(Little) Things that annoy you in Pokémon

No, it doesn't. You can KO Kyogre/Groudon too, and fight them again after beating the Elite Four. Not sure how much of a cutscene there is for that fight, but it should be a lot less than for the initial encounter.
Yes, it does. There's still a cutscene even if you defeat it the 1st time around. No matter when you battle Groudon/Kyogre, their primal reversion cutscene will play out the exactly same way. Besides, it doesn't really matter if the cutscene is 2 min or just 30 secs long, that's still a cutscene I wish I could skip.

But there's no post cutscene is there? If so that's the long piece of shit that most people would want to skip.

Yes, there is hence why I find it annoying how you can't skip it.

edit: not sure if I read your post right, you mean after you capture it or ??? Because unlike Xerneas/Yveltal, if you kill it after completing the main story then they're gone for good.

I always stood by that before you did a battle with a Legendary and right after that battle you should have a quick moment of repose. Before the battle to let you save and do some last second party preparations and after the battle to check the Legendary if you caught it. I understand they want to make encountering the mascot a Legendary an epic cinematic experience but here's the thing, I'm playing a game and I might want to catch the Legendary and I may want it to at least have a good nature. It's a bit of a conflict, to make a scene more cinematic they must remove control from the player but the player may want to do some thing which isn't exactly cinematic. At that point I think they should remember that this is a game and overall this is the player's story, if the player wants to soft reset for a good mascot Legendary then they should be allowed to without having to wade through cutscenes. It's alright for a climatic battle against the big bad, infact if they really want to do this they should make you unable to catch the Legendary like they did in BW2. The end of BW2's story felt cinematic since I couldn't catch Kyurem thus there was no reason for me wanting to save between battles and I could go all out.

NEW ANNOYANCE: Low Legendary IVs. While it was very much appreciated that now Legendaries will have at least 3 stats at 31 IVs, I still think one more thing should be done: make it so no IV is under 20. This is a Legendary, a Pokemon of a myth who I'm told power could destroy the planet. Also I can't breed it and there's no way to increase its IVs. Yet here I am soft reseting a Legendary and often getting stats below 20 and even below 10. And sure I'm mainly looking for it to have the right nature and IVs placed in the right spots, but usually when I would at first find a Legendary that seemed "good enough", I'd find that nope, it's IVs in a certain stat are low.
I'd personally even go further like make it so that each Legendary had one or two of their 31 IVs in one of the stats they excel in, but I think at that point that might be taking control away from the player to decide how they want their Legendary to be.

Eh, I would say none between 10-20 instead. That way we can get Trick Room Legendaries and Special Attackers with less fear of Foul Play/Confusion damage.

This isn't restricted to gen 6, but generally legendary Pokemon with pressure. Firstly, it is such a lazy ability to slap on a Pokemon, and secondly, it's so annoying that you have to wait for the "___ is exerting its pressure" every time you send it into battle. The same could be said about a lot of other abilities, like intimidate and frisk etc., but I can't think of anything as utterly useless as pressure.
Unnerve is almost as bad. I swear to god they give that to things they wanted to have a dream world ability, but didn't want to have one that was actually useful.

Unnerve is more useful in VGC thanks to the Item Clause, which is likely what GF was thinking of when they did this. And virtually everything that has it as a Hidden Ability already have good abilities like Sand Stream (T-tar), Mold Breaker (Haxorus), Technician (Persian) or their name is Mewtwo.

...or they are mediocre-to-just-horrible in the VGC environment, or their name is Mewtwo. Then Unnerve does become useful, since you're stopping Thundurus from popping a Sitrus or letting Smeargle/Amoongus sleep everything without those pesky Lum Berries in the way.

They completely removed Battle Factory!! Gen 5 had Rental Master in PWT, but Gen 6 has nothing but windy darkness! In spite of the fact that EV training can be done so casually in Gen 6, figuring out which Pokemon you should use is pretty dang hard, especially since new Pokemon are always being added. Playing Battle Factory oftentimes demonstrated for me a certain Pokemon's strategy, and really gave me inspiration for what I'd want to hand raise myself!

And actually, thinking about it, every generation had at least one way of playing with Random Pokemon. Gen 1&2 had Stadium with Free Battle/Challenge Cup (for Stadium 2), Gens 3 and 4 had Battle Factory (along with that one colosseum in PBR), and Gen 5 had that Rental Master tournament.

Not to mention how fun it was, never knowing what you'd get, and constantly improving your posse!

May: "Hey, congrats on getting the Meteorite back! I'm heading back to Mauville now, wanna come with?"
"No thanks, I actually want to go down 115, strange as that may sound. Just some extra training is all."
"Okay!"

