Hey Guys my names Sabella some of you may know me as Booty. Ive been playing monotype for about 2 years now. I took about an 8 month break to practice Ou more but I have made my damn glorious return to Monotype. With my glorious return I have brought 2 amazing teams but I will be giving you only one today. So with my epic comeback I had to make a team to dominate the rest of the meta. With this in mind I give you Drifting, a mono flying team that I had made over the summer of 2015. It still is in my eyes the best flying team to ever grace monotype. I usually dont hype up teams to often although I do have a pretty solid nack for building in this tier, some refer to me as the ever so talented CTC of Monotype or even the Tele of monotype because of my love for clicking recovery moves and my use of ungeneric pokemon/sets on my teams. Without stalling anymore I give you the best monotype you may ever use.

Breakdown
Laxuys Daddy issues (Charizard-Mega-Y) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Roost/Substitute
- Focus Blast
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
After Zard X ban this seemed like the only logical mega. A complete wallbreaker to rip through almost all balanced teams. It is a stopper to the ever popular water and ground teams with drought and great coverage moves for steel and dark. Fire Blasts roasts all switch ins, focus blast is for heatran mainly and solar beam for ground types like gastrodon and bulky waters. Charizard also does a mean number vs ice as it only hits zard neutrally. Roost for recover and Substitute can also be used to avoid status and clean better vs balance.
RAGE (Dragonite) @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Next I chose dragonite. Much like the ever talented Soma i also love clicking outrage and spamming banded items on dragons. Dragonite is my second wallbreaker to spam outrage vs all specially bulky pokemon that charizard cant break through, like chansey. It also works as a great fire resist and helps check volcrona. I cant stress how important it can be to know when you have to save Multiscale. Vs types like ice it can be extremely crucial. Extremespeed is great for late game sweeping and for much needed priority on a somewhat slow team. Fire punch is to hit skarmory and ferrothorn while eq is to hit heatran and other steel types. Ice punch or iron head could be used over earthquake but this is the best set in my eyes.

Next i will show you my favorite part of this team, Your girls favorite nigga. Sd gliscor is great for all those annoying bulky teams that also seem to have wallbreakers. Gliscor can be so hard to kill at times so this set really puts in work vs alot of passive teams like normal. Earthquake is the main stab hitting everything on steel but skarmory swords dance to boost against passive mons like chansey and clefable. Gliscor is also a great check to Diance while also hitting fairy extremely hard as nothing on fairy switches into eq and icefang/facade. This makes hp fire diance such passive threat to flying. This is totally your win con during that match. 56 speeds evs for adamant bisharp, timid specs magnezone and breelom. Ice fang also hits flying types like mega pidgeot, zapdos and mandibuzz.

HAHA choice scarf Togekiss my Favorite fucking meme. Scarf togekiss is great revenge killer and a way to add speed to a slow team. It helps wear garchomp down which is a threatening wallbreaker to flying while also checking dragons with its fairy typing. It can revenge kill most non scarf dragons with dazzling gleam. It also can weaken bisharp down a solid amount and check weavile if toge is healthy. Trick is to disable normal teams and defog is there for fast hazard removal
L0L WoA (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 152 SpD / 108 Spe

Zapdos functions an amazing roll as a pivot pokemon while also being a defogger. I speed creep jolly bisharp, breelom and very importantly cloyster with my spread. This is my main water switch in which is a bit weak but can pivot out and get me in good situations with either charizard or dragonite. This is my second source of hazard removal and my second main check to offensive mega scizor which after rocks cans be a huge threat to my team if not for this guy. it also checks most steel mons well and importantly gives a pretty slow team a way to get momentum back. Zapdos also can switch into almost all electric attacks patching up the electric weakness for this team.

Everyones fav punching bag. This is a secondary Mega Diance check and Terrakion check. Even though Im usually focusing on keeping hazards of the feild there are times where hazards can help win the game. Skarm is my 5th pokemon with roost essentially making me Tele of monotype. Whirlwind phases out set up sweepers. Roost for recovery, Stealth rocks are essential and spikes can be used for stacking iron head for the ever rare rock monos and to hit diance and terrakion easily. Defog for a third defogger cuz rocks are gay and taunt for stallbreaking. Skarm is the main check for rock types along with gliscor. It also patches up weakness to ice moves on the physical side checking mamoswine and excadrill near perfectly.
Conclusion
This now rounds out my cancerous team of recovery birds. I debated RMTing this team for a very long time frankly because I didnt think yall were worthy nor did I want this being passed around like a dirty High School Slut. Threat List
Now while I like to consider this team nearly perfect it does have a few flaws which smogon does make me point out so I will give you a good look at what can potentially beat this team.
Big black can deff punch holes in this team. With its amazing bolt beam coverage you have to nearly win every 50/50 vs this pokemon and play very offensively vs dragon so that u can damage all its teamates.
Opposing Charizard Y can be very trouble some as I can only switch dragonite in so many times before it is completely worn down.
With stealth rocks up vs offensive fighting specs Keldeo can also be a huge threat as rocks take 25% from both zapdos and dragonite nulling out its multiscale. Specs Hydro pump after rocks 2hkos most of the team. Try and lead with toge to flinch before they can get rocks on the feild.
The final Threat. Taunt DD mega gyara is actually a massive threat setting up all over skarmory and gliscor. At full health Zapdos can check this but with a weakned team mega gyara poses a huge threat.
I wont lie this thing fucks me up. She is the Queen of fucking up Balance and she does just that vs this team. She does 50 to me resists with awesome coverage and taunt to stop me from being tele for a couple of seconds. Hopefully you can flinch it down or win the speed tie with zard =).
Now while I like to consider this team nearly perfect it does have a few flaws which smogon does make me point out so I will give you a good look at what can potentially beat this team.
