Yeah. I got bored and i made this strange team. I think it's really cute by the way. c:
So, let's start!
Suarez (Heatran) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flame Charge/Fire Fang
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Explosion/Stone Edge
After an accurate revision on my team, i've noticed that it was too weak to Talonflame and Mega Charizard X, so i replaced the almighty Mawile with this guy over there.
Heatran is always used as a Scarf special sweeper or as a staller/annoyer with thingies like Stealth Rock, Toxic, WoW, Protect, etc. So, the Band feature gives him an unexpected moveset that can easily sweep if used the right way. You can prefer Flame Charge over Fire Fang because of the little boost in Speed, and Stone Edge over Explosion for Talonflames.
Landia (Charizard) (M) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost
- Substitute
- Flamethrower
A Sun team can't be a Sun team without Charizard Y. But we always saw him as a sweeper, often special, but sometimes also mixed. So, why not using him with this stall moveset? Since it's highly unextpected, you have the surprise factor, and burning physical sweepers can only be a good thing, since the 6th gen brought in the metagame a whole bunch of them.
Whispy Woods (Trevenant) (M) @ Salac Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Horn Leech
- Phantom Force
- Earthquake
Hihihi. This guy can really be a monster if used correctly with Charizard. The dragon will burn the occasional physical sweeper, who probably won't OHKO Trevenant, and instead leaving him with a little bit of HP, the necessary to activate the Salac Berry. Because of Harvest's 100% chance to regain the berry under Charizard's sun, Trevenant will raise his speed by 2, and then will sweep with his strong physical moves, also regaining health with Horn Leech. Substitute was switched with Protect to let Trevenant boost his Speed to 4 thanks to the Sun and Harvest.
The only problem with this set are priorities...
I changed Liechi Berry to Salac Berry because of Trevenant's horrible speed...
Mecha Zoidberg (Scizor) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 SpD
- Morning Sun
- Defog
- Silver Wind
- Vacuum Wave
Don't even try to laugh at this set, because you're going to cry if it's used correctly against you. Morning Sun is an excellent recovery move, and it's prefered over Roost because of the Sun. Defog is necessary because of Charizard's weakness to the Stealth Rocks. Silver Wind is totally unexpected, it's boosted by STAB, Techinchian and Life Orb and has a little chance to boost you, which is really a nice thingy, if it happens. Vacuum Wave is just the necessary priority move, nothing special to say about it.
u got cherrim'ed (Cherrim) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Gift
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Substitute
- Solar Beam
- Leech Seed
- Synthesis
There it is. The king of the Sun teams. Cherrim is an understimated but really strong Pokèmon, if he's used correctly. Flower Gift boosts his Special Defense and makes him a really good special wall, with Synthesis and Solar Beam to be used in combo with the sun. Leech Seed and Substitute are both self-explanatory.
Toilet Paper Foxy (Ninetales) (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Psyshock
- SolarBeam
- Dark Pulse
And finally, the last member of the team! Ninetales is the second thing that can't be out of a sun team.
But since there are different sets for him (Staller, SubSweeper) i decided to make a new and cute one. Specs. The whole set is self-explanatory.
Here's the whole team, for who wants to rip it:
