This is my first thread and also my first RMT! I'm hoping nothing is wrong with it, so I don't get banned/locked... Enough with that! Lets get the team analysis started!

Changes are marked in red!

New/Option Sentences are marked in green!

448.png
Main Sweeper
Luke Skywalker (Lucario) @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extreme Speed
- Crunch

My favourite Pokemon in general is Lucario, and for good reasons. Lucario belongs in the "What the hell are you going to do" group. It's almost unpredictable, although this set is more than likely it's most common and effective set. Once Lucario sets up an SD, with max attack, it's attack stat hits an astronomical 700. Close Combat is Lucario's strongest move, and with a SD up along with Life Orb, CC can OHKO Sylveon's. Extreme Speed is used over Bullet Punch to outrun and kill Talonflames, or other strong priority which would normally destroy Lucario. Crunch is now used over Ice Punch to cover Ghost types which would completely wall Lucario.

530.png
Spinner
Excavation (Excadrill) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 176 HP / 60 Atk / 20 SDef / 252 Spd 72 HP / 184 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head

Excadrill was the great Ubers Pokemon, and is great even without SD. I run Excadrill with Max Speed to make sure I can get a Rapid Spin off if needed. EQuake with Mold Breaker is used for obvious reasons, Gengar won't live, and EQuake is just amazing in general. Stealth Rock is used over Rock Slide for Rocks, duh. Iron Head normally 2HKO's any Fairies, or things that EQuake can't hit hard. Attack EVs are new to guarantee OHKO on Rotom-W.

663.png
Lead
Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Sleep Talk / (Tailwind?)

All credit goes to Nog: Brave Bird and Flare Blitz are Talonflame's main source of damage and giving it a band only increases this fact. U-turn is for scouting and swapping out of unfavorable match ups while still maintaining momentum. The last slot always is different for everyone; before i picked up Sleep Talk I always used Tail Wind simply because when you are about to die you help out your teammates. Sleep Talk is to absorb sleep with little worries. Tailwind is an okay option once Talonflame is on low health. Now that Venusaur is an official team member, I may not need Talonflame is sleep absorb.

490.png

Manaphy @ Leftovers Main Special Attacker
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- Tail Glow

All credit still goes to Nog: Surf is for obvious reasons, its hardest STAB and main source of damage against things. Ice Beam is for them pesky dragons such as Garchomp, Dragonite, and the Lati twins. This is where it gets a little weird in the set. The set I mainly use has psychic on it for Mega Venusaur and Assault Vest Conkeldurr so that I am not walled by them. Hitting them hard with a surprise Psychic is really beneficial and grass coverage can be picked up by a teammate anyway. Tail Glow is really the only reason people use Manaphy so you really cannot NOT have it.

003.png

003-m.png
Switch-In/Staller
Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll --> Thick Fat
IVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef 252 HP / 194 Def / 64 SDef
Bold Nature
- Synthesis
- Giga Drain
- Leech Seed
- Sludge Bomb / (Sleep Powder?)

Venasaur has arguably one of the best Mega Evolutions in the game. With massive bulk, Venasaur is a tough cookie to break and a great switch-in to many threats. Synthesis, Giga Drain and Leech Seed are for stalling purposes, together they regenerate health extremely fast. Sludge Bomb can do better damage than Giga Drain on bulky Grass Types, etc. Sleep Powder is currently a choice, not sure which is better as each have saved my life in different situations (help me choose :P). Def EVs + Nature let Venu live Choice Band Max Atk Talonflame Brave Birds and KO back with Sludge Bomb.

635.png
Wallbreaker
Sharkeisha (Hydreigon) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Rash Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Superpower
- Dark Pulse

Hydreigon is one of my favorite Pokemon. I don't know, I just get a feel when it comes out it's going to destroy all hope of all Pokemon. Rash Nature is used because I'm mixed, Expert Belt is because Hydreigon usually carries a move that is Super-Effective against the foe. Draco Meteor is ridiculously powerful, with the power to OHKO plenty of things not resisting it. Fire Blast covers Steels trying to eat up Draco's. Superpower is used to knockout special defensive Steel's, Rock's, or Blissey/Chansey. Dark Pulse is just filler, even though it hits some things harder than Fire Blast.

