Now one mon that I know fits beside Mamoswine well is Charizard-Y, Mamoswine's ability to get rid of the Genies + Heatran really compliments Charizard, and the latter's Flying type allows Mamoswine to spam EQ as much as it wants, it also beats most Water types that give Mamoswine trouble.

For the third mon I wanted something to take on Rock Slide spammers, Trick Room and maybe make it a Kangaskhan switch-in. Aegislash fit that description pretty well, as it can Wide Guard to stop any spread, switch-in kangaskhan and it beats trick room pretty well. Also making it Safety Goggles gave me an Amoonguss and sleep in general switch-in. It also beats Diancie, which would bring the team some trouble. I'm using Rocky Helmet to better my kang matchup.

After that I definetively wanted some redirection that can beat Water types in general. Obviously Amoonguss came up, it was a great choice because it helps Charizard-Y spam Heat Wave and it pairs great with Mamoswine, also freeing him up to spam LO Icicle Crash, which hits like a truck. It helps with Diancie, as having only one check against it is pretty bad.

Then I wanted a an Electric type to help with my matchup against sun + speed control. I chose Thundurus because it provides targetted speed control and Taunt, which is better for this team than Tailwind and maybe a screen that Zapdos would provide.

As for my last mon, I wanted a Fighting type to resist Rock, kill Heatran, kill Kang and if possible prirority. My team's typing synergy was good enough that I could use any fighting type really, but I chose Hitmontop over all other because 1. Fake out and Intimidate support 2. Helping Hand to help spammers spam. My set is very eccentric, but it works. The set looks standard up until Mach Punch and my offensive Item and EV spread. I wanted to run Mach Punch to help the team clan up leftover kills when Mamoswine isnt available, consequently, I had to run an offensive spread and Life Orb.

The sets are all standard, I chose Adamant Mamoswine to OHKO Landorus-T at -1 with Ice Shard, it also deals a bunch to Latios and Hydreigon.

Just a cool squad that was thrown together besides scarf mamoswine. Mega charizard Y really pairs well with mamoswine, for EQ+Heatwave synergy, mamo beating things like zapdos, superpowers kanga, eq heatran, bops latios and dragons and terrakion, and charizard just does the rest tbh, so they are very hard to wall. Team slighty lacked preparations for heatran, so hp ground in case its with venu. Venu is a very offensive variant in this team, with heatah solarbeam for those expecting to barely live a giga. If you can get a growth in the sun (since +2), your gold. Coba berry lure talon to strike, and lose to a sludge + heat wave, plus its nice when talon's partner forces venu to stay in. Rotom wash does a lot for this team, such as beat rotom-heat, landorus, heatran, zapdos, most sun checks, and is a reliable switch. hydreislash is cool, filling dragon and steel. this team dislikes rock slide, heatwaves, muddy water, spread really, so wide guard helps. this is lo aegi, but u can put WP. Hydrei has tailwind since i somehow hit mediocre speeds, rest is standard

Due to Mamoswine's great synergy with Mega Charizard Y, I decided to build a sun team around it. Standard set, with Overheat being especially useful against both Mega Kangaskhan and Wide Guard Aegislash. As per usual, the standard Venusaur accompanies Charizard to provide fast offensive support.

I used Life Orb Mamoswine to take of advantage of Tailwind, while also meaning it hits harder. Jolly nature is used to outspeed the vital 263 speed tier, meaning that as well as hitting Kyurem-B first, it can also outspeed and OHKO bulky Charizards (the rare super bulky spread EVed for Lando-T Rock Slide is a 63% roll though). You can use Superpower over Rock Slide if you want another way to KO Mega Kangaskhan (it's a roll though, so going Adamant guarantees, while also giving a roll on Kyurem-B).

Bulky Zapdos provides Tailwind support and a Talonflame check. Sitrus Berry is used to help provide longevity since the team does need speed control to function properly and help against opposing rain teams, however Rocky Helmet can be used if you want more help against Mega Kangaskhan.

Heatran provides a bulky Steel-type which can take on Talonflame, and helps immensely against Trick Room teams. It can also beat opposing Heatran and Aegislash, which helps out the Charizard and Venusaur.

Lucario seems like an odd pick, but helps the team patch up its weaknesses to Mega Kangaskhan through Close Combat (you outspeed Adamant Kang, plus can ignore Fake Out with Inner Focus), Mega Diancie through a priority Bullet Punch, and Talonflame through Quick Guard.

Overall, the team is still weak in ways to opposing rain teams, and doesn't appreciate facing up against a Mega Diancie + Talonflame combination. Swapping out Heatran and Lucario for Aegislash and Latios would help both of these problems, however in reality this would end up as Stratos sun, as Lando-T would outclass Mamoswine heavily for the Intimidate support it provides against the likes of Mega Kangaskhan and Talonflame.

I started off with life orb Mamo because I've used scarf in the past and it was lackluster to say the least and I don't think assault vest is very good either lol. I wanted something that had speed control to support my pig so I chose Latias. The idea was that Latias out speeds, speed ties, or takes a hit from a lot of the things that can out speed and ohko Mamoswine(Terrakion, Serperior, Ludicolo, Metagross, Kingdra, Kangaskhan, Blaziken to name some of the things that come to mind n_n)so it can tailwind and Mamo out speeds/ohkos all of those things straight up or with the help of helping hand. Latias also is immune to earthquake and can handle Rotom-W which can really limit Mamo's effectiveness. Haban was originally for Kingdra in rain which I am extremely weak to but it's also for guaranteeing that I beat Latios. Next mon is Charizard-Y because it can beat Ferrothorn, helps out vs rain, and Mamo + Haban Latias support it extremely well. Looking at my team so far I realize i'm so fucking weak to Diancie and Talonflame so I added a wide guard Aerodactly lol. I originally had smack down>rock slide to catch Rotom-W if I had Mamo and Aerodactly out which just invites the washing machine in but sadly smack down can't ohko bulky Char-Y(flinches are also very nice). Taunt is for stopping things from subbing (Cube isn't a problem but Aegislash and Heatran g_g they get subs on Jirachi and Latias all day) and stopping trick room which I don't have much for. Next mon is Jirachi to help with the Diancie weakness, have something to combat spore, help with the Talon weakness by redirecting so Latias or Mamo can kill if something happens to Aerodactly, and a decent enough Kangaskhan switch in. Looking at my team so far I need a mon with these qualities: can't be dead weight vs Heatran(preferably something that ohkos it), can ohko Kangaskhan, can beat Rotom-W, does big damage to ass vest Ludicolo, and it has to help out vs trick room. So I picked superpower>mach punch Breloom because it does all that shit. That's the team :p

what the evs do:
Latias- lives helping hand life orb draco meteor from Kingdra
Charizard- lives jolly return from Kangaskhan, out speeds max speed base 70's
Jirachi- lives heat wave from 252 modest Charizard-Y in sun, lives adamant life orb sucker punch from Bisharp so I can flinch that shit down, out speeds all non speed boosting nature base 70's

Triple Weather Semi Room. Rain, Sand and Hail. This team is pretty bad but you will have fun with it and can win some battles. Mew provides Trick Room, where Mega Abomasnow functions best. But with two Ice Shard users and Twave Thundy you can win out side of Trick Room as well. Mew provides Will o Wisp and Fake Out support as well, plus Transform can turn out to be really clutch. I dispise Twave + Swagger Thundy but a team like this needs that kind of support. Rain dance is only for decreasing Fire damage and to heal Tenticruel with its Rain Dish ability. Tenticruel is a pretty cool pokemon, knock off just for support and a bit of coverage; Scald is the main stab in rain and Sludge Bomb is there to deal with those who resist water and fairies. Left overs on Tenticruel along with Rain dish Helps it heal up. Hippodons' sand provides nothing but its safe for Mamoswine to be in. Roar on Hippowdon removes threats. Mamoswine benefits a bit from reduce Fire damage in rain I guess, but its still weak to every other type. It likes TR to beat kang with Superpower and use Earthquake

This centers around priority spam, and when it doesn't excel with priority spam it sets Tailwind and kills things. In order to cover up for its apparent Trick Room weakness, I have Trickscarf Rotom-W and Amoonguss, as well as the aformentioned priority spam. My biggest fear with this team is Rotom-Wash purely because it burns Mawile and Mamoswine while only getting hit by Amoonguss, Hydreigon, and sort of by Volcarona (a small tech just to hit it). There's very little to this team tbh.

End of voting on Saturday Noon, GMT+1!

Team 2 looks good, but the Venusaur set really sold it for me. Would personally recommend on Aegislash going either absolute min speed or enough speed for base 110s under Tailwind (first option helps with the TR matchup, second option helps you beat Diancie and also Latios easier).

how do Teambuilding Novice and Teambuilding Expert really work? if you win a week after week 19, do you get both?

With a solid lead in votes, Team 2 by Silverwhiteblue wins the week! Runner-up for this week is Team 4 by deoxys speed! The other teams are: 1 by Roxer, 3 by Yoda2798, 5 by n1n1, and 6 by It Is Guest.

For this week, the mon is:

Mega Lucario. Woof woof. Boasting solid offensive stats, Adaptability along with a strong STAB move in Close Combat, and high Speed which lets it outrun a good portion of the meta, including the heralded base 110+ Speed tier, Mega Lucario is a force offensively. It's a liability defensively though, Steel-type and all, as it's very frail and thus can't take much hits. A set known to be good on it is Mixed Substitute, but whatever you guys do with this dog, it should be cool #tbh :^)

Deadline on Thursday, noon GMT+1 :)!