Brendan: "Hey, congrats on beating Flannery! I'm heading to Petalburg now, wanna come with?"
"No thanks, I actually wanna hit the desert on 111 and grab that Fossil."
"Okay!"

Wally: "Hey, congrats on beating your dad! I'm heading to Mauville now, wanna come with?
"No thanks, I was thinking of doing some extra training. You know those water routes I had to sail on to get to Dewford and Slateport? Now that I have Surf, I figured I might as well clean those up. Lots of goodies, too."
"TOO BAD, YOU'RE COMING WITH ME ANYWAY!"

Seriously, Wally?

I keep forgetting to post on this thread but I got some stuff:
1. Why does the Battle Spot ranked mode show your win/loss record every time you look for a matchup? I don't want to remember the time that guy's Primal Groudon managed to get a double crit on Eruption, but it shows up there anyway.
2. Speaking of Battle Spot, why are nicknames disabled in there? I always thought that made no sense because they already have a filter. It also takes away from the individuality of the Pokémon themselves. If my Mega Mawile's name doesn't show up (and I really do like its name), then literally nothing distinguishes it visually from another Mega Mawile. This is even more apparent in VGC 2016, what I play, because there's no diversity, so I'm bound to see a lot of Mega Mawile that look the exact same as mine.
3. Speaking of nicknames, why do Pokémon with foreign names revert to their Pokémon name when they evolve? What's up with that?

I personally don't like the fact that they felt the necessity to change the cries of Pokémon in X&Y and ΩRαS.
While some of them remain more or less unaltered, they unfortunately completely botched a couple of the other ones though.
One notable concrete example is Pelipper no less, I mean good gracious, it sounds like a choking toddler in Gen VI.
It gets especially annoying if you're cycling around at the Battle Resort and you get welcomed by that horrible cry at every single corner of the island.

Maybe it's just me and to everybody else it's the most radiant sound that has ever been blessed upon their souls, but I personally hate it.

I'm sure they changed Corphish's "hungh huh huh!" cry. I don't believe in heresy, but I think they are really asking for it in this instance!

Good gracious, it appears that I'm clearly not the only one that prefers the old cries over the new ones.

Kyogre is an additional concrete prime example of such Pokémon in question.
Its eardrum hemorrhage inducing cry is as pleasant as someone scratching a blackboard while holding a crying baby during a fire alarm.
No but in all seriousness, why did they feel the necessity to change certain cries?
I guess we'll never find out.

"Congratulations, ORAS just handed you a freaking Legendary with its Mega Stone!"
That's cool, but I have my team already and I'd prefer not to use the OP-as-fuck Eon@Eonite. Off to Box 2 with you, if you please--
"Your party is full! Please select a mon to send to your PC!"

Really?

(Although I'm actually tempted to change my team around, just for the novelty of Mega Latios actually being useful.)

Exclusion of popular Battle Facility: You know, if you don't want to add in the Battle Frontier fine, but could you at least find a place that does the Battle Factory gimmick? Of the two Battle Frontiers we got, in addition to the Battle Tower they also kept the Battle Factory. Which makes sense, it's a fun idea and the only Facility anyone can do right off the bat since it all involves around rental Pokemon and swapping out for better ones as you battle through. Heck, though not exactly the same, even Gen V's Pokemon World Tournament had rental Pokemon. But not so in Gen VI. Like I think you can easily combine it with the rather pointless Battle Institute, maybe throwing in some of the other non-Battle Tower (of its expies) in their too in future games like Inverse Battles (I wonder if they'll keep Sky Battles or realized they put their money on the wrong new battling mechanic).

Battle Facility Multi-player: Also, why did they include a multi-player aspect to the Battle Facilities, especially in games that had wi-fi/online capability? Like make the players race through the Battle Facilities such as the Pyramid & Pike; see who can last as long as they could in ones like the Palace, Arena, Arcade, & Hall; have the players get through and prepare to battle each other in Factory & Castle; or just letting us use the mechanics.

When I think about it: I think they missed an opportunity with Unown and Abilities.

The TCG gives each letter a special ability, named after the letter they represent, and they could have done this with the Unown in FR/LG, D/P/P/HG/SS, and missed the final opportunity in B/W and the Dream World such as giving Theta-Unown Technician, for example.

This would make each letter unique, if not an even greater enigma. It's a pity they haven't done this, and likely never will.

They still could do a Hidden Ability that would be unique for each letter. I mean it's not like other Pokemon DIDN'T get hidden abilities a generation or so later.

I wish they could buff Unown so that they are not just gimmicks.
I like the concept of Unown and I used to write in Unowns to my friends back when I was in elementary school.
Plus it was a psychic type, which everyone back then assumed it would be strong.

But ah well, as if they'd ever buff Farfetch'd or Dunsparce.
