[OVERVIEW]

Granbull possesses the pure Fairy typing, allowing it to beat many of the tier's Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-types. It also has decent Attack and Defense, which, along with Intimidate, make it a solid Pokemon both offensively and defensively. Granbull also has a good movepool, ranging from offensive moves in Earthquake and Play Rough to more supportive ones in Roar and Thunder Wave. However, its low Special Defense makes it vulnerable to many special attackers in the tier, particularly Poison-types such as Nidoqueen and Roserade. It's also very slow and unable to outspeed a number of walls, which sets it back quite a bit. Granbull does require quite a lot of team support and doesn't function well on all types of teams, but it can perform very well as a cleric and a check to many physical threats in the metagame.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Play Rough is the best STAB move to run on Granbull, being hard hitting and fairly accurate. Heal Bell allows Granbull to cure itself and the rest of its team of status ailments. Earthquake provides good coverage alongside Play Rough to hit Steel- and Fire-types such as Magneton and Entei, which resist Play Rough. Rest can be used as a source of recovery for Granbull, as it is easily worn down. Sleep Talk should be run together with Rest, keeping Granbull useful during the two turns of sleep. There's also the chance of Sleep Talk calling a Heal Bell, waking Granbull up prematurely. If you decide to not run Sleep Talk, Roar is a fine option to phaze opposing Pokemon out, especially those that try to use Granbull as setup fodder. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple Pokemon such as Entei that normally switch in to Granbull expecting a Play Rough.

Set Details
========

An Impish nature along with maximum EVs invested into HP and Defense maximizes Granbull's defensive capabilities. This is further supported by Intimidate. Leftovers is used to give Granbull a passive form of recovery each turn.

Usage Tips
========

Granbull can safely switch into many physical attackers such as Mienshao, not taking much damage as well as threatening them out with a Play Rough. It also switches well into Pokemon such as Hydreigon due to its pure Fairy typing, so take advantage of these to get a Heal Bell off should you need to. However, you should switch out when dealing with strong special attackers, as they target Granbull's lower Special Defense. Rest should only be used when Granbull is getting to low health, as it makes Granbull semi-vulnerable for two turns. Using Sleep Talk to burn sleep turns should only be done when the opposing Pokemon can't do much damage to Granbull. Using Thunder Wave on predicted switches into faster Pokemon is a good idea to cripple them, as is using Roar to prevent setup by bulkier sweepers. This set is best used on dedicated stall teams as a cleric, while being a solid counter to threats such as Mega Absol and Choice Band Heracross.

Team Options
========

Granbull is easily worn down, as its only form of recovery is Rest, so entry hazard removal is highly recommended. Donphan is a good partner, as it can not only Rapid Spin away opposing entry hazards, but also has good synergy in helping Granbull deal with Poison- and Steel-types. Ground-types in general such as Nidoking and Krookodile also have good synergy with Granbull. Psychic-type Pokemon such as Azelf make for great partners as well, punishing Poison-types such as Roserade. In return, Granbull can deal with Dark-types that threaten them. Because Granbull is easily worn down, Wish support is appreciated to keep it healthy and make it not too reliant on Rest. This is especially true if you choose to not run Rest. Some good options are Vaporeon, Blissey, and Umbreon, all of which can take the special hits that threaten Granbull.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Play Rough is a solid STAB move, dealing major damage to all Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-types in the tier such as Hydreigon, Machamp, Haxorus, and Honchkrow. Heal Bell provides good utility in curing Granbull or its teammates of any status ailments. Earthquake provides good coverage against Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-type Pokemon that resist Play Rough such as Empoleon, Entei, and Nidoqueen. Thunder Wave cripples switch-ins to Granbull, especially faster Pokemon such as Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Pidgeot.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and HP allows Granbull to hit as hard as possible while maintaining sufficient bulk to check Pokemon such as Haxorus and Hydreigon. An Adamant nature is used to boost its good Attack stat further. Granbull's defensive capabilities are supported by Intimidate, making physical attacks hit for much less damage than normal. Leftovers is used for a steady form of passive recovery.

