This is a pretty cool way to lure Amoonguss and Venusaur. Manaphy avoids the 2HKO from standard defensive Amoonguss and OHKOs after a tail glow. You don't lose much as this set would normally run energy ball or psychic anyway. Starmie and Slowbro will be a bit more difficult, but not really much of a bother imo. There's an extra calc if you happen to have three spikes up as well.
