Hey guys, Cataquack64 here. I'd like to show a good team that I like using, its an underrated type, but in my opinion, its pretty cool. Its the ice type! Sure, it has shitty defenses, but its a good offense type, being able to take down annoyances like mandibuzz and Set Up Dragonite. Ice also has access to Kyurem White, which was ubanned exclusively to ice. So without further ado, heres my ice team! (Check Cata's Ice for ranking)
Cassie Campbell (Froslass) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
Cassie is my lead. She can set up at least 2 layers of spikes before getting hit by a move that would normally OHKO her. I tend to run Taunt over Thunder Wave because Froslass outspeeds a lot of pokemon that isnt scarfed or had Speed boosts baton passed to them, and Taunt helps get rid of annoying pokemon in the form of Umbreon and Scolipede. I put a Focus Sash on her so she can use her main move, Destiny Bond, safely. Alot of user try to avoid being DB'd by using Normal/Fighting moves or Status Moves, but I use Destiny Bond every other turn to prolong the inevitable.Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond
- Shadow Ball
Wayne Gretsky (Weavile) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 8 HP / 248 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Ice Shard
- Low Kick
- Knock Off
Wayne is my main attacker. He can use Fake Out to break Sashes and Multiscale, or get a bit of a HP recovery if Stealth Rocks are in my area. He then can use Knock Off to get rid of Choice Items, Leftovers, and help my team aginst the ever-so-annoying Chansey/Porygon2. Low Kick is also another good move that Wanye has access to. Low Kick deals large damage to (Literally) heavy hitters like Mega-Aggron and Kyurem-Black. Wayne can also use Ice Shard to finish off Pokemon with Sashes or the Ability Sturdy. While its Wayne's only Ice attack, its very useful for taking down Dragon Sweepers like Garchomp and Salamence.Ability: Pressure
EVs: 8 HP / 248 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Ice Shard
- Low Kick
- Knock Off
Jarome Iginla (Avalugg) @ Leftovers
Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Avalanche
- Recover
- Roar
Jerome is a Defensive Wall, and he does his job very well. Jarome's slowness allows him to use good moves in the form of Avalanche and Roar. Avalanche is Jarome's main attack, its power doubling if it takes an attack. Avalugg can also use Roar to get rid of special sweepers like Volcarona and Noivern. Jarome has access to Rapid Spin, which gets rid of Stealth Rock, which mess up my team's cool flow. Jarome's final move is Recover, which is used to stay out in front longer.Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Avalanche
- Recover
- Roar
Ron Paterson (Regice) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Focus Blast
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
Ron is the special, offensive version of Jarome. Ice Beam is his only STAB attack, but its his best attack so far. I run Focus Blast and Hidden Power Fire to get rid of Steel types (mainly Ferrothorn), and thunderbolt for that good ole BoltBeam coverage. I run Assault Vest on Ron so pokemon like Volcarona and Mega Gardevoir have trouble taking him down, while he deals heavy damage to them.Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Focus Blast
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
Eric Lindros (Kyurem-White) @ Leftovers
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Flare
I dont always use Eric, but when I do, steel teams shiver in fear. I mainly use him to get rid of Steel threats with my team by spamming Fusion Flare, if Heatran shows up, Eric will use Earth Power to destroy him (Even though Fusion Flare goes right through him with Turboblaze.) Eric also has STAB Draco Meteor and Ice Beam to kill and destroy Dragon Teams all by itself, I also invested EVs into HP instead of Speed to make him super bulky and harder to take down, because why be a glass cannon when you can be a tank? Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Flare
Patrick Roy (Abomasnow) @ Abomasite
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Blizzard
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Protect
Partick may not be a good defensive pokemon, but he is good offensively. I tend to sometimes replace Protect with Ice Shard to finish off pokemon with extremely low HP. Despite Patrick's Set having mostly physical moves, I invested more EVs in Special Attack than Attack to boost his main move: Blizzard. Patrick uses Earthquake and STAB Woodhammer to get rid of Rock types, and Blizzard to get rid of Cradily. His slowness gets in his way though, and he is easily OHKO'd. But other than that, hes good.Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Blizzard
- Wood Hammer
- Earthquake
- Protect
