Regirock is probably going to be an excellent addition to Sand Offence, Stall, semi-stall, balance and has no problems taking on offence due having Strong priority and access to RP. Even with a plethora of sets, an AV set will be its most fierce.

Regirock @ Assault Vest
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Ability: Regenerator
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge / Head Smash
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Ice Punch

Nice set for it. Imma post more sets and discuss other winners later.

Dat new slate looks like they will be buffing eight mons instead of four

I didnt post new sets but.....

SLATE 7: MEGA EVOLUTION SPECIAL

The main difference between this slate and other slates is that while we are buffing four lame-ass Pokemon, we are also fixing their lame-ass megas. The mega stats are left soley on its regular form's buffs, but you can change its primary typing and mega ability if you wish!

Name: Steelix
New Typing: Steel/Ground (no change)
New Abilities: +Solid Rock, -Rock Head; +Strong Jaw, -Sheer Force
New Stats: 95 (+20)/105 (+20)/200/55/105 (+40)/30 (BST: 590)
Movepool Additions: +Recover, +Poison Fang, +Dragon Rush, +Glare
Justification: Solid Rock: Steelix has been described as "harder than diamond". "Solid Rock" doesn't even begin to describe it.
Strong Jaw: Steelix also has a powerful jaw, as shown in the Pokédex entries that describe its digging habits as well as its Super Smash Bros. 4 trophy.
Recover: "It is thought its body transformed as a result of iron accumulating internally from swallowing soil." That, and the fact that effectively eats the soil while digging as its food source. Not that great of justification, I know, but more to the point: The reason Steelix isn't very good competitively is because it doesn't have reliable recovery of any sort. This fixes that.
Poison Fang: Another move to abuse with Strong Jaw (though it doesn't really give any notable coverage Steelix didn't already have).
Dragon Rush: It gets a lot of dragon-associated moves already. That, and I didn't really know what else to give Steelix.
Glare: A lot of snake-based Pokémon get Glare. Steelix, while not strictly based on snakes, definitely looks like one, so this should fit.
Niche in OU: Steelix was a physical tank to begin with, and now it's greatly improved thanks to its higher HP and Special Defense and access to reliable recovery. It still suffers from being very slow, unfortunately, but its great defenses more than make up for it. In addition to that, it also has Solid Rock as an ability, reducing the damage it takes from super-effective moves which only serves to increase its defensive potency. All in all, Steelix is a great choice for teams that need a bulky Pokémon that can also dish out some physical hits with its decent base 105 Attack stat.

Name: Mega Steelix
New Typing: Steel/Ground (no change)
New Abilities: +Rough Skin, -Sand Force
New Stats: 95/145/230/55/135/30 (BST: 690)
Movepool Additions: N/A
Justification: Rough Skin: Well... more like sharp skin. Look at those crystals sticking out of Mega Steelix and the pieces of metal (?) orbiting it.
Niche in OU: Essentially, a straight improvement on regular Steelix. While it loses out on Solid Rock, it gains greater offensive potential and can punish physical attackers very effectively with Rough Skin. Its mixed defensive stats are pretty ridiculous, in all honesty, and to take it down you'll probably need a boosting special attacker; but even then, it's strong offensively, so it won't exactly be setup bait if it has something to hit you with. Mega Steelix is definitely a threat to be wary of.