Past Pokemon!
473.png
Fake Lead
Mamoswine @ Focus Sash (Talonflame)
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake

Mamoswine was used for being a fake lead where as Greninja would come in to kill their lead that would try killing Mamo. Ice Shard is great priority, amazing for revenge-killing and doing last second damage. Icicle Crash is just for more damage on things it can outspeed. Stealth Rock for obvious reasons. Earthquake again, for obvious reasons.

658.png
Lead/Special Attacker
Greninja @ Life Orb (Manaphy)
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Grass Knot

As explained above, Greninja was my REAL lead. When it came in a lot of things took a lot of damage. Hydro Pump is Greninja's best move and punches holes through almost anything. Ice Beam is great coverage and insanely powerful it OHKO's Multiscale Full Health Dragonair's. Dark Pulse is mainly for Aegislash, but it hits other Psychic/Ghost hard too. Grass Knot hits Tyranitar harder than Hydro Pump and is more reliable, and it helps negate incoming Spore's.

310.png
-->
310-m.png
Special Sweeper
Beedoo (Manectric) @ Manectite (Mega Venusaur)
Ability: Lightningrod --> Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Overheat

Manectric was outclassed until Mega Evolutions come. Mega Manectric comes with decent bulk, but amazing Speed/SAtk. I usually switch in Manectric when I know an Electric move is coming to get a great 1+ boost. HP [Ice] kills Ground Types such as Gliscor, Garchomp. TBolt is used over Thunder for more reliability, it still hits like a truck though. Volt Switch is to get extra damage off and switch on something Manectric can't hurt, and Overheat is mainly for Aegislash's, Trevenant's, or anything Manectric can't hurt with the other three moves.

Current Options!
009.png
-->
009-m.png
Special Offensive Spinner
Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Rain Dish --> Mega Launcher
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 HP / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Water Pulse / Hydro Pump / Scald
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam / Dragon Pulse

Blastiose is an option over Venusaur for a few reasons. Venusaur is more of a switch-in and extra special attacker. Blastoise hits harder while having similar bulk, but lacking speed. Blastoise also can serve as a backup spinner, which is always fantastic. Rapid Spin is to knock away the hazards that stop my team, most namingly Talonflame. Water Pulse/Hydro Pump/Scald is a tough choice, Water Pulse is the most reliable and hits decently, Hydro Pump is less reliable but hits much harder, and Scald has the burn effect. Dark Pulse stops spin blockers from blocking you. Ice Beam is a viable option for Super Effective coverage against Grass and Dragon types which commonly check Water types. Dragon Pulse receives a Mega Launcher boost and can hit Dragons like Goodra and Charizard X harder than Ice Beam, but it's generally an inferior option. Max SpA EVs and Modest nature propels Blastoise's special attack to a whopping 405. HP EVs are for maximum bulk, usually guaranteeing a hit or a spin off.

Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Moxie/Hyper Cutter --> Aerilate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack
- Earthquake
- Frustration

If you read above, these are Pokemon who change two Pokemon. Self-explanatory, if I use Pinsir then it replaces Venusaur AND Lucario, so I'll need to find a replacement for Mega Venusaur. Swords Dance boosts Mega Pinsir's 155 Base Attack Stat to levels to a godly 818 with Jolly. After a SD is up, Quick Attack is so powerful is 2HKO's Azumarills like nothing. Earthquake is perfect coverage covering the common Aegislash counter, and Frustration is used over Return so Dittos have a Base 1 Power attack. Oh, did I mention +2 Frustration can OHKO a Gliscor?

