You named some absolutely odd choices for bulky waters there but forgot quagsire. Good typing, recovery and unaware make him a fantastic bulky water pokemon.
But replacing blastoise isn't as easy as just picking another water pokemon. He was invaluable as he was able to rapid spin and phaze.

Quagsire is in RU. Oh shit. I find it wierd I have never seen him. Lots of things are able to rapid spin and phaxe but his stats and typing is what makes him a good spinner and pokemon in general. Of course he was an awesome spinner but thats not all Blastoise was. He outclassed many bulky waters that will now see the light of day.

What about shiftry? It has the defense of paper, but with Growth, Chlorophyll, Leaf Storm, and Sucker punch, in the sun it's a good game.