Name: Glalie
New Typing: Ice/Fire (added Fire typing)
New Abilities: +Sturdy, -Moody (since it's illegal in OU anyway)
New Stats: 80/110 (+30)/90 (+10)/110 (+30)/90 (+10)/110 (+30) [BST: 590]
Movepool Additions: +Flamethrower, +Flare Blitz, +Shell Smash, +Megahorn
Justification: Sturdy: "Glalie has a body made of rock, which it hardens with an armor of ice."
Fire typing: Okay, this might be a bit hard to justify, but... Glalie's face and the horns it has on the top of its head make it look like a monster that's about to breathe fire on its prey. The only difference is that, as it's coated with ice, it breathes ice instead of fire. Why not let it breathe both ice and fire? (Truth be told, this is really only an excuse to do something different... No Ice/Fire types exist at the moment, and for good reason as they contradict each other conceptually, but I thought it would be a fun idea to do this with Glalie as out of all Ice-types it fits being a Fire-type the most, or least least anyway.)
Flamethrower: same as above
Flare Blitz: to give Glalie a powerful physical Fire-type move
Shell Smash: Okay, Glalie doesn't really have a shell to smash, per-se... but it's coated in ice for protection, so it's feasible that it could melt that ice to achieve the same effect.
Megahorn: Glalie has two horns on its head. Becomes more pronounced with its Mega Evolution since it gains a third one there.
Niche in OU: While its Mega Evolution is for the most part better, Glalie has a niche as a powerful Shell Smash sweeper: it has solid 110/110/110 offensive stats to begin with, as well as Sturdy so, if entry hazards aren't up, it doesn't need to use up its item slot on a Focus Sash to be useful. On the flipside, however, Glalie has a horrific defensive typing giving it a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock... but if you're lucky, Glalie won't need to take many hits anyway so it shouldn't be too much of a detriment.

Name: Mega Glalie
New Typing: Ice/Fire
New Abilities: N/A (still Refrigerate)
New Stats: 80/150/90/150/90/130 [BST: 690]
Movepool Additions: same
Justification: N/A
Niche in OU: Essentially, minus its even more pronounced Stealth Rock weakness, Mega Glalie is a direct upgrade to its counterpart in standard play. It has additional coverage in the form of Flamethrower/Flare Blitz, added attack power, and perhaps most importantly, a better speed tier (it's already faster than it is in Standard pre-Mega, and post-Mega it's faster than much of the OU tier). Essentially, it's what Mega Glalie was hyped up to be before its release and so much more.

more later

Name: Audino
New Stats: 150/80/110/80/110/60 --> 150/80/150/100/150/60
New Typing(if any): still Normal --> Normal/Fairy
Movepool Addition(s): Moonblast
New Abilities(if any): Healer / Regenerator / Klutz --> Regenerator
Justification: The flavor is literally the same, except for Moonblast being a better Fairy STAB.
Niche in OU: Wall ALL the things! Oh, and do some big damage while you're at it.

Name: Steelix
New Stats: 90/100/200/70/80/50 --> 90/140/230/70/110/50
New Typing(if any): Steel/Ground
Movepool Addition(s): literally nothing
New Abilities(if any): Sturdy / Sheer Force / Sand Stream ---> Sand Force
Justification: Steelix was always just a sand setter.
Niche in OU: Sand Setter that turns into a Sand abuser.

Name: (Mega) Audino
New Typing: Normal -> Normal/Fairy
New Abilities: Healer/Regenerator/Simple -> Wonder Skin
New Stats: 148/70/106/90/116/60 (BST 590) -> 148/70/146/110/156/60 (BST 690)
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Recover, Focus Blast, Nature Power
Justification: Simple is sort of self-explanatory; Magic Guard seems fitting for Mega Audino, who looks like a magical girl to be honest, but that might just break this so I went with Wonder Skin. Moonblast is there for Mega STAB, Recover for a reliable recovery option, Focus Blast is another move that a silly amount of Normal-type mons learn, and Nature Power is for general Normal-type STAB, as it turns into Tri-Attack.
Niche in OU: Oh boy, this one is the tank that just won't break. 148/146/156 bulk is basically so ridiculous that I'm currently contemplating whether giving it Recover had pushed it over the top. For reference: Hoopa Unbound's Banded Gunk Shot only 2HKOes. Meanwhile, it can setup +2 SpA/+2 SpD Calm Minds in regular forme, then Mega Evolve and sweep as much as it wants. Even without mega evolving, it can still do the coveted Wish + Regenerator combo, healing teammates with its 148 Base HP. You'll have to status or Taunt it if you want any chance of taking it down, but even then Wonder Skin means inflicting a status on it can be difficult. Better get those Toxic Spikes ready, I guess.