Usage Tips
========

Granbull easily switches into any Dark-, Fighting-, or Dragon-types and is capable of dealing large amounts of damage back to them. This is particularly true for more defensive Pokemon or physical attackers. Some examples include Umbreon, Mienshao, and Haxorus.
Special attackers are the bane of Granbull, putting a major dent in it, so it's always a good idea to switch Granbull out from them. Use Thunder Wave if you manage to predict a switch into a bigger threat, or to simply cripple the foe currently on the battlefield. Granbull should only use Heal Bell when it has a free turn against Pokemon it has a typing advantage against, such as Mienshao.

Team Options
========

Because this set doesn't carry Rest, it's worn down easily, so entry hazard removal is absolutely needed. Some good partners for the job are Gligar, Donphan, and Forretress, whch can set up entry hazards for your team as well. Ground-types partner well with Granbull, as they are able to deal with the Steel- and Poison-types that threaten it. Wish support from Umbreon and Blissey is much appreciated to keep Granbull healthy for as long as possible. They can also take strong special attacks targeted at Granbull. These two can pass Wishes while having Granbull take the Fighting-type attacks that threaten them.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bulk Up can be used to boost Granbull's Attack and Defense, but its low Speed and Special Defense render this largely ineffective. Choice Band can be used for Granbull to hit much harder, but its coverage is limited outside of Play Rough and Earthquake. Fire Punch can be used specifically to deal with Forretress, which isn't bothered by any of Granbull's other moves.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Poison-types**: Poison-types aren't threatened by Granbull's STAB attacks and can threaten it out with their own STAB attacks. Nidoking and Nidoqueen have a special mention for being immune to Thunder Wave as well.

**Crobat**: Crobat can switch in on a Play Rough easily and is immune to Earthquake. Paralysis from Thunder Wave can be pain, but Granbull still can't do much when Crobat is paralyzed considering it can just Roost off the damage. Furthermore, Taunt from Crobat completely shuts Granbull down.

**Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Mega Aggron and Magneton threaten Granbull out with Heavy Slam and Flash Cannon, respectively. Magneton has to be wary of Earthquake, but Mega Aggron isn't too bothered by it nor by Thunder Wave because of its physical bulk and low speed.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types can switch into the RestTalk set with ease, but have to watch out for Earthquake from the bulky attacker set. However, airborne Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres are immune to Earthquake and can easily wall Granbull.

**Hard-Hitting Special Attackers**: Pokemon such as Mega Pidgeot, Mega Blastoise, Shaymin, and Chandelure can all target Granbull's weak Special Defense and either OHKO it or deal major damage to it.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Granbull can used as easy setup fodder for Pokemon such as Suicune, Snorlax, and Subtitute + Calm Mind Cresselia. Granbull can't deal much damage to these Pokemon and they can shrug off paralysis. The best Granbull can do is phaze them out with Roar if it runs the move.

**Volt Switch Users**: Pokemon such as Forretress usually switch in easily or, in the case of Heliolisk, threaten Granbull out. They can often use Volt Switch expecting a potential switch, gaining offensive momentum for the opposing team.

I wouldn't say its offensive options are limited in the CB part, considering it gets the elemental punches, CC, Crunch, EQ it isn't limited, it just can't utilize a CB set too effectively. I'd also add Bulky Setup Sweepers in C&C since Granbull is just nice fodder for them.

Changed the phrasing of CB in other options to be more appropriate. Added the bulky setup sweepers part into C&C

For the defensive set, I would much rather run Roar than Thunder Wave if I'm not running RestTalk, given that defensive Granbull is basically restricted to hard stall teams and that paralyzing stuff won't do much for stall. So Roar should replace Thunder Wave on that set, but Thunder Wave can stay as a Bullet Point. Just to be clear:

Play Rough
Heal Bell
Rest / EQ
Sleep Talk / Roar

with Thunder Wave in Moves. In Usage Tips for this set, say that it's best used on dedicated stall/heavily defensive teams as a cleric and a counter to things like CB Heracross, Mega Absol, etc.

Crobat should be in C&C since it doesn't care about either Play Rough or EQ and Granbull still can't touch it even if Crobat's paralyzed. On top of that Crobat may carry Taunt to prevent paralysis. Analysis looks good otherwise.

mention specific Wish partners for Granbull, such as Blissey, Umbreon, or Vaporeon, all of which take a lot of the special attacking pressure.

