It was a spread-out vote, but Nido-Rus takes this week with 4 votes, congrats!

This week, we're building around Conkeldurr. With its high Attack and low Speed, Conkeldurr is a strong Fighting-type attacker that can thrive in Trick Room. It also possesses good bulk, which lets it function even outside of Trick Room. It boasts a good move pool consisting of neat attacking options in Hammer Arm, Mach Punch, Knock Off, and Ice Punch and a good support move in Wide Guard. Conkeldurr can also make good use of two of its abilities in Iron Fist and Guts, the former boosts its punch attacks, including Hammer Arm, to more dangerous levels and the latter lets it take advantage of status.

Deadline is on Friday GMT moon!

e: extending to Saturday GMT noon bc fam,,,

Built this with n10sit, with the idea behind the team being to use team preview against the opponent. From first glance, it appears to be a team built around Mega Garde + QD Volc, with Jirachi as a redirector. Instead, we have Mega Garde + DD Gyara, with Volc as the redirector, and Choice Scarf Jirachi. Added Conkeldurr for Wide Guard support and the team's resident handler of Mega Kangaskhan, then Raikou for an improved Thundurus matchup, as well as a secondary answer to Keldeo and Mega Diancie.

Going quickly through sets / spreads: Mega Garde has HP Ground since Heatran is always a pain, 8/4 survives Lando-I Sludge Bomb given the lowered SpD IVs. Encore could work over HP Ground, but in testing Heatran was more annoying and we didn't end up clicking Encore much. Volcarona has Tailwind and we just took the EVs from OO on the analysis, which outspeeds Breloom and probably does some other stuff but I can't figure it out. The EVs have never let either of us down so eh. Gyarados is 252+ speed to outspeed Adamant Scarf Lando-T at +1, and although I could use Life Orb > Safety Goggles for the guaranteed OHKO, the team otherwise has no Spore switchins. Conkeldurr is a really funny set that n10sit came up with - the speed investment outspeeds Mega Kang when under Tailwind so you can just go for a Drain Punch and knock it out. Then we took it a step further and just made it outspeed Thundurus under Tailwind because we couldn't find any bulk benchmarks between those two spreads and outrunning fast Aegis is hilarious. Jirachi has Heart Stamp > Zen Headbutt because flinches are fantastic and missing is not, and we gave Raikou HP Steel because Mega Diancie is super annoying and our Jirachi has no bulk.

Submitting in behalf of MajorBowMan / TFC, since this is practically their team with my personal touches to the team. It's a semi sun room team with Eruptran. Conkeldurr plays a critical role in disposing annoying threats to Fire spam by taking out Landorus-T and dragons with Ice Punch and disposing Water-types, Tyranitar, Kangaskhan, and opposing Heatran with Hammer Arm. What makes Conkeldurr so great compared to Scrafty is its strong priority Mach Punch, which helps apply offensive pressure even outside of TR. Fire spam in turn helps remove Psychic, Fairy, and Aegislash to facilitate Conkeldurr's rampage under TR. This team is pretty much filled with strong nukes with nice complementary offensive typing, showering Heat Waves, Draco Meteors, & Earthquakes outside of TR and pummeling the opponent with Eruptions & Conkeldurr's fists under TR.

Jirachi is a glue to the team and one of the best support partner for Conkeldurr, providing Trick Room & Follow Me support. Latios's fourth move is rather filler, but I figured having a back up Sunny Day would be best in a Sun semiroom team, although I've never actually used the move yet. Speaking of unused moves, Conkeldurr has Wide Guard, but I find myself wishing it had Detect more often than not (so it isn't left exposed when Jirachi is setting up TR).

I started with Conk (obviously) and Charizard, because Conk beats Heatran and provides Wide Guard support while Conk while Zard X beats Amoonguss and Kube. Originally I was going to use Zard Y but then I changed to Zard X since it's so much cooler and Zard Y is basic (s/o Lana). I wanted redirection support to let Charizard set up more easily so I picked Jirachi. I chose it instead of Amoonguss to improve my Talonflame matchup a tad and I also like to have a bulky Steel-type on all of my teams. I was pretty weak to Landorus and Talonflame at this point so I added Washtom. I'm running TWave here so I can provide meaningful support besides just crippling physical attackers. The EV spread OHKOs 8 HP Landot with Hydro Pump and lives Hydreigon's Draco Meteor, with the rest in Defense. I added Gengar to improve my matchup against Landorus further and also check Amoonguss and Kangaskhan. Finally I added a Landorus of my own since I had two Ground immunities and why the fuck not. The EV spread lives A +1 Sucker Punch from Bisharp and outspeeds Mega Gengar. (all the other EV spreads are from the dex btw)

I was running Ice Punch on my Conkeldurr previously, but if you're up against a Landorus you're probably better of using Wide Guard. I changed Ice Punch to Knock Off so I can handle Aegislash better. On Gengar you can run Icy Wind over Protect if you prefer, but I like Protect to prevent getting hit by Scrappy Kangaskhan's Fake Out. You can run Will-o on Rotom if you're basic, but otherwise there aren't a whole lot of other options for the team.

doing what pocket did , as BreloomMyHomie made me this team when i was his blt teammate. its got very untraditional slaped on it, but not too much . its a pretty fun team, as taunt hydreigon isn't seen coming, which is quite useful to stop a suicune tailwinding for example, or reading a breloom spore well, etc. conkeldurr already has very strong attack, hp and defense, so with spdef, it makes it a very solid pokemon, litterally :P rock slide deals with charizard y, and if you can be gutsy, like conkeldurr ! (im so bad) and stay in on a talonflame with a predict (or mostly luck tbh), its a nice surprise...for you ! enjoy, and thank you ! especially you tsb