Name: (Mega) Camerupt
New Typing: Fire/Ground -> Fire/Ground
New Abilities: Soild Rock/Dry Skin/Mold Breaker -> Sheer Force
New Stats: 105/115/90/130/110/40 (BST 590) -> 105/135/120/170/140/20 (BST 690)
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Superpower, Dark Pulse
Justification: On Dry Skin: It's a living volcano. Of course its skin is going to be dry - the heat would vaporize the water. Mold Breaker is one of those abilities that fits on every fierce mons, and the volcanoes on its back make it more fitting. Kinda. Slack Off is fitting for a bulky quadruped just like Hippowdon, while Superpower and Dark Pulse are there for niche options against Chansey and Mega Latias, respectively.
Niche in OU: Mega Camerupt was already kind of viable in OU, but with this amount of buff, it can now actually switch in and not be destroyed before Mega Evolving. 105/90/110 bulk is pretty great pre-mega, and after mega? 105/120/140 bulk is outright ridiculous, even letting it survive some of the weaker Water-type hits! Sheer Force 170 SpA Fire Blast hits stupidly hard as expected, and with Earth Power, Ancient Power and other moves it can 2HKO most of the tier. Regular Camerupt is viable too - With Dry Skin solving its Water-type weakness, it can act as a pretty decent tank, setting up hazards, firing off Fire Blasts, rendering Rotom-W a sitting duck and whatnot.

Name: (Mega) Glalie
New Typing: Ice -> Ice
New Abilities: Ice Body/Filter/Sturdy -> Refrigerate
New Stats: 120/100/105/85/90/90 (BST 590) -> 120/140/105/125/90/110 (BST 690)
Movepool Additions: Recover, Stealth Rock, Wild Charge, Shell Smash
Justification: Judging by its dex entry, Glaile seems more of a defensive mon, so I went with the regular defensive abilities in Filter and Sturdy. I'd give it a Rock subtype too, but that isn't likely to be viable. Recover is there because Glalie can regenerate its armor by freezing the moisture in the air, Focus Blast and Wild Charge are mostly generic moves, and Shell Smash? See its Mega Evolution, where the jaw part of its armor is smashed open.
Niche in OU: Bulky tank/hazard setter vs Refrigerate sweeper? Yep. With defensive investment, Glalie can actually tank a decent amount of hits, with Recover to stave off the damage and an alright speed for a defensive mon, allowing it to stack hazards decently. Unfortunately, it has no good Physical Ice-type moves to take advantage of Shell Smash - that's where the mega comes in, with Refrigerate giving it powerful STAB Ice-type Returns and Explosions. With its speed stat now in a nice 110 tier, much better bulk, and a great 140 Atk, M-Glalie can either go all-out offensive, or Shell Smash with the aid of Filter/Sturdy before Mega Evolving and stage a sweep. Remember, though, that it's still incredibly weak to priority.

Name: Audino
New Typing: Normal/Fairy > Normal/Fairy
Abilities: Simple / Regenerator > Protean
New Stats: 125/60/116/124/95/70 (BST 590) -> 125/60/156/144/135/70 (BST 690)
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Quiver Dance, Flash Cannon, Boomburst (but only if it isn't broken)
Justification: If Lilligant can dance like a bug, then so can the elegant Audino, and with better supporting abilities to boot!
Niche in OU:The idea here, is to fill the void where I failed to impress with a slow Protean mon. Audino is a sluggish Protean user, albiet it can boost up. It's not broken because the simple boosts can be lost to a single Clear Smog/roar/Haze/Circle Throw so it's not uncounterable. After the loss, sure it's a durable mega and Protean is nice, but it's slow, so that balances it out.

Name: Glalie
New Typing: Ice -> Ice/Rock
New Abilities: Technician -> Refrigerate
New Stats: 80/130/85/80/85/130 (BST 590) -> 80/170/85/120/85/150 (BST 690)
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Shell Smash, Stone Edge, Quick Attack
Justification: A Rock typing would be powerful and fits with the theme of that stone-ass body
Niche in OU: As a godly powerful attacker, there is no Refrigerate user that can come close to competing. And yet... it'll die to Bullet Punch. 44 Atk Scizor Bullet Punch vs. -1 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Glalie: 312-372 (103.6 - 123.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

It is therefore not broken, since it's weak to many forms of priority and doubly to Bullet and Mach Punch.

