[OVERVIEW]

Farfetch'd is a horrible Pokemon, being one of the worst fully evolved ones in the PU metagame due to its low Speed, Attack, and bulk. As an attacker, it is outclassed by Dodrio, which hits much harder, and as a sweeper, it is outclassed by Jumpluff, which is much faster and can put its foes to sleep with Sleep Powder. Purugly outclasses it as a Defiant user, as it has access to Fake Out, is much faster, and is much stronger. Despite all of Farfetch'd's flaws, it is at least able to boost its Attack by two stages with Defiant or Swords Dance and pick off weakened Pokemon with Quick Attack. It also has access to Leaf Blade, which allows it to hit Pokemon that resist its STAB type combination, such as Carracosta and Golem.

ability: Defiant
nature: Adamant

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

While Farfetch'd doesn't find many opportunities to set up, Swords Dance can double its Attack, allowing it to deal much more damage to its foes. Brave Bird is Farfetch'd's strongest STAB move, and it can deal a lot of damage to frailer foes, but the recoil cuts Farfetch'd's health. Leaf Blade allows Farfetch'd to take on Pokemon that resist Brave Bird, such as Carracosta and Stunfisk, while also sporting a very high critical hit chance thanks to Stick. Quick Attack allows Farfetch'd to pick off weakened foes, especially after an Attack boost from Swords Dance or Defiant.

Set Details
========

This EV spread aims to maximize Farfetch'd's offensive capabilites. An Adamant nature along with maximum Attack investment gives Farfetch'd the power to hit as hard as possible, allowing it to get certain KOs such an OHKO on Piloswine at +2 with a critical hit after Stealth Rock; maximum Speed investment is helpful in order to outspeed Pokemon such as Roselia. Farfetch'd can discourage the use of Defog thanks to Defiant, which gives it a +2 Attack boost if it switches into Defog. Stick is an item exclusive to Farfetch'd that boosts its critical hit ratio, giving moves such as Leaf Blade a very high chance for a critical hit. Life Orb can also be used to reliably deal more damage, but it easily wears down Farfetch'd and comes at the cost of its high critical hit ratio.

Usage Tips
========

Farfetch'd is extremely frail, so it shouldn't be switched into strong attacks from Pokemon such as Stoutland and Piloswine. Instead, it should be safely brought into battle with the help of a slower Volt Switch or U-turn from Pokemon such as Probopass and Pelipper. Farfetch'd can be switched into Defoggers such as Pelipper and Vibrava to gain a +2 Attack boost thanks to Defiant, but it should be wary of taking a hit instead. If a foe is low on health, Farfetch'd can be brought in to revenge kill it with Quick Attack. If Farfetch'd is facing a foe that can't deal much damage to it, such as Gogoat, it can set up a Swords Dance in order to sweep or punch a hole in the opposing team. Farfetch'd should mainly be used as a late-game sweeper, though it can also be brought in mid-game to gain a boost from Defog or revenge kill a foe with Quick Attack; it can also set up on a forced switch against foes such as Roselia and Vibrava.

Team Options
========

Farfetch'd best fits on offensive teams, mainly ones that make use of a lot of entry hazards, as it can discourage the use of Defog and sweep late-game. Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes from Pokemon such as Piloswine and Roselia are helpful to wear down Farfetch'd's checks, as well as break opposing Sturdy and Focus Sash. Sticky Web users such as Leavanny and Kricketune work wonders for Farfetch'd, as Sticky Web can slow down the foe, helping Farfetch'd outspeed faster Pokemon such as Ninetales and Simipour; all entry hazards are also helpful for baiting the use of Defog, which gives Farfetch'd a +2 Attack boost. Farfetch'd appreciates wallbreakers such as Ursaring and Stoutland, as they can weaken Farfetch'd's checks, making it easier to sweep. Slow users of Volt Switch and Baton Pass, such as Probopass and Pelipper, make for good partners, as they can get Farfetch'd into battle safely. Probopass is also able to trap opposing Probopass, which would otherwise wall Farfetch'd. Ground-types such as Piloswine and Gabite are able to take on Electric- and Rock-types, which are some of the most common Pokemon Farfetch'd is weak to. Because Farfetch'd is weak to Stealth Rock, it appreciates entry hazard control from Pokemon such as Pelipper and Armaldo. Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Clefairy and Mr. Mime is very helpful in reviving Farfetch'd for the late-game, as it can be quickly worn down by Stealth Rock damage as well as recoil from Brave Bird.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Farfetch'd doesn't have many other options to choose from, but it can use Knock Off, which allows it to take on Ghost-types such as Misdreavus without taking recoil while also removing Eviolites. Agility can be used in place of Swords Dance to boost Farfetch'd's Speed, while Tailwind can do the same in addition to supporting Farfetch'd's team; nevertheless, Swords Dance is generally better, as Farfetch'd is very weak. Roost can be used to boost Farfetch'd's longevity, but Farfetch'd usually isn't able to take hits anyway. Return gives Farfetch'd an option for a stronger Normal-type STAB attack, but it is a lot less useful than Brave Bird. U-turn can be helpful to get chip damage on Pokemon such as Probopass and grant momentum, but it is a lot less helpful than Quick Attack. Baton Pass along with Swords Dance or Agility can be used to allow Farfetch'd to better support a team, though its frailty often leaves it unable to find opportunities to set up. Sharp Beak, while only boosting the power of Brave Bird, can be used to avoid recoil from Life Orb and is often more reliable than Stick. A Jolly nature can be used instead of Adamant, but it only helps Farfetch'd outspeed a few Pokemon and makes it lose out on a lot of power.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Rock- and Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Probopass and Solrock can comfortably take Farfetch'd's STAB moves and take advantage of it by setting up Stealth Rock; however, Farfetch'd can deal decent damage to Solrock with Leaf Blade.

