2kaylmao. This is a fun team that also kinda sucks but what do with a webs team in an already matchup ridden tier. Had a good peak because I played and ladder is trash but awful w/l because I experimented a ton in early stages and had about 1/4 of the losses as games I would've won without hax (ik it's trite but I went from 1400 to 1180 with one legit loss).
Mono is fun, this should not be taken as a totally serious team if it wasn't apparent, but it's probably along the lines of some of an optimized water webs team. The overall playstyle juts happens to be bad. Unrank Surskit imotbh
Also using this sentence to intentionally not tag Scpinion for showcase :v4: I swear every mono rmt does this

Then I got haxed out of 4 and I don't feel like deleting posts to hold back the 2k while I ladder higher

EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sticky Web
- Haze
- Toxic
- Protect
Surskit's ideal moveset imo. I messed around with attacks and stuff, but Surskit is incredibly weak and rarely needs to have any sort of attacking move. Outside of the obligatory webs, Haze is crucial so that nothing sets up on you, and sees tons of use. Protect is amazing as Fake Out is fairly common, not only ladder but also on some actually good things like Mega Lopunny. I prefer Toxic in the last slot as you can actually do like 18% with Protect and sometimes cripple things like Avalugg.
Oh and this is my grass resist :s

@ Choice Band
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Crabhammer
- Aqua Jet
- Double-Edge
This doesn't have switch-ins. That's all you need. Crawdaunt allows the team to break through bulky Dark MSab/Mandi/Tar cores, Chansey/Porygon2 cores, basically anything. You can't switch in, you can only revenge it. This is unfortunately somewhat easy with no bulk investment and still being slower than +speed base 100s, but other than that this thing is great. Jet also cleans Fire, it cant break full health Heatran/Torkoal/Zard Y in Sun, but other than that it's a great late game cleaner for Fire and other types. Double Edge is there because you never need Superpower and it does the most to Azumarill (this is a problem).

swampert-mega.gif
@ Swampertite
Ability: Damp
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
Pert gives rocks and tanks hits, I had only used the Rain Dance set until recently, but I've been running this type of Swampert on two teams recently and it's just so good, an excellent combination of bulk and power. Moveset is totally standard, SR/Dual STAB/Ice coverage mostly for Dnite. The Speed EVs beat Breloom under webs, I don't know any other relevant base 70s of the top of my head.

121.gif
@ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Thunderbolt / Hidden Power Fire
- Ice Beam
Another thing that I'd only exclusively run one set (defensive) until now and then I just fell in love with. I needed this for something strong and fast, it doesn't have Rapid Spin because that wasn't actually why I ran it in the first place. This thing is your main weapon versus Fighting teams, basically OHKOing everything not named Conkeldurr or Gallade. After that Hydro is great STAB that is basically Crawdaunt level stupid with Analytic, Tbolt hits Azumarill and Gyarados, and Ice Beam Starmie makes the Flying matchup not a 100% guaranteed loss. Ended up with Psychic but I still have no idea what's better.
This definitely has the most customizability for anybody looking to steal. Dazzling Gleam and Rapid Spin are both things I've run in the past.
Slashed HP Fire as per Arifeen's rate, I don't see a reason not to since Tbolt is fairly filler anyway but will keep it as first slash because Keldeo is my singular mega gyara check

647.gif
@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Icy Wind
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Scald
Standard Scarf Keldeo is still very effective on Webs. It's sort of like Trick Room where you want that one fast thing to act as insurance for DD Mega Gyarados / Scarf Moxie Mence / comparable fast sweepers not affected by webs. This will literally never be dead weight, it's great versus Dark/Rock/everything. You will likely need this with Icy Wind to revenge a lot of stuff and it's also the main way to hit Kyurem-Black which is another massive threat although somewhat mitigated by matchup.

171.gif
@ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 204 SpD / 52 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Ice Beam
- Sucker Punch / Signal Beam
I am in love with Lanturn, this thing is a god even if there will occasionally be matchups where you have to just sacrifice it. It's a catch-all pivot for special attackers, it gets the chip damage you need on things like Mega Gardevoir for everything else to revenge it and counters plenty of weaker things. It also helps a buttload versus Flying, nothing really wants to switch in, it can beat Togekiss if it doesnt get 8 flinches and counter non-Toxic Zapdos/Thundy-I and also makes the rare Electric matchup even easier. First three moves are totally standard while the last slot is almost never used. Sucker Punch is on because why not get chip damage and random surprise KOs/sash breaks, you can run Signal Beam if it's overly meme.

130.gif
@ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Substitute
- Bounce
- Waterfall
Non Mega Bounce is an underrated setup for Gyara. I could've run Mega but preferred the STAB flying coverage and ability to run sub/lum but it never really fit, with no rocks and no way to remove rocks to make it more effective this ended up getting the boot. About as meme as Sucker Lanturn too.