Name: Camerupt
New Typing: Fire/Ground -> Fire/Ground
New Abilities: Simple/Dry Skin/Sheer Force > Desolate Land
New Stats: 105/110/100/135/100/40 (BST 590) -> 105/130/130/175/130/20 (BST 690)
Movepool Additions: Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, Slack Off
Justification: Camels tend to be dry as fuck. And it's also dopey, a simpleton. It's mega form... do I need to remind people how fun it was to use Desolate Camerupt in Theorymon, eh? Eh?
Niche in OU: The idea is obvious, a slow killer, abusing a strong SpAtk with Desolate Growth. Water Immunity electric immunity, and burn immunity means Rotom-Wash is its bitch, need you any other motivation?

Name: Steelix
New Stats: 120/100/200/50/90/30 (BST 590) --> 120/140/230/50/120/30 (BST 690)
New Typing(if any): Steel/Ground > Steel/Dragon
Movepool Addition(s): Coil, Dragon Rush, Recover, Icicle Crash
New Abilities(if any): Sturdy / Intimidate / Sand Force ---> Sheer Force
Justification: Steelix is a snake-like dragon that gets no respect as one. Coil bare minimum would go so far on this thing like you wouldn't know.
Niche in OU: As a dragon/Steel, there's much improvement. Recover with high defense, a strong ability in sheer force mixed with STAB Iron Tail and Dragon Rush as well as Rock Slide or Stone Edge for coverage or Crunch if you fear things like Bronzong or Icicle Crash for Gliscor or Landorus.

Sorry but none of these are legal as they break both the rules of thread and the rules of this particular Slate. Inelligible until fixed.

Look to Stocke's submissions as an excellent example of how the subs should be handled and refer to page 5 to see the rules about stat deductions.

Cookie Butter

formerly the someone
Name: Camerupt -> Mega-Camerupt
New Typing: Fire/Ground (no change)
New Abilities: Sheer Force/Solar Power/Competitive -> Reckless
New Stats: 70/140/100/140/100/40 (590) -> 70/160/130/180/130/20 (690)
Movepool Additions: Flare Blitz, Double-Edge, Head Smash
Justification: This is completely based on the idea of Camerupt being easily enraged, and self-destructive as a result of that. Sheer Force, Reckless and the recoil moves show that the best, and with them, it can hit really hard. Solar Power is a more niche weather ability, that strengthens it's moves in exchange of HP. Competitive is based on it being competitive (when it gets angered, kinda like Anger Point).
Niche in OU: Camerupt and it's Mega become an insanely strong threat, with stats rivaling that of Primal Groudon's. It can be a very strong mixed attacker, as well as a strong physical or special attacker. Keep in mind that Reckless physical Camerupt is stronger than it's special variant, while the special variant doesn't take recoil damage, has a wider variety of moves and can work as anti-defogger in base. In exchange of all of that, Camerupt kills itself very easily. It's basically what Explosion MegaGlalie is in RU, except Camerupt can kill more than one mon, and it can be healed. Wish support on the same team as Camerupt makes it a more reliable Pokemon.

Name
: Glalie -> Mega-Glalie
New Typing: Ice/Dark (added Dark type to both)
New Abilities: Ice Body/Rain Dish/Intimidate -> Refrigerate
New Stats: 115/100/100/90/100/85 (590) -> 115/140/100/130/100/105 (690)
Movepool Additions: Pursuit, Parting Shot, Recover, Bulk Up
Justification: While Froslass is based on Japanese ice-ghosts and gets Ghost typing, Glalie is based on Japanese demons (onis) and doesn't get anything for it. Dark type fits Glalie, from it's lore to it's design. Parting Shot and Intimidate are also based on the fact that it's a scary Japanese-myth-like creature that causes unpleasant things where it goes. According to the Pokedex, Glalie is able to instantly freeze the moisture in atmosphere to prevent it's prey from escaping, that's why it gets Pursuit, which prevents foes from escaping. Also according to that, it can regenerate or increase it's ice parts with moisture, so Rain Dish, Recover and Bulk Up symbolize that (along with Ice Body that it already had).
Niche in OU: Glalie would share the same type as Weavile, but very different roles. It's base form becomes a very bulky mon (bulkier than Mew) with two possible weather recovery abilities, a recovery move and a free item slot. It gets STAB Crunch and Avalanche/Ice Shard, which hits a bunch of mons super-effectively. However, it's not meant to be a simple tank or wall, since Ice/Dark typing is quite bad defensively. Parting Shot and Intimidate allow it to keep momentum and to fit well in VoltTurn teams, and Recover helps with the Stealth Rock weakness. It heavily hinders the opponent's offense with it's stat lowering shenanigans, and if they try to switch out, STAB Pursuit hits it.
Niche in OU (Mega): As for the Mega, it becomes a stronger offensive version of it's base form. Pre-Mega Intimidate is great against the opponent's physical offense, allowing it to use Pursuit, Bulk Up or Substitute if it tries to switch out. While it's offensive moves are kinda predictable, it's status moves are not, so switching in can be easy, but switching out and allowing set-up can cost you the match. Glalie also gets respectable Ice STAB with Refrigerate as always. Unlike it's pseudo-VoltTurn base set, the Mega would benefit from increasing it's attack and defense with Bulk Up and retaining it for longer.