**Electric-types**: Electric-types such as Stunfisk, Zebstrika, and Raichu can take any hit from Farfetch'd, and other than Stunfisk, all of them can outspeed and OHKO it with their respective STAB moves. Stunfisk can also take advantage of Farfetch'd by setting up Stealth Rock, while Zebstrika and Raichu can use Volt Switch to gain momentum on an incoming switch.

**Faster Pokemon**: Because Farfetch'd is so frail, almost anything faster than it can OHKO or 2HKO it, while Farfetch'd can only manage to get off chip damage with Quick Attack.

**Priority Users**: Piloswine and Mightyena can OHKO Farfetch'd with Ice Shard and Sucker Punch, respectively, after Stealth Rock. Mightyena can even gain a boost from KOing Farfetch'd thanks to Moxie.

looks good though is jolly really necesary? The only relevant thing it beats is adamant barbaralce so adamant should get a mention
Also uturn seems redundant as all it hits is probopass: +2 252+ Atk Farfetch'd Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Piloswine on a critical hit: 332-392 (82.1 - 97%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock (you can even live an ice shard!!) and quick attack is p nice:
+2 252+ Atk Farfetch'd Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Raichu on a critical hit: 225-265 (86.2 - 101.5%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Also in TO you should mention what you can set up on (force a switch from roselia i guess)

I feel that Adamant should be slashed before Jolly as Farfetch'd needs all the power it can get plus you have Quick Attack to make up for the loss in Speed. Life Orb should at least get a mention in Set Details or at least be slashed with Stick so you aren't so reliant on getting a critical hit with Stick as Farfetch'd won't be taking any strong attacks anytime soon. The Ghost-type mention in Team Options don't make sense here as that would only apply to Pokemon which can set hazards which appreciate the spinblocking and Farfetch'd can't setup entry hazards. Also mention wallbreakers which let Farfetch'd set up easier. You also mentioned U-turn in Checks and Counters for Rock- and Steel-types, but never mentioned the move in Other Options, so either remove the mention or add U-turn to OO.

2/3.

uh the spatk mention seems random in the overview, esp when you compare it to other physical attackers so change that to attack i guess?
i guess you can emphasize how shit it is multiple times throughout the analysis a la joke analyses but otherwise good job (y)
not qc anymore so idk if i can stamp tho

AM checking for anty :3

Set
Just put Jolly in OO, literally only for Adamant Barb and other 2 qc didn't like etc etc

UT
There's a line about using U-turn on stuff you cant touch like probopass, but the main set doesnt have u-turn so remove

4 Atk Lickilicky Body Slam vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Farfetch'd: 130-154 (53 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Don't use lickilicky as an example of something that cant do much damage to Farfetch'd, Vibrava makes more sense but you already used it and everything else does like 50% to this outside of venipede so maybe just one example (noctowl does over half sigh)

TO
Also mention Probopass can trap other Probopass which otherwise wall farfetch'd

OO
Jolly, Return, SD/Agility+BP, U-turn can get slapped on
Something other than Stick? Like sharp beak? Stick doesnt really do much

Checks and Counters
The way you say electrics can take any hit from farfetch'd sounds like they're slower, I'd rewrite it so it's clear that they can switch in if need be
Ray that mightyena and pilo can OHKO after rocks rather than just KO

Quick Attack allows Farfetch'd to pick off weakened foes, especially when it's Attack is boosted with the help of after an Attack boost from Swords Dance or Defiant.

If Farfetch'd is facing a foe that can't deal much damage to it, such as Gogoat, it can set up a Swords Dance in order to sweep the foe or punch a hole in their team. (either make it "in order to sweep or punch a hole in the opposing team" or make something like it "in order to break past the foe or punch a hole in the opposing team." "Sweep the foe" won't do, and I'm not entirely sure what you mean) Farfetch'd should mainly be used as a late-game (add hyphen) sweeper, though it can also be brought in mid-game to gain a boost from Defog or revenge kill a foe with Quick Attack; it can also set up on a forced switch against opponents foes such as Roselia and Vibrava.

I really don't like this one prosewise, but this use of "weakness" doesn't seem acceptable cause "weakness" can only be used in an abstract sense afaik; changing "are" to "constitute" or "make for" is another possibility, but that looks a tad iffy too, lol) Because Farfetch'd is weak to Stealth Rock, it appreciates entry hazard support control from Pokemon such as Pelipper and Armaldo, who can get rid of opposing entry hazards. Healing Wish support from Pokemon such as Clefairy and Mr. Mime are is very helpful in reviving Farfetch'd for the late-game, as it can be quickly worn down by Stealth Rock damage as well as recoil from Brave Bird.

**Priority Users**: Priority users such as (this section essentially discusses just Piloswine and Mightyena in some detail, whereas you're saying you're gonna discuss "priority users", of which those two are supposed to be just examples. This is the easiest fix available, but if there are more viable priority users that you don't want to appear to exclude --I wouldn't know-- this needs some rewriting. It should be fine if you just make the bit that I deleted into a separate sentence and keep the rest as is though) Piloswine and Mightyena can both OHKO Farfetch'd with Ice Shard and Sucker Punch, respectively, after Stealth Rock. Mightyena can even gain a boost from KOing Farfetch'd thanks to Moxie.