Mention Voltswitch users in checks, near the bottom; Pokemon such as Forry love to predict potential incoming or outgoing Granbull.

after this, 2/3

Just a nitpick: instead of putting solely Rotom-H in C&C, replace it with Fire-types as they can switch into the RestTalk set with little difficulty. Mention that they need to watch out for Earthquake on the bulky attacker though, but say that Fire-types immune to EQ like Rotom-H and Moltres wall it completely.

REMOVE CHANGE COMMENTS

most everything here is correct unless I point it out specifically; what I mean is that most everything can be implemented, but not all is necessary. It's eyan's choice on the stuff I say is fine before :)
Overview
########

Granbull possesses the pure Fairy typing, allowing it to beat many of the tier's Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-types. It also has decent Attack and Defense, which along with the ability not that necessary Intimidate, makes it a solid Pokemon both offensively and defensively. Granbull also has a good movepool, ranging from offensive moves attacks fine as-is in Earthquake and Play Rough, to more supportive ones moves fine as-is in Roar and Thunder Wave. However, its low base Special Defense stat this is actually not a correct change; 'base X stat' isn't correct, as there's either 'base X' or 'a Special Defense stat'. Using base is OK, but that's up to eyan and stat should be removed in that case makes it vulnerable to many special attacking Pokemon in the tier, in particular Poison-types like such as Nidoqueen and Roserade. It's also very slow, and being unable to outspeed a number of walls bulky Pokemon fine as-is sets it back by quite a bit. Granbull does require quite the team support quite the team support? Like, 'quite the appetite'? 'quite a lot of team support' makes more sense. and doesn't function well on all types of teams, but it can generally perform what it's supposed to do do whatever thingy thing it does this sentence is filler atm (speaking to lucina); saying Granbull's actual role in the overview is very important, as I still don't know what it does yet (speaking to eyan) very well.

Play Rough is the Granbull's best STAB move to run on Granbull, being hard hitting as it hits hard and it's fairly accurate. Heal Bell allows Granbull to cure itself and the rest of the team of status ailments. Earthquake provides good coverage in hitting I would prefer' good coverage against'; 'good coverage in hitting' is a bit of a strange sentence Steel- and Fire-types that resists this should be 'resist'! Play Rough such as Magneton (and what Fire-type in specific?) alongside Play Rough to hit Steel- and Fire-types such as Magneton which resist Play Rough. Rest can be used as a source of recovery for Granbull, (AC) as it IMOOO this should be 'Granbull is easily worn down'. The subject of this sentence is Rest, which is what 'it' refers to is easily worn down. Sleep Talk should be ran used not that necessary together with Rest, keeping Granbull useful during the two turns of sleep. There's also the chance of Sleep Talking a Heal Bell, waking itself Granbull same deal here up prematurely. If you decide to not run Sleep Talk, Roar is a fine option Roar can be used instead of Sleep Talk to phaze opposing Pokemon out, especially those that try to use Granbull as setup fodder. Thunder Wave can be ran used same to cripple Pokemon such as Entei that normally switch in to Granbull expecting a Play Rough.

This is further supported by Intimidate for its ability. Leftovers are used to give Granbull a passive form of recovery each turn.

