Introduction
Hey and welcome to the first ever Monotype Auth vs Non Auth Tournament! I'm your host, Lax (Laxuy on PS!) and my co-host all falls down will be helping me out with the tour. This is a tournament where the auth in the Monotype Room on 'Pokemon Showdown!' play against those of no authority.
For those wondering, voice and above will be classified as authority due to shortage of staff, so (+, %, @, #) and the rest are not. (Temp voice earned from challenges do not count!)

Since we have a total of 29 auth signed up, there will be a limit to 3 cycles of non-auth (assuming non-auth has no losses). This means up to a total of 87 non-auth may sign up or when we reach the deadline of signups February 7th.​

This could be a good oppurtunity to get drafted midseason for MPL as all the managers are auth!​

Basics:

• For this tournament, all match-ups will be Best of 1
• All games will be in the ORAS format, unless you agree with your opponent otherwise.
• This tour is single elimination.
• POST REPLAYS, this will help keep it organized as well as provide players with match-ups they might not have been able to see.
• This is a friendly tournament. Foul language and sportsmanship will lead to your disqualification.
• This tournament will be a standard and the opponents will be random.
• If you don't get to play Week 1, wait till the next one, there a lot more Non-Auth than Auth, so wait your turn.
• The winning team will be decided when all the players from the opposing team is knocked out
• Decide a time with your opponent. All games will be held within a week of the match-up post (JOHNING IS FROWNED UPON :( ).
• Activity wins will be given to those that post in the thread.
• Match-ups will always be edited onto this post
• If the Non-Auth win, there will be a vote for the MVP of the Non-Auth and they will receive voice for a month! (Discussing this.)
• Don't complain about match-up, you know what you signed up for!