Name: Steelix
New Typing: Steel/Ground (Steel/Dragon)
New Abilities: Sturdy / Iron Barbs / Sheer Force (Filter)
New Stats: 95 (+20)/105 (+20)/200/55/95 (+30)/40 (+10) (BST: 590) -> 95/145/230/55/125/40 (BST: 690)
Movepool Additions: +Coil, +Spikes, +Outrage, +Glare
Justifications: Steelix is a giant Metal burrowing snake with large metal spikes in each joint. That supports Glare, Coil, Spikes and Iron Barbs in one swift movement. Outrage seems plausible as it looks mighty angry. Filter and Its mega Dragon part typing are based on diamonds being extremely durable and also transparent (Filter) and its draconic appearance.
Niche in OU: Vanilla Steelix is a great physical tank with massive bulk and near Mew level special bulk. Access to two different forms of hazards, Glare and phazing makes it a prime member for defensive teams. Mega Steelix on the other hand, trades lefties, STAB Earthquake the abilty to punish physical attackers with Filter, a surperior defensive typing and offensive presence. Mega Steelix hits hard for a defensive pokemon with Heavy Slam. Combine it with Coil and it becomes a powerful bulky setup sweeper. It checks many physical attackers in the metagame thanks to its bulk and Filter.

Name: Camerupt
New Stats: 100/110/95/120/90/75 -> 100/130/125/160/120/55
New Typing: Fire/Ground -> Fire/Ground
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Heat Crash, Scald
New Abilities: Flame Body, Solid Rock, Dry Skin -> Drought
Justification: Flame Body, Dry Skin and Drought were added because... well, it's a volcano. Slack Off provides reliable recovery, Scald was added because some geysers are considered volcanoes, and Heat Crash takes advantage of Camerupt's above-average weight.
Niche in OU: A bulky sun setter that can take advantage of its weather
Example Sets

Name: Glalie
New Stats: 90/110/90/105/90/105 -> 90/150/90/145/90/125
New Typing: Ice/Steel -> Ice
Movepool Additions: Flash Cannon, Shell Smash, Rock Polish, Icicle Crash
New Abilities: Sturdy, Solid Rock, Battle Armor -> Refrigerate
Justification: All three of the new pre-mega abilities are references to its Pokedex entries, Flash Cannon allows special sets to have a reliable secondary STAB, Shell Smash and Rock Polish allow Glalie to set up, and Icicle Crash allows physical sets to have a reliable STAB move.
Niche in OU: Essentially what Glalie does now, but much better.
Example Sets

Name: Steelix
New Stats: 83/105/200/55/80/62 -> 83/145/230/55/110/62
New Typing: Steel/Ground -> Steel/Dragon
Movepool Additions: Outrage, Dragon Rush, Coil, Recover
New Abilities: Sturdy, Strong Jaw, Sheer Force -> Solid Rock
Justification: Coil, Dragon Rush, and a Dragon-typing were added because they were appropriate for a Pokemon with Steelix's body shape, Outrage allows non-Coil sets to have a reliable Dragon STAB. Solid Rock is a reference to its Pokedex entry.
Niche in OU: A Magnezone-proof defensive Steel-type
Example Sets