Usage Tips
========

Granbull is a Pokemon that good change here; great to see you're catching stuff like this :) can safely switch into many physical attackers such as Mienshao, not taking much damage as well as threatening them out with a Play Rough. It also switches well into Pokemon like such as I want to be the last person to berate swapping like to such as lmao, but this could be correct. 'Pokemon similar to Hydreigon' would be correct usage. If Hydreigon was talked about later in the sentence tho it would be a required 'such as' Hydreigon due to its pure Fairy typing, so take advantage of these to get a Heal Bell off should you need to. However, you should switch out when dealing with strong special attackers, (AC) as they target Granbull's lower Special Defense. Rest should only be used when Granbull's is getting to low health health is low, as it makes Granbull semi-vulnerable for two turns. Using Sleep Talk to burn sleep turns should only be done when the opposing Pokemon can't do much damage to Granbull. (speaking to eyan) I have no idea what this means. Can you let me know, so I can possibly correct it? Clicking Using Thunder Wave on predicted switches into faster Pokemon imo 'to cripple them' should be here to avoid splice. Either that or 'Use Thunder Wave' and delete 'is a good idea'. is a good idea to cripple them, as well as using if you say 'Use Thunder Wave', have this after the comma read 'and use Roar to prevent' Roar to prevent bulky sweepers from setting up. setup by bulkier sweepers. As a cleric, this (lowercase) set is best used on dedicated stall teams, (AC) as a cleric, my policy with the commas before 'while' is to keep them out when it's time; 'while' with a comma in front can often be interpreted as 'wheras'. Other people have differing opinions, though. Just keep in mind that commas before the 'wheras while' are absolutely necessary 100% while being a solid counter to threats such as Mega Absol and Choice Banded Heracross.

Team Options

Granbull is easily worn down, (AC) as its only form of recovery is Rest, so entry hazard removal support is highly recommended. A Pokemon like such as Donphan make is a good partner, (AC) as it can not only Rapid Spin away opposing entry hazards, but has good synergy in helping Granbull deal with Poison- and Steel-types. Ground-types in general such as Nidoking, Krookodile, and Hippowdown also not 100% needed have good synergy with Granbull as well. this isn't needed if you add the first 'also'. It'd be redundant! Psychic-type Pokemon like such as Alakazam can partner well with make a great partner for Granbull as well, punishing Poison-types like such as Roserade. (Remove period and replace with comma) while Granbull in turn can deals with Dark-types that threaten them back. as you already said 'in return' Since Because Granbull is easily worn down, Wish support is appreciated to keep it healthy and not too reliant on Rest. This is especially so true having nothing here isn't correct, but I prefer 'true' to 'so' if you choose to not even run have Rest in your set. Some good options are Vaporeon, Blissey, and Umbreon, (AC) which all that can also eat up special hits that threaten Granbull.

Maximum investment in Attack and HP to make allows Granbull to it good; EVs maximize, investment allows hit as hard as possible, while maintaining sufficient bulk to check [examples of what it checks] what it should. An Adamant nature is used to boost its good Attack stat further. On the other hand, its Granbull's it's not really 'on the other hand', it's something as well. More 'on the side'! Special attackers are the bane of Granbull, putting a major dent in it. (period ==> comma) Hence so it's always a good idea to switch Granbull out. (Period) from them. keep the 'from them'. Use Thunder Wave if you manage to predict a switch into a bigger threat something else, or to simply to cripple what's currently sent out by your opponent. Heal Bell should only be used against Pokemon that can't do much to Granbull such as Mienshao. (would reword saying something about "Granbull can use Heal Bell to its advantage, while resisting STAB attacks from Pokemon such as Mienshao") I like 'Granbull should only use Heal Bell when it has a free turn against Pokemon it has an advantage against, such as Mienshao.

Since Because this set typically doesn't carry Rest, it's worn down much more easily not more easily; don't relate it to the other set. Hence (period ==> comma) so entry hazard removal support is absolutely needed. Some good partners for the job are Gligar, Donphan, and Forretress, (AC) who which can also this also isn't needed with 'as well' in the sentence later already set up entry hazards for your team as well. Ground-types partner well with Granbull, (AC) as they are able to deal with the Steel- and Poison-types that threaten it. Wish support from Umbreon and Blissey is much-appreciated to keep Granbull healthy for as long as possible. Some good ones include Umbreon and Blissey that They can also take strong special attacks targeted at Granbull. These two can pass Wishes, (AC) while in accordance with what I said before, a comma here is not always needed in this case, and I would even say it's 'more correct' (by a hair?) to have no comma, but especially because eyan had none already. having Granbull take the Fighting-type hits attacks that threaten them.

Other Options
########

Bulk Up can be used to boost its two main stats Granbull's Attack and Defense even further by one stage, but its low Speed and Special Defense renders this largely ineffective. Choice Band can be used for Granbull to hit much harder, (AC) as it has a good variety of offensive moves, but the coverage is limited outside of Play Rough and Earthquake. Fire Punch can be ran used same deal! specifically to deal with Forretress, (AC) which that isn't bothered by any of Granbull's other moves.

