The match begins as Eternal Drifter sends out Hope-Chimecho, followed by MrcRanger sending out Libra-Lucario, who causes a Rock Slide above its foe. Chimecho doesn't seem bothered by this, though, and sends out a Wave of Psychic energy toward its attacker, although it doesn't seem to do much damage. Lucario then Punches Chimecho with an Icy fist, but Chimecho ignores this as it looks into the Future and catches a glimpse of what will come, leaving it completely unaware of and unable to defend itself from another Rock Slide that Lucario causes above it, causing it to flinch back and forget what it was ordered to do.

Lucario sends a Pulse of Dark energy at its foe, scoring a direct hit, but Chimecho then lifts its attacker into the air and slams it into the ground using its Psychic powers as the attack it foresaw manifests as a burst of telekinetic energy around Lucario, who takes considerable damage from the attacks. Lucario then slashes at Chimecho, who is preoccupied with a second glimpse into the Future, with Shadowy Claws before sending another Dark Pulse at it, taking away a sizable amount of Chimecho's health, but then is attacked by a Wave of Psychic energy from Chimecho.

Lucario slashes at its foe with Shadow Claws, but Chimecho doesn't seem to mind this as it launches its attacker with a massive amount of Psychic energy coupled with a foresaw attack that causes a burst of psychic power centered on Lucario, dealing massive damage. Lucario manages to recover, though, and fires a Pulse of Dark energy at Chimecho, who has to rest after its previous attack; however Chimecho manages to recover in time to create a Protective barrier to block a second Dark Pulse that Lucario launches with incredible speed and force, which explodes harmlessly on impact with the barrier.
