Matame wins this week, congrats : )

This week, we're having Infernape. Infernape's a nifty fast attacker with access to strong STAB attacks and a nifty assortment of support moves, most notably Fake Out but also including Encore and Feint. It's really frail and its attacking stats are a bit lacking, however!

Deadline on Friday GMT noon! :pimp:

this is one of the teams i built like last week for seasonals against level 51 where i choked/threw idk all i know is that the replay gives me hemorrhoids. i knew i wanted to use diancie+aegislash bc his teams were pretty weak to that. being the innovative player that i am i went to the doubles spl teams/replays thread because i knew qsns had a team that i liked that comprised of diancie/aegislash/rotom-w/landorus/volcarona/scrafty. i dont like using volcarona with just wide guard support(or i didnt like it in this particular team) and i dont like double intimidate bc im paranoid of milotic from bad ladder experiences so i picked the mon that is basically volc+scrafty, infernape. hydreigon gave me some speed control and completed the illustrious dragon steel fairy core. i have sub on diancie because i used to have hp fire(lol) but qsns told me thats trash and sub would be cool and i listen to everything qsns says because hes amazing and everyone should listen to him. aegislash takes 2 -1 earthquakes from lando and my lando takes 2 life orb brave birds from talon and a +1 sucker from bisharp, pretty relevant stuff. oh i have sash on infernape because i really wanted it lol and i figured with diancie and scarf lando i would get the chip i needed to KO with close combat. lastly i have knock on lando and twave rotom because latios is scary.

Started out with Life Orb Infernape. It scores a lot of nice koes like aegi, kyube, amoonguss, kang ect ect. What sets it apart from Blaziken is its increased utility in the form of fake out and feint, which can be of much assistance to many teams for setting up/offensive pressure and such. Added bulky thund as a form of speed control (and hax :3). Taunt serves as a much needed trick room check. THunderbolt does reasonable damage to bulky waters and HP ice allows thundey to check Landorus. I added Mega Gyara and Aegi next. I liked the idea of ape + Ddance gyarados as it adds alot of offensive pressure. Ape destroys potential walls like amoong and fakes out threats while gyara sets up. I opted for stone edge because my sun matchup is pretty iffy without it. Added Aegislash for wide guard support and as a way to soft check trick room. Weakness policy is a cool set that can gravely threaten unprepared teams. Added amoong because Gyara really appreciates the redirection. Offers cool type synergy and can shut down threats with spore. Added kyube as an additional way to deal with amoonguss and genies, which mega gyara is not fond of.

This is a team I built around Diancie, Azumarill and Infernape that I think is kinda cool. I added Hydreigon to the core to help vs Aegislash and Volcanion adn provide a ground immunity for the team. Thundurus helps the team by providing speed control, another ground immunity and helping vs Landorus and waters. Lastly I added Jirachi beacause Azumarill and Diancie both benefit greatly from redirection.

When Matame and I sat down over a veil dinner to talk Infernape, we came to the conclusion that an Infernape team is strong in it's momentum throughout the game. What builds momentum quicker than Fake Out + QD? And with Volcarona being an additional fire, we had to settle with Venomoth. Anyways, Tinted Lens gives it at least neutral coverage against almost everything, except for some things that Infernape can slaughter anyways. Suicune was a good addition, and Manectric was added because I needed an Electric, a Mega, and Volt Switch helps build momentum quickly. Amoonguss redirects for Venomoth to sweep or Infernape/Ttar to pick up kills, and Ttar is there because I needed a Landorus-T that could perform a particular task that I already forgot. Edit: okay hes there because I didn't wanna be too weak to weather i remember now

kamikaze and i made this during out tutoring days :) it was about a fairy+fire core, and how infernape has a nice niche with diancie or gardevoir, and thus the team was made.
gardevoir has taunt because its not expected and is nice vs trick room setters with goggles. speed hits 240, which i think beats non positif nature base 70s 252 speed. i think the extra bulk is for its initial tailwind purpose, thus less speed.
aegislash seriously helps vs rock types, and rock slide with wide guard because they are a huge problem to this team, plus a reliable strong steel type.
zapdos is a support tailwind provider, helps deal with landorus-t, and is a nice switch in to many things
gyarados provides intimidate, which helps our slightly bulky gardevoir a lot. double taunt because i love that :P thunder wave is to compensate the team's slight lacking in speed, and stone edge is to hit charizard because its quite annoying to this team
the pokemon of the week. encore isnt too expected on infernape and thus causes very annoying effects to your opponent, which we all know. the rest of its moveset is somewhat standard, mixed so that intimidate doesnt get the best of you.