Name: Audino
New Stats: 148/70/98/90/99/85 -> 148/70/138/110/139/85
New Typing: Normal/Fairy -> Normal/Fairy
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Baton Pass
New Abilities: Natural Cure, Regenerator, Symbiosis -> Natural Cure
Justification: Moonblast is more powerful than Dazzling Gleam, Natural Cure is a much better version of Healer, and Baton Pass allows Audino to take advantage of Natural Cure and Regenerator.
Niche in OU: A bulky pivot with Natural Cure
Example Sets

Discuss these fantastic additions to the Movin on Up meta and try to:

a) Think up of Pokemon that these winners check and counter

b) Think of Pokemon that check and counter them (Keeping buffed mons in mind)

c) Think of viable niches these Pokemon hold in this ever changing metagame.

d) Are these Pokemon completely outclassed by their Megas and vice versa? If so, how come, if not, what makes them different?

Nerf MegaSteelix now lol. It's insanely good in too many occasions. Let me explain.
a) Think up of Pokemon that these winners check and counter
MegaSteelix counters the entirety of the S-Rank mons in OU after a single Coil, as well as most new threats of this metagame. First off, it's behind quite a few Megas in terms of highest BST, but oh boy, does it make up for that. It has the third best type combination in the game, the second best defense stat in the game, and a very good defensive ability as well. It also has the most minmaxed stats out of any Mega, with a very low Speed that benefits STAB Gyro Ball, and Special Attack almost as low as Diancie's HP (except Sp Atk is useless, and HP is not).
Anyway, the best thing about MegaSteelix is the girthness of it's movepool. It has everything it needs. Two great set-up moves, a reliable recovery move, two strong STAB moves, utility STAB moves, Toxic, and the best Dark, Rock and Ground coverage there are. Glare would make it even better, but it would suffer from 4 move syndrome anyway.

Here are some calcs against the S-Rank threats I was talking about.
This set is based around Coil's accuracy boost being abused with Dragon Tail and Iron Tail, both of which have low accuracy. A 4th move could be extra coverage like Stone Edge or Earthquake, but Recovery helps Steelix last a lot longer.

Of course, there are less offensive set up sets. Curse/Gyro Ball/Recover/Toxic is a more cookiecutter version of MegaSteelix. It hits faster Pokemon a lot harder, possibly OHKO'ing some of them without Stealth Rocks. Toxic is also a good way of stacking up good amounts of damage, similar to Stealth Rock Dragon Tail.

b) Think of Pokemon that check and counter them (Keeping buffed mons in mind)
Not many things can safely put MegaSteelix down. Bulky Mold Breaker Banded Golurk has to immediately attack Steelix, because Steelix can OHKO back and tank physical moves well after a Coil is up. Max Special Attack Life Orb Sunflora has a 12.5% chance of OHKO'ing it in sun, but if it doesn't, well, Steelix forces a switch and does at least 60% damage to it, possibly killing it after two Stealth Rock switch-ins.

Both set-up sets are weak against Taunt (Steelix is weak against Taunt in general), but the Coil set has less to worry about. With one Dragon Tail up, it can keep forcing switches and doing crazy amounts of damage, it just can't heal back.
The Curse set can't force switches or hit slower mons as hard as the Coil set, so it's not good against other set up mons like Calm Mind MegaSlowbro, MegaSableye or Clefable.

c) Think of viable niches these Pokemon hold in this ever changing metagame.
Set up sweeper, shuffler, physical pivot, tank and wall. So... a lot.

d) Are these Pokemon completely outclassed by their Megas and vice versa? If so, how come, if not, what makes them different?
Steelix is completely outclassed. Worse typing, worse abilities, no Dragon Tail STAB.

I do think that Mega Steelix is kinda too good (Its dat recovery man) but I do believe some of Movin On Up and vanilla OU can take it on. I used a defensive set because while coil sets sound nice, A walling set will be most common.

252+ Atk Choice Band Tough Claws Beartic Superpower vs. 252 HP / 56+ Def Solid Rock Mega Steelix: 288-339 (77.8 - 91.6%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after 1 layer of Spikes

Thats probably the strongest physical hit in Movin on Up. And it still cant ohko.

The combo of Solid Rock + Recover is probably what makes it so bulky and be changed to

InvisibleWater
Name: Steelix
New Stats: 83/105/200/65/80/57 -> 83/145/230/65/110/57
New Typing: Steel/Ground -> Steel/Dragon
Movepool Additions: Outrage, Dragon Rush, Coil, Glare
New Abilities: Sturdy, Strong Jaw, Sheer Force -> Iron Barbs

Yh I think thats balanced.

