All items will be interesting when there is only one in-battle effect item owned by either of us that will have an effect (ignoring the berries that I won't consume this early in ASB), that being ccc's Skull Fossil (I own some mega-stones, a soothe bell, and a moon stone, but those won't work on my pokemon). I suppose his one functioning item makes up for my team's small type advantage.

If Syclar is under the effects of a successful p/e move, then use Harden a1 or a2 and Iron Defense a3, and replace the following actions with Head Smash and Rock Slide, in that order. If activated multiple times, the latter activation takes priority.

Head Smash+Head Smash combo is 0.0625 damage shy of an OHKO (unless I get a lucky crit) :( So close. I wouldn't use that combo anyways, due to only 64% accuracy, but I wish I could have used an OHKOing combination.

So Crassus the Aron, and Lullin the Syclar, were sent out! Type advantage dictates that Crassus would be superior, but who knows? Lullin starts out by summoning a hailstorm in the arena, which is nice to deal some chip damage over time. But what's this? Aron attempts to smash its head into Lullin, but will it work? Yes, it does, and did it not work was a better question! That single move there took down half of Lullin's health, with no ill consequences for Aron because of Rock Head! Lullin gets back up though and fires off an Earth Power, but, although it dealt quite a bit of damage, Lullin didn't do nearly as much to Crassus as Crassus did to Lullin! Noting that the strategy of smashing your head into the opponent did work, Crassus does it again, doing enough damage, plus a little bit more, needed to KO Lullin! This is the first, and probably only, 2HKO I've ever seen, and will ever see, in my ASB career!​

I'm still wishing it had Heavy Metal so I could have OHKOed with the Head Smash+Head Smash combo, while consuming less energy. I suppose that a 2HKO is still an impressive achievement.

Eager for revenge, colourcodedchaos sends out Anning the Cranidos! One would say that Crassus will win again due to type advantage, but let’s see what Anning has up her sleeve. First, using the power invested in all Rock types, Crassus boosts his defenses of iron! Anning then decides to create a huge Earthquake! Crassus thinks he can hang on with Sturdy, but Mold Breaker prevents it from happening, dealing quite a bit of damage! Crassus takes the time to boost up its defenses of iron once again. Anning proceeds to bring down her arm on top of Crassus like a hammer, causing even more damage, but as it turns out, it also takes some damage due to said iron defenses! Anning sends out another massive Earthquake, finishing off Crassus for good, but wait, it lives with 3 HP! What an intense battle! Then Crassus pulls off an Endeavor, dealing massive damage! The hail brings him down to 1 HP! It only has 1 move left, so Crassus better make it count.​

Cranidos actually has 37 HP and 72 EN. Aron's Defense would not decay since Iron Defense was used on the round's last action, leaving Aron at +5 Defense.
