>>> I M P O R T A B L E <<<

Hi my name is DDPX and I wanted to post at least one of my teams before SM ends. I'm not the best player, but I intend to get better so please help me with my team. I've asked OU and RMT chat room on PS for help on my team. This is the product of their overlooked help.

I'd also like to apologize for not having any creative themes, for the readers.

Before I begin, I'll list some appealing details about this team:
  • This team has every hazard bar webs in it's arsenal,
  • hazard control of it's own,
  • contains a scarf user,
  • two Intimidate users,
  • and a Tapu (terrain control).

Mawile has trouble with Mew, defensive Lando and so on. Greninja aids Mawile with those in turn of Mawile's damage and/or removal of Chansey, Tangrowth, etc. Latios is there for the bulky poisons: Venu and Pex (whom can take hits from both Mawile and Latios), as well as when things get out of hand (ex: ZardX and Volcarona).
mawile-mega.png

Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate / Hyper Cutter
EVs: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
Considering Mawile is the best mega (in my opinion), there was very little reason not to use this monster. Every team needs a wall-breaker, and Mawile supplies such and a somewhat strong priority user. Knock Off is an essential move for Mawile on this team, it's utility is quite helpful. The 64 HP EVs make it so it doesn't get 2HKO'd by Venusaur's HP Fire and Earthquake.

0 SpA Venusaur-Mega Hidden Power Fire vs. 64 HP / 0 SpD Mawile-Mega: 108-128 (42 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0- Atk Venusaur-Mega Earthquake vs. 64 HP / 0 Def Mawile-Mega: 108-128 (42 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 88 Def Venusaur-Mega: 208-245 (57.3 - 67.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Sucker Punch vs. 248 HP / 88 Def Venusaur-Mega: 224-264 (61.7 - 72.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Now please understand that if you use 64hp Mawile you will be slower than max speed Marowak, and it can in turn get free rocks or cripple your Mawile with Wisp. However 184 speed does still outspeed Speed-Crept-Skarmory (24ev Skarm reaches 182) and other walls/pivots.

greninja-ash.png

Greninja-Ash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Water Shuriken
- Spikes
A standard, but effective, Greninja set. This is another wall-breaker of sorts, only on the special side. Unlike Mawile, Greninja actually has a phenomenal speed stat which means it's also considered a reliable revenge killer (another attribute every team needs, check!). Greninja also provides utility with spikes and yet another priority move. Spike up when your opponent goes into their appropriate check/counter to Greninja and let the havoc accumulate. Most of this is wide-spread knowledge amongst the community so i'll go on to the next mon.
latios.png

Latios @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Trick
- Defog

Mawile and Gren both have problems with bulky Poison types, namely Venusaur and Toxapex, as well as other obnoxious mons. Latios covers those Poison types, as well as providing hazard removal and a scarf user on the team. Trick can also provide a great crippling tool against your future opponents. There isn't much more to say, other than Draco is so strong!

tapubulu.png

Tapu Bulu @ Assault Vest
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 36 Def / 72 SpD / 148 Spe
Impish Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Horn Leech
- Superpower
- Nature's Madness / Stone Edge

Tapu Bulu, the best Tapu (in my opinion), provides this team with a well-needed bulky grass type. Spore is such a nuisance and I really hate Breloom, so Bulu made the cut. I know you see that 36def and an impish nature, but don't worry, it's for lele's psyshock. During Playtesting my Bulu repeatedly got 2HKO'd by Specs Lele's Psyshock and thus this was put in place.

252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 36+ Def Tapu Bulu: 153-181 (44.4 - 52.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 72 SpD Assault Vest Tapu Bulu: 144-169 (41.8 - 49.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 72 SpD Assault Vest Tapu Bulu: 128-152 (37.2 - 44.1%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

I didn't feel the added attack in the standard set was necessary so I added it to the defense, as I said, and the leftover IVs were placed in SpDef. AV Bulu sponges hits from non-Ice Beam Ash Gren, both physical and special Koko, and lastly Lele. In return, Bulu can almost OHKO every one of those with a Horn Leech, and in the case it doesnt, you have Wood Hammer. Natures Madness is also a great chipping too with no mon (other than shedninja) immune to it.

toxapex.png

Toxapex @ Payapa Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Haze
- Recover
I'm sure many people will agree with me when I say that Pex might be one of the most annoying mons to face. However on this team, Pex was a desperate call to counter ZardY as well as other fire types and powerful special attackers such as Ash Gren. Pex gives heavy utility in Scald, Tspikes, Haze and an overall Pivot for your offensive core. This is another well-known set by the community, however I chose Payapa berry. I ran into problems with Z-Psychic Volcarona and Protean Gren with Extrasensory. That berry allows you to eat those psychic attacks and in return Haze the stat changes or recover off (My opponents would reveal Extrasensory on Gren when they wanted to finish off my Pex). The 8 Speed is to outspeed speed-crept mons such as Mega Camerupt and Reuniclus.

landorus-therian.png

Landorus-Therian @ Yache Berry Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 236 Def / 24 Spe 208 Def / 32 SpD / 20 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
The number one usage mon is indeed in this team, and for great reason: I don't have a good physical wall. ZardX runs all over this team and Lando just solves most of the physical attacking threats. It also provides the team with by far the most reliable rocker in the tier and a toxic user. Yache berry is here to live unwarranted and surpise HP Ice's as well as getting toxics off (Ex. Zapdos goes for HP Ice as you toxic). Rocky Helmet is for chip on physical threats, Thanks AGrapeDonutt! HP Fire is for Scizor, as I was informed this team was SD Knock Scizor weak.
Overall, this team works just like any other balance team. You punch through the other team until their punches start coming and you use your backbone wall. This one just has a Mawile and a Ash Gren on it. I want to give a future thanks to the people taking the time reading this.

super random guy (or somethin like that, sorry! That was his actual name!), Latioswar, GrantMJC, ebrazil1 and IsaiahJH.

308-m.png
- Medicham: If you don't have a Mew or a Sableye you're just plain boned. Yeah this team has Yache Berry Lando, but that just doesn't cut it.

127-m.png
- Pinsir: This team doesn't have a steel type. The reason why I don't like running steel types (for defensive purposes) is because all the threats that are walled by steel types are always ran with a Magnezone. Always. This is one price to pay.

798.png
- Kartana: With enough chip on Lando and Mawile, Kartana will not hesitate to run amuck against this team. Especially if it's scarfed.

Please notify me if I did anything wrong, posting wise!

hey bro solid team but something id recommend ALOT is rocky helmet lando over yache berry. So heres why Mega Medicham rips this team hard if played well nothing comes in on High Jump Kid or Ice Punch. BUT heres the thing rocky helmet lets you chip some damage on those high jump kicks AND kartana strikes gets off intimidate and lets you revenge kill with ninja or mawile. also yache berry is good dont get me wrong but most times than not lando will only use that against Kyurem or anything that runs ice punch. As Greninjas will opt for hydro or shuriken against it anyway.