Type Matchups + Threatlist - In your favor / Even / In their favor / haha you lose

Normal
Close and barely in your favor but Keldeo is great, Webs are guaranteed vs non-Defog Raptor teams and those with it are normally bulkier and manhandled by Crawdaunt. Lopp+Diggers is a pain tho

Fighting
Webs is great versus Fighting if you can get them up, but Taunt Coballion/Infernape leads mess with that. Hawlucha is also an issue that can never be allowed to set up, Mega Gallade is a huge threat since nothing can OHKO, but Starmie and Swampert fare fairly well

Flying
This is obviously a pain since Surskit is useless, but it's not totally impossible. Their hard hitters are difficult and Scarf Lando/Thundy-I or whatever outspeed everything but Keldeo, but CB Jet / Scarf Icy Wind / nothing switching into Starmie / Lanturn give you some counterplay

Poison
Surprisingly difficult, Starmie is your best bet versus Mega Venu, Tenta can spin, Gengar is a bitch, and if Drapion Pursuits Starmie you might as well click the x. Get Crawdaunt in and break them ASAP.

Ground
Water beats ground, Crawdaunt+Keldeo+Starmie is pretty damning. The only issue is that, outside of Toxic Surskit and CB Daunt, you basically just lose to Gastrodon and Seismitoed can be an issue to play around.

Rock
I faced this like once on ladder but Keldeo + CB Aqua Jet is kinda dumb. Mega Diancie sucks though, any Magic Bounce is a pain

Bug
You can generally overpower Bug with Daunt+Keldeo+Starmie and match their Galvantula webs with Surskit. If they have a Forretress don't lead Surskit, just throw out something that 2HKOs it as it goes for SR. Leaning on even and I have lost this but I'd call this in your favor, especially with Webs up Daunt just smacks it around

Ghost
Crawdaunt is pretty nice, once again this could lean on even especially with the issues Jellicent and Mega Sableye can bring but it's just hit too hard by Daunt. They're probably gonna lead Sableye so just go Lanturn and Volt out into Daunt on the CM/wisp on Lanturn, worst case scenario it's at 6% and you're burned

Steel
Spam Swampert+Crawdaunt+Keldeo and win, a very well played Scpinion Steel is probably the worst you can get and it's still pretty nice. Don't webs vs Bisharp

Fire
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-300437743 lol

Water
Azumarill is a bitch, Ludicolo is a bitch, but on your side they often don't have shit for webs and Starmie is amazing

Grass
Close to impossible, Surskit is your resist, Ferrothorn can stack hazards on you, Mega Venusaur is a win

Electric
It should be weird calling this easy, but between Lanturn and Swampert and generally being faster and Daunt breaking stuff...really not a problem

Psychic
You will win or lose depending on the team. Fatter shit gets beaten by Daunt/Starmie+webs and Pert+Lanturn generally check their attackers, but if they have Taunt+Dual hazards Deo-s or even fucking Espeon this could be a pain

Ice
Can be annoying since Kyurem-Black is such as massive pain to the team but in general you can spam Keldeo and get a kill with Starmie when they go Avalugg

Dragon
This is fucking dumb, unlike on Ice you can't click Secret Sword for free on Kyurem Black because they have Latis/Dragalge, you need SR for Dnite and CB Espeed still takes off a load, Daunt is next to useless and Pert gets worn down

Dark
Borderline easy but can sometimes be a pain. They just don't have anything for Crawdaunt and once you've smacked Sableye around Keldeo is a win

Fairy
Mega Gardevoir is a thing that needs to get worn down by Lanturn and most of their stuff is only killable by Crawdaunt, which is weak to their stuff. OTR Diancie is also a pain so keep Pert healthy, and TR Gardevoir beats out Keldeo and Starmie. Spam Daunt hard

General Threats
Kyurem Black sucks
Magic Bounce sucks
Taunt leads suck
Rapid Spin leads suck
Dual screens suck

Replays would go here but even though I saved a ton of good ones I can't envision anybody caring. Just search Megazard in replays if you wanna see

Yo bud this is a really cool team and I really like the idea that you used Surskit :toast:

  • I think AV Lanturn isn't the optimal set in Monotype because Lanturn checks so many things such as Thundurus, Electric types, as well as checks Dragon-types and your team can benefit a lot from status such a Thunder Wave. Therefore, Leftovers Bulky Lanturn>AV is the optimal set, since that is the most common set for Water Monotypes and the recovery really helps Lanturn. Heal Bell helps your team from burns especially Crawdaunt, since it can KO Mew after getting Burned and then you can switch to Lanturn to heal it.
  • I get that Crawdaunt is really really dangerous, but in your team I believe Life Orb Swords Dance is better since it can force a lot of switches and loves the ability to change its moves. With Life Orb and Webs you can decimate every Psychic, Ground, Rock, Bug and Steel teams as well as Grass teams which gives you easier matchup vs it.
  • Finally, since you have Electric-type coverage, and you have stated that Ferrothorn is a nuisance, running Hidden Power [Fire] over Thunderbolt on Starmie is wise.
Good luck bud I really liked the team! :toast:

Slashed HP fire on starmie, I see no reason not to since it cant be bad. I'll test out Lanturn, but on paper I'm dropping Ice Beam and any offensive presence just for Twave (I will most likely drop heal bell on that set though, it's not necessary and IB kinda is) which isn't a great trade. Not to mention SUCKER PUNCH. I really disagree with Crawdaunt though, I'm dropping a significant amount of power to make myself weaker to a ton of stuff (off the top of my head I'm no longer OHKOing Mega Hera and I'm sure there's more) just for a setup opportunity that Daunt doesnt get most games. It also makes it a less efficient cleaner with jet, gets it killing itself faster, and combined with HP fire you just removed my ways to hit Azumarill leaving offensive Megapert and scald burns as my ways to deal with it. I'll edit in defensive Lanturn if I like it though.
