Choice Specs Latios is a dangerous wallbreaker thanks to its good Speed tier, array of high-powered options, and solid coverage to hit potential checks. Luster Purge obliterates Fighting- and Poison-types like Great Tusk, Iron Hands, and Toxapex for teammates like Roaring Moon. Its Special Defense drop chance also allows Latios to take on neutral targets like Clefable. Thunderbolt hits bulky Flying- and Water-types like Corviknight and Empoleon. Draco Meteor is Latios's strongest STAB move, most notably annihilating threats like Archaludon, Ursaluna-B, and Kyurem. Ice Beam forms a deadly BoltBeam core with Thunderbolt and allows Latios to hit Ground-types like Gliscor and Ursaluna-B without its Special Attack dropping. Aura Sphere can be run over Ice Beam to hit Steel-types like Heatran. Trick allows Latios to majorly hinder defensive staples like Assault Vest Galarian Slowking and Rest Hisuian Goodra that can take it on.

Gouging Fire is a great partner for Latios thanks to their ability to break down each other's checks. It can take on Steel-types like Kingambit and Gholdengo that could otherwise trouble Latios, stomaching Moonblast from Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and healing off the damage via Morning Sun. Archaludon functions as a wonderful teammate for Latios, as it can take on Kingambit and other Dark-types like Ting-Lu with Body Press and Stamina. It also provides entry hazard support in the form of Stealth Rock. In return for both, Latios can switch in on Ground-type attacks, like Earthquake from the likes of Choice Scarf Great Tusk and Choice Band Excadrill, thanks to Levitate; this also allows Latios to find opportunities to fire off its strong attacks. Utility Dragapult is another great teammate, as it can outspeed threatening foes that outspeed Latios, like Choice Specs Flutter Mane and mixed Iron Valiant, and ruin them with Thunder Wave. Garchomp is yet another good teammate, as it sets entry hazards to make Latios's wallbreaking job easier while scaring off Steel-types such as Heatran and Gholdengo lacking Air Balloon and Kingambit with its powerful Earthquake. Kommo-o pairs well alongside Latios since it can defeat Dark-types like Kingambit and Chien-Pao with Vacuum Wave. Raging Bolt finds its place alongside Latios, removing threats like Choice Scarf Enamorus and Choice Scarf Iron Valiant with Thunderclap at +1. Choice Scarf Roaring Moon provides speed control for Latios and takes care of troublesome threats like Choice Scarf Gholdengo, Choice Specs Flutter Mane, and Galarian Slowking.

Choice Specs Latios is a dangerous wallbreaker thanks to its good Speed tier, array of high-powered options, and good coverage to hit potential checks. Luster Purge hits most targets incredibly hard, being able to put massive pressure on defensive stopgaps like Galarian Slowking and Gholdengo (Honestly you can talk about how it just deletes poison and fighting types for the team. Glowking is never dropping/staying in after a luster, and Choice Scarf Gholdengo is a whapping 3hko; i feel banking off of that defense drop is not worth it. If anything you can add a follow up sentence with how it can 1v1 neutral threats like Clefable thanks to the drop chance.) thanks to its high Special Defense drop chance. Thunderbolt hits pesky Flying- and Water-types like Corviknight and Empoleon, while forming a deadly BoltBeam core with Ice Beam to hit common defensive pieces like the aforementioned two as well as Gliscor. (Since the order of the Sets is bolt then draco then ice beam, this just throws off the flow. Also just talk about how it deletes ground types like the landos/gliscor. do this after the draco sentence.) Draco Meteor is the other of Latios's high-powered STAB moves, most notably being able to OHKO Archaludon and potentially 2HKO Alolan Muk after Stealth Rock.(We would not once to risk that as it would just knock off latios's specs which would deem this set irrelevent. Just talk about it deleting Arch, Kyurem and Ursaluna-B, which is appreciated.) Aura Sphere can be run over Ice Beam to hit Dark- and Steel-types like Kingambit and Heatran, while retaining the ability to hit Ting-Lu. (Imma be honest, aura sphere is only hitting Heatran tbh, Gambit is clickin sucker punch on you, Dark types are just faster than specs lati in general. and ting lu you can just click beam on it. So honestly you can just heatran.) Trick allows Latios to ruin defensive staples like Assault Vest Galarian Slowking and Rest Hisuian Goodra that can take it on.

Gouging Fire is a great partner for Latios thanks to their ability to break down each other's checks. Dragapult is another great teammate, as it can outspeed threatening foes who outspeed Latios, like Flutter Mane and Iron Valiant, and potentially revenge kill them. (What set is it running to revenge kill them? also specify flutter mane is choice specs and iron valiant is like mix.) Archaludon functions as a decent teammate for Latios, as it can take on Kingambit and other Dark-types like Ting-Lu with Body Press and Stamina. (It also provides hazard via stealth rock.) It, like Gouging Fire, appreciates Latios being able to switch in on Ground-type attacks to fire off its own. Garchomp is another good teammate, as it sets entry hazards to make Latios's wallbreaking job easier while scaring off Steel-types like non-Air Balloon Heatran, Gholdengo, and Kingambit with its powerful Earthquake. Kommo-o is a good teammate since it can defeat Dark-types like Kingambit and Chien-Pao with Vacuum Wave.

Gouging Fire It can take on Steel-types like Kingambit and Gholdengo that could otherwise trouble Latios (RC) while being able to stomach stomaching Moonblast from Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and heal healing off the damage via Morning Sun. Utility Dragapult is another great teammate, as it can outspeed threatening foes who that outspeed Latios, like Choice Specs Flutter Mane and mixed Iron Valiant, and ruin them with Thunder Wave. Garchomp is yet another good teammate, as it sets entry hazards to make Latios's wallbreaking job easier while scaring off Steel-types such as Heatran and Gholdengo lacking Air Balloon and Kingambit with its powerful Earthquake. Kommo-o is a good teammate since it (structure getting repetitive) can defeat Dark-types like Kingambit and Chien-Pao with Vacuum Wave. Raging Bolt finds its place alongside Latios, being able to remove removing threats like Choice Scarf Enamorus and Choice Scarf Iron Valiant if Raging Bolt is at +1 with Thunderclap at +1. Choice Scarf Roaring Moon provides speed control for Latios and takes care of troublesome threats like Choice Scarf Gholdengo, Choice Specs Flutter Mane, and Galarian Slowking.