Built this team a long while back around the idea of Mega Gar+Infernape, something I was really liking against Bunnies. After that, I added kyube to beat lando, tran, and thund. At this point, I started originally with bulky washtom and scarf lando as general checks to stuff like diancie/talon/zard, but decided to switch it up and go with explosion lando+volt switch washtom for momentum. Explosion lando helps out a ton to get free switches early game, or clean late-game with EQ+stone edge. I didn't feel like I needed superpower much considering I had Mega Gar, ferro, and nape for kang. Ferro was the last mon added, working as the draco/HV switch-in, another wincon, and generally providing support with leech seed+sitting there.

we decided to build around infernape and mega sharpedo as they had inSANE coverage together. infernape hits what sharpedo struggles with (grasses) and sharpedo hits what infernape struggles with (idk). we gave infernape mach punch because otherwise you just click x vs bisharp. im not sure what the spreads on either of these pokemon do but qwilfish filled them in
obviously we needed a grass-type and upon discovering mega sharpedo gets blizzard, we could not resist building with abomasnow.
afterwards, we felt like abomasnow was not a sufficient check to water-types that this team struggled with. in order to beat pokemon such as volcanion we added thundurus. it also provides nice speed control with thunder wave. ofcourse we added swagger because lord qwilfish is german (lol) and volt switch in order to make this a proper fucking voltswitch team.
i dont know why we added latios specifically but i think it might've been because tailwind is always good, dragons are always good, and we needed something to beat fighting types
lastly, we added scarf jirachi. which could provide nice speed control with iron head and heart stamp and had nice access to healing wish, so we could keep our mega sharpedo alive for as long as possible.

formerly we had safety goggles aegislash on the team, but we deemed it too serious and it didnt have 100% flinches like jirachi does. also we have a good switch in to sleep with abomasnow (its not a good switch in)

we also had life orb blissey which was inspired by derivations' game vs shrop in seasonals. we deemed it too unserious and we needed an actual serious pokemon, such as latios

anyway, if you liked it please drop a like! if you like chloe grace moretz, drop a like! if u dont, drop a like!

psa i will send u chloe grace moretz gifs if you vote for us

Nido-Rus is our week's winner, congrats!

This week:

Bronzong is a very cute weather bell. It's also a Steel-type that's been generating hype as of late due to its nifty typing and ability to set Trick Room. It does face heavy comparisons to Jirachi, but its ability, Levitate, does give it somewhat of an edge, giving it a key immunity to Ground. It's also a very cute weather bell.

Deadline on Friday GMT noon! Also, please don't be too excessive with the dumbshit please :|

Ok so I chose Imprison Bronzong so that I could sit down with my faster Mega Kangaskhan and click Return against other trick room teams.
edit: I forgot to explain my spread: I live adamant LO Talonflame Flare Blitz from full, and I run colbur berry because of bisharp and hydreigon outspeeding my shit
Talonflame is quick guard to stop things like sucker from an opposing kanga and brave bird from jolly talon while i'm under trick room; adamant talonflame because i'm running trick room you losers
Abomasnow uses a spread that I've used literally everytime I use abomasnow since I used that blissey team. I don't know what it does at all.
Lapras because at the time of adding it I was really weather weak. Lapras helps a lot against like rain and somewhat against sun. I chose Freeze-Dry so that I could fuck up rain waters and gyara really well.
Mega Kangaskhan has pup+return+fake out+sucker, obviously. I outspeed jolly (I guess now we can sort of say timid as well now) base 70s with a max HP investment and the rest in atk. This is so that I'm still faster than other tr kangas, so I can Imprison with zong and Return them to death if I want.
I like sub scrafty. This takes almost bad teams and pushes them into the realm of bad (tr hail doesnt enjoy this, especially after losing a fairy/talon, and hoopa-u+gothitelle gets buttfucked by it) but it has little application outside of that really. Also if I think they're gonna like double protect or something I can pull out this shit and blow their minds o_o

Built this with Nido a while back with the idea that Sunny Day support from Bronzong + Mega Camerupt = lol where'd you go. Also provides TR support and LO Gyro Ball / Zen Headbutt hit respectably hard, Zen Headbutt OHKOs Keldeo more than half the time and always knocks it out after LO recoil. Jellicent provides another way to set up TR and it's Fake Out immune and absorbs Water-type moves for the Camel. Conk for Wide Guard + Power, Shiftry completes the F/W/G core and works as a pretty great lead with Jelli - turn one you Fake Out + set TR, turn two you attack something with Leaf Storm or Knock Off + recover, turn three you Explode lol. Talonflame rounds the team out, taking care of Amoonguss and random priority using its Sucker Punch.

All in all, a very offensive SunRoom team. Not the most consistent of teams, but definitely fun and in the right matchups it does extremely well. Don't ask me what the spreads do because I built this a while ago but I haven't had any problems with them so I guess they were good?

I built this around Volcanion + Zong which THE KyleCole was raving about and I thought it sounded pretty cool. Metal Sound is dank af and lets spread heat wave just chunk everything. Kang with Hammer Arm was really fun and I didn't feel like Garde really fit what I had in mind. Hoopa-U alongside Volcanion has some pretty fun synergy and can reset Trick Room. Hydra checks opposing fires and can sorta check bisharp which is problematic. Amoongus is some glue for the team so it doesn't lose to Keldeo or opposing Kang/Diancie. Fun team though

I don't really like Bronzong much but heres a cool team I made. Started off with Mega-Abomasnow because I like spamming Blizzard and its a good mon under Trick Room. Diancie was added as a TR setter and helped beat Talonflame, Charizard. Volcanion was added to beat fire and rock types and had good synergy with the previous mons. I added Scrafty and Bronzong for Fake Out and a second Trick Room setter. Lastly Talonflame was added for Quick Guard support and to help with opposing fighting-types.