+2 252 Atk Aerilate Mega Pinsir Return vs. 252 HP / 184+ Def Gliscor: 321-378 (90.6 - 106.7%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO

006.png
-->
006-mx.png

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze --> Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake

Charizard X is arguably the best sweeper in OU as of now. Dragon Dance is my personal favourite boosting move boosting both of the most important stats for most sweepers, Attack and Speed. From there, Charizard reaches godly power, Outrage and Flare Blitz are it's main STAB moves, Outrage is usually used once all the Fairies are gone, Flare Blitz to deal with the Fairies. Earthquake rounds up very good coverage on things FlareRage can't do anything to.

195.png

Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic

Remember how I said that these would change two Pokemon? Quagsire is the one I would use over Venusaur. Unaware is the only real reason everyone uses the thing, it stops setup sweepers in their tracks pretty nicely. EVs and Nature are made for Physical Bulk, but a little for SDefense. Earthquake is the main attacking move, awesome move, etc. Scald can be used to hit things EQuake can't, or try to cripple physical attackers. Recover is used to.. Recover. Finally, Toxic is used with Recover to toxic stall opponents.

Thanks To!
~ Nog: Made the Manaphy/Talonflame sets, thank you very much.

That's all on this team! That's all, let the feedback commence!

Hey BurningFury101, saw your team hadn't been shown some love yet so I thought I'd hook you up. To start this off your team is INSANELY weak to fight typing. Fight type moves are ever present in the OU meta game and eat whole teams alive if it goes unresisted. To keep that from happening to this team, I suggest swapping out Greninja for a Manaphy. Here is the set:
Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- Tail Glow
Surf is for obvious reasons, its hardest STAB and main source of damage against things.

While the Manaphy change was much needed to at least give you a check to fighting types and Mega Venusaur, you are not completely home free. You still are lacking a resist for fighting type, so we will give you one now. That being said, you should try running Talonflame over Mamoswine. Talonflame is a great revenge killer and scout, having access to Flare Blitz and Brave Bird give a nice chunk of the meta some trouble. Now that you have a Manaphy on your team, Talonflame can do a lot more for your team than Mamoswine previously could. Here is the Talonflame set:
Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Sleep Talk
Brave Bird and Flare Blitz are Talonflame's main source of damage and giving it a band only increases this fact. U-turn is for scouting and swapping out of unfavorable match ups while still maintaining momentum. The last slot always is different for everyone; before i picked up Sleep Talk I always used Tail Wind simply because when you are about to die you help out your teammates. Since then I have really only used Talonflame on teams that have sleeping issues and thus Sleep Talk was the easy fix. For your team Sleep Talk doesn't seem to be a bad idea seeing as you have no sleep absorber and would have to sac something in the match to deal with it. The EV's are really straight forward as is the nature, so I won't be talking about them.

Now that Mamoswine has been swapped out, assuming you take what I said into account, you are left with no Stealth Rocks. You can swap out Rock Slide OR Iron Head on Excadrill for Stealth Rock because having them almost always makes things better. As far as which one you take off, I will leave for you to decide. Iron Head is for fairy coverage, flinch hax, and is a strong STAB move overall, while Rock Slide is purely for coverage of things like Mandibuzz, Talonflame, and Mega Pinsir.

The last thing that I needed to get across isn't really worth an entire paragraph and likely won't take up that much space. Because Life Orb is taking 10% away from your health, having an odd number of HP allows the recoil to be reduced to 9%. If you didn't understand where I was going with that I was merely saying that you should take the 4 HP EV's on Lucario and place them into a defensive stat. After those changes the team should be running much more smoothly and shouldn't run into a single fighting type sweeping them. Good luck with the team in the future and don't hesitate to ask me for some more help if you need it.

Thanks for the feedback, Nog! I can agree that yes, I do have weakness to fighting types. I'm most definitely taking that Talonflame into account as it is great for priority, and being a sleep absorber also takes place of what Greninja mainly did. I'm still thinking about Manaphy though, but I'll use the Pokemon you gave me as replacement and see how it fares out against 8-2. Anyways, thanks again!

Edit: Random noob question, how do I make spoilers? xD