Checks & Counters
########

**Poison-types**: These Poison-types aren't too threatened by Granbull's moves and can threaten it out with their STAB Poison-type attacks. Nidoking and Nidoqueen have a special mention for being immune to Thunder Wave as well.

**Crobat**: It Crobat can switch in on a Play Rough easily, (RC) and is immune to Earthquake. Paralysis from Thunder Wave can be pain, but Granbull still can't do much when Crobat is paralyzed considering it can just Roost off the damage. Furthermore, Taunt from Crobat completely shuts down Granbull. down. This is OK before

**Steel-types**: Pokemon like such as Mega Aggron and Magneton threaten Granbull out with Heavy Slam and Flash Cannon, (AC) respectively. Magneton has to fear the be wary of Earthquake from some Granbull, but Mega Aggron isn't too bothered by it nor by Thunder Wave because of its physical bulk.

**Fire-types**: These Pokemon Fire-types can switch into the RestTalk set with ease, but have to watch out for Earthquake from the bulky attacker set. Fire-types like such as Rotom-H and Moltres are immune to Earthquake though and can easily wall Granbull.

**Hard-Hitting Special Attackers**: Pokemon like such as Mega Pidgeot, Mega Blastoise, Shaymin, and Chandelure can all target Granbull's weaker Special Defense side (There are no sides) and either OHKO or do deal major damage to it.

**Bulky Setup Sweepers**: Granbull can used as easy setup fodder for Pokemon like such as Suicune, Snorlax, and Substitute + Calm Mind Cresselia. Granbull can't deal much damage to these Pokemon too much just remember to work on both ends of the changes when improving the prose and they can shrug off paralysis. The best Granbull can do is phaze them out with Roar if it runs it.

**Volt Switch Users**: Pokemon such as Forretress and Heliolisk usually switch in easily, (What do you mean by "switch in easily?" If you mean can switch into Granbull, I don't think Heliolisk wants to take a STAB Play Rough.) or threatens Granbull out. Hence they can often click use Volt Switch expecting a potential switch out, gaining offensive momentum for the opposing team.

also, the analysis format has changed a bit. Nothing major, but the headers are moved around a bit, the ##### usage is changed, etc. I'll let you look up on it here. But make sure it's changed!

GatoDelFuego Take a look to see if I implemented the check correctly. Also I changed the phrasing in the last line of the Overview, usage tips for the defensive set, as well as the "Volt Switch users" under C&C, so take a look. Otherwise, it should be fine.

Good, but make sure you explain what Granbull's role is in the overview. The reader needs to know that.

[OVERVIEW]

Granbull possesses the pure Fairy typing, allowing it to beat many of the tier's Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-types. It also has decent Attack and Defense, which, (AC) along with Intimidate, makes it a solid Pokemon both offensively and defensively. Granbull also has a good movepool, ranging from offensive moves in Earthquake and Play Rough, (RC) to more supportive ones in Roar and Thunder Wave. However, its low Special Defense stat makes it vulnerable to many special attackersing Pokemon in the tier, in particularly Poison-types like such as Nidoqueen and Roserade. It's also very slow and being unable to outspeed a number of walls, which sets it back by quite a bit. Granbull does require quite a lot of team support and doesn't function well on all types of teams, but it can perform very well as a cleric and a check to many physical threats in the metagame.

Moves
========

Play Rough is the best STAB move to run on Granbull, being hard hitting and fairly accurate. Heal Bell allows Granbull to cure itself and the rest of the its team of status ailments. Earthquake provides good coverage alongside Play Rough to hit Steel- and Fire-types such as Magneton and Entei, (if you're gonna mention Fire-types, give an example) which resist Play Rough. Rest can be used as a source of recovery for Granbull, (AC) as it is easily worn down. Sleep Talk should be ran run together with Rest, keeping Granbull useful during the two turns of sleep. There's also the chance of Sleep Talking a calling Heal Bell, waking itself Granbull up prematurely. If you decide to not run Sleep Talk, Roar is a fine option to phaze opposing Pokemon out, especially those that try to use Granbull as setup fodder. Thunder Wave can be ran used to cripple Pokemon such as Entei that normally switch in to Granbull expecting a Play Rough.

