakion to OHKO Mega Kangaskhan and keep Heatran in check, he also helps a lot with offensive pressure and being an extra threat that you have to kill before they can kill Feraligtr.
This team is definetively not the best, but it is super fun and creative, a good player will have success with it since it gives a lot of ways to setup win conditions while not giving many opportunities for your opponent to do so, definetively not a team for beginners..

Team 3

Terrakion is nifty being able to bone a lot of mons in the 1v1 such as Kanga, Bish, Kyurem so i paired it with MMane (don't ask me why i'm using this, muh innovation) while MMane brings intimidate support and potent coverage to support Terrak. Aegi brings wide guard support and is a goggles user and bring defensive utility helping the matchup against Diancie MMeta etc. Landorus is a powerful wallbreaker able to break Mvenu Heatran and Aegi (former two mane struggles with and the latter one walls terrak n loom). Breloom is here for priority and spore whilst bringing grass/fighting coverage. Talonflame (previously gengar) was thrown on as i had no speed control, brings fire/flying coverage which helps my team break down problematic mons while also bringing twind.

Team 4

- Heat Wave
- Solar Beam
- Fire Blast
- Protect

Aegislash-Blade @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 176 HP / 252 SpA / 80 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- Wide Guard
- King's Shield

Togekiss @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 192 Def / 68 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Follow Me
- Air Slash
- Tailwind
- Protect

Whimsicott @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP / 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Protect
- Encore
- Giga Drain
How to use: Starting with leads, these should be your possible leads.
- Togekiss+Azumarill, only if Lando-T but no Charizard Y
- Togekiss+Terrakion, only if no Lando-T
- Whimsicott+Terrakion, only if no Lando-T but there is a Mega Diancie
- Aegislash+Terrakion, only if both Lando-T and Charizard Y
Then, you work to get set up. However, if there are moments where you can just get a free kill, just go for it. Don't let the opponent advance just because you wanted a Swords Dance.
After that, when your setup Pokemon's partner dies, send in either a Whimsicott or a Togekiss. Let whichever one you send out take care of anything that gets in the way of your set up mon and allow it to get the support it needs. When both Whimsicott and Togekiss are dead, send in your other set up mon that you haven't used yet and let it take care of things that are important. This generally just wins against some teams, however other teams tend to not be as easy; they require a few variations in the process in order to secure a win.

Team synergy explained: Terrakion tends to be weak to Keldeo and Mega Diancie (it doesn't like a few other things, but I focused on those first), and Whimsicott just so happens to kill both of those while also being able to do things such as lock Mega Metagros into Protect or Scrafty into Fake Out, Heatran/Kyurem-B into Substitute, Tailwind users into Tailwind, or Trick Room setters into Trick Room. Azumarill can hit a shit ton of stuff with +6 Aqua Jets, but some things like Charizard can dismantle it; Azumarill got supported very well by Terrakion, and Terrakion's Mega Diancie weakness even is lessened just by having Azumarill exist. Both Terrakion and Azumarill, however, have difficulty against Amoonguss, and Azumarill HATES Ferrothorn. Mega Charizard Y deals with these very well. Finally, even though Prankster Encore is awesome, the team is sort of weak to Trick Room, and everything except for Azumarill is weak to a relevant spread move.

Threatlist:
Mega Kangaskhan is a threat to any Azumarill team, but Azumarill can feel comfortable next to Whimsicott's Encore, Togekiss' Follow Me, and Terrakion's Close Combat.
Mega Diancie kills Togekiss, Terrakion, and Mega Charizard Y, but Azumarill and Whimsicott can score a KO pretty easily and Aegislash not only has an amazingly powerful Flash Cannon but also has Wide Guard to stop those goddamn Diamond Storms from fucking Charizard up.
Mega Metagross can score a KO on Terrakion and Whimsicott while getting a 2HKO on Togekiss, and deals heavy damage to Mega Charizard Y. It does however not like staying in on Charizard Y unless Lando-T is present and Aegislash can Wide Guard away those Rock Slides, while also carrying its own Shadow Ball to kill Metagross (if not kill, then leave it in Aqua Jet or even Giga Drain/Moonblast range).
Landorus-T poses as a huge threat to Terrakion and Charizard Y, but Aegislash can block Rock Slides and Earthquakes and Azumarill just wins against it.
Mega Gardevoir is an interesting thing to face. It gets Hyper Voices blocked by Aegislash, but after Aegislash is dead there's not much stopping it from demolishing the team. You can lead Azumarill+Togekiss against this and Protect+suicide Tailwind, then send out Terrakion if Azumarill got Intimidated and Rock Slide+Play Rough to KO, or just SD+Play Rough KO. Azumarill+Aegislash also works, if you set up Belly Drum while under Wide Guard said user of Mega Gardevoir will hate you.

Final notes: This is hella perish trap weak.

I should also get an award for building a good team with Terrakion+Whimsicott without beat up.

Team 5

Terrakion @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Slide
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Protect

Hippowdon @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

- Roar
- Protect

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Psychic
- Roost
- Protect

Cradily @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Toxic
- Stockpile
- Pain Split

Magmortar @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Overheat
- Will-O-Wisp
- Follow Me
- Protect

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Knock Off
- Protect
Terrakion benefits a lot from sand provided by Hippowdon because its SpD is increased by 50% so it can stay alive longer. I went with Hippo rather than Tyranitar because Hippo has less weaknesses and it can support the rest of the team with stealth rocks and roar to remove threats. It holds Sitrus Berry and is all bulk to allow me to use it longer also to use it to take hits. I wanted a ground immunity and someone to take deal with Keldeo so went with Latios. I use roost because sand and life orb damage takes a toll on it. Cradily is awesome support for Terrakion, Hippo, and Magmortar with its storm drain ability. Like Terrakion, Cradily also benefits from the 50% increase in SpD so all its EVs went into HP and Def. Cradilys bulklyness in sand with giga drain, toxic, stock pile, and pain split allow it to stall out many threats to the rest of the team. Magmortar is another support to Terrakion. Like Cradilly redirects water, Magmortar redirects grass and steel threats with follow me. It also offers Wil o Wisp support and Overheat to take out Aegislash, Jirachi, and other steel types who give my other teammates problems. Mega Scizor rounds out this team nicely. He doesn’t take sand damage, takes out redirectors like Amoongus, Jirachi, and Toegkiss. Terrakion also does not like wide guard uses so I have knock off to deal with Aegislash and bullet punch deals with the fastest mega Aerodactyl. This team has lots of power to sweep but also the ability to weather long battles with stealth rocks, sand, toxic, will o wisp, recover moves, and bulky.

mfw I forgot about this, oops :(!

Anyways, with a close lead, Team 2 by Roxer takes the week! He'll have his team posted on the HoF page among other things. Team 1 is made by Yoda2798, Team 3 by manga team, Team 4 by It Is Guest, and Team 5 by n1n1.

For this week, we'll be havin':

Mamoswine. With this guy, offense is the name of the game; while it has great coverage with its STABs alone, it also offers little in terms of defensive synergy. Stay frosty,,,

MAMOPIG is actually super cool, but really awkward to use well; you basically need heavy speed control to get the most out of it but you still have to drop a really good move no matter what set you use (you can't use all of EQ, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Superpower, a Rock move, and Protect on one set). I expect to see a lot of Latios and Rotom-W here tbh