Set Details
========

An Impish nature along with maximum EVs invested into HP and Defense maximizes Granbull's defensive capabilities. This is further supported by Intimidate for its ability. Leftovers are is (strange as it may seem, Leftovers is singular) used to give Granbull a passive form of recovery each turn.

Usage Tips
========

Granbull is a Pokemon that can safely switch into many physical attackers such as Mienshao, not taking much damage as well as threatening them out with a Play Rough. It also switches well into Pokemon like such as Hydreigon due to its pure Fairy typing, so take advantage of these to get a Heal Bell off should you need to. However, you should switch out when dealing with strong special attackers, (AC) as they target Granbull's lower Special Defense. Rest should only be used when Granbull is getting to low health, as it makes Granbull semi-vulnerable for two turns. Using Sleep Talk to burn sleep turns should only be done when the opposing Pokemon can't do much damage to Granbull. Clicking Using Thunder Wave on predicted switches into faster Pokemon is a good idea to cripple them, as well as is using Roar to prevent setup by bulkier sweepers. This set is best used on dedicated stall teams as a cleric, (RC) while being a solid counter to threats such as Mega Absol and Choice Banded Heracross.

Team Options
========

Granbull is easily worn down, as its only form of recovery is Rest, so entry hazard removal support is highly recommended. A Pokemon such as Donphan is a good partner, as it can not only Rapid Spin away opposing entry hazards, but also has good synergy in helping Granbull deal with Poison- and Steel-types. Ground-types in general such as Nidoking and Krookodile also have good synergy with Granbull. Psychic-type Pokemon such as Azelf make a for great partners for Granbull as well, punishing Poison-types such as Roserade,. (comma to period) In return, Granbull can deal with Dark-types that threaten them. Because Granbull is easily worn down, Wish support is appreciated to keep it healthy and make it not too reliant on Rest. This is especially true if you choose to not have run Rest in your set. Some good options are Vaporeon, Blissey, and Umbreon, all of which all can also eat up take the special hits that threaten Granbull.

Moves

Play Rough is a solid STAB move, dealing major damage to all Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-types in the tier such as Hydreigon, Machamp, Haxorus, and Honchkrow. Heal Bell provides good utility in curing Granbull or its teammates of any status ailments. Earthquake provides good coverage against Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-type Pokemon that resist Play Rough such as Empoleon, Entei, and Nidoqueen. Finally, Thunder Wave cripples switch-ins to Granbull, especially faster Pokemon such as Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Pidgeot.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and HP allows Granbull to hit as hard as possible, (RC) while maintaining sufficient bulk to check Pokemon such as Haxorus and Hydreigon. An Adamant nature is used to boost its good Attack stat further. Granbull's defensive capabilities are supported by Intimidate, making physical attacks hit for much less damage than normal. Leftovers are ran is used for a steady form of passive recovery.

Usage Tips
========

Use Thunder Wave if you manage to predict a switch into a bigger threat, or to simply cripple what's currently sent out by your opponent the foe currently on the battlefield (cleaned this up as best as I could). Granbull should only use Heal Bell when it has a free turn against Pokemon it has an a typing advantage against, such as Mienshao.

Bulk Up can be used to boost Granbull's Attack and Defense by one stage, but its low Speed and Special Defense render this largely ineffective. **Poison-types**: Poison-types aren't too threatened by Granbull's moves (Earthquake?) and can threaten it out with their STAB Poison-type attacks. Nidoking and Nidoqueen have a special mention for being immune to Thunder Wave as well.

**Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Mega Aggron and Magneton threaten Granbull out with Heavy Slam and Flash Cannon, respectively. Magneton has to be wary of Earthquake from Granbull, but Mega Aggron isn't too bothered by it nor by Thunder Wave because of its physical bulk and low Speed (after all, T-Wave isn't related to M-Aggron's bulk at all).

**Fire-types**: Fire-types can switch into the RestTalk set with ease, but have to watch out for Earthquake from the bulky attacker set. However, airborne Fire-types such as Rotom-H and Moltres are immune to Earthquake and can easily wall Granbull.