That's a lot better, although parashuffling will be a problem. Well, we'll end up with a buffed Dedenne immune to Glare and Dragon Tail, as well as a Stunfisk immune to Glare that can hit Steelix hard.
Removing recovery is great though lol. We already have Camerupt, Golurk, Beartic and Regigigas, which hit it super effectively, and we'll get more offensive threats. It's balanced.

SLATE 8: Typing Wishlist

All of these Pokemon have one thing in common, they all need a fresh new typing!! Now as you noticed, there typing is already set in stone, so to make your submision stand out, watch the moves, abilities and stats you give them.

Name: Yanmega
New Stats: 95/85/95/125/85/105
New Typing: Bug/Dragon
Movepool Additions: Dragon Pulse, Quiver Dance, Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw
New Abilities: unchanged
Notes: Yanmega's ability selection is perfect already.

Name: Luxray
New Stats: 100/120/100/100/100/70
New Typing: Electric/Dark
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Swords Dance, Poison Fang
New Abilites: Guts / Intimidate / Strong Jaw
Notes: Obvious Strong Jaw is obvious. Luxray has always been bulkier than it is fast, so I turned it into a tank that can use Slack Off for recovery. Guts is only really for weirdos who would rather have a little more power with Wild Charge than a freed item slot and powerful Ice coverage, but if you want it...

neither Mespirit nor Muk's type choices make sense to me so I'll sit out there

yanmega.gif

Name: Yanmega
New Stats: 100/86/82/130/72/120
New Typing: Bug/Dragon
Movepool Additions: +Draco Meteor +Dragon Pulse +Baton Pass +Hurricane
New Abilities: Tinted Lens / Speed Boost / Compound Eyes
Justification: Its a DRAGONFLY. Bum-Dum-Pssh! Yeah so two dragon type moves plus Baton Pass which it should of gotten. Hurricane is due to its Pokedex stating that it blows trees away during takeoff.
Niche In OU: Specs Tinted Lens Draco Meteor means one thing.... everything not named Fairies or Chansey is dead. If you wanna toss up Tinted Lens for Speed Boost tou got that too, plus Baton Pass turns into a great offensive pivot for offensive teams and for partners needing speed. It even has a niche option in Compound Eyes Hypnosis and Hurricane to surprise opponents.

luxray.gif

Name: Luxray
New Stats: 90/130/80/110/80/100
New Typing: Electric/Dark
Movepool Additions: +Sucker Punch +Pursuit +Dark Pulse +Parting Shot
New Abilities: Strong Jaw / Intimidate / Moxie
Justification: Strong Jaw makes sense because Luxray learns alot of biting moves. Sucker Punch and Pursuit are due to Luxray being a sneaky Lynx and are excellent dark type attacks. Dark Pulse is obligatory STAB and Parting Shot also ties to its Lynx lore (Lynx are sneaky and make high pitched noises)
Niche In OU: With Strong Priority, the ability to trap with Pursuit and the amazing move in Parting Shot, Luxray sets itself apart from other offensive dark types in MoU. Intimidate + Parting Shot means hell for offensive teams reliant on Physical attackers. (Watch out for Defiant and Competitive users though) Strong Jaw means seriously powerful Crunchs and actual Electric STAB!

mesprit.gif

Name: Mesprit
New Stats: 80/100/105/110/105/90
New Typing: Psychic/Fairy
Movepool Additions: +Moonblast +Wish +Taunt +Fire Blast
New Abilities: Levitate / Prankster / Magic Guard
Justification: Fairies are magical and love trickery. Magic Guard and Prankster in a nutshell. Moonblast is STAB Wish for semireliable recovery and Fire Blast and Taunt because Azelf gets it.
Niche In OU: Mesprit is now a great supporter for offensive teams, providing Wish and Healing Wish support, Speed control, a reliable check to the myriad of Dragons in the tier and a hazad setter all in one.

muk.gif

Name: Muk
New Stats: 125/125/85/75/120/60
New Typing: Poison/Dark
Movepool Additions: +Knock Off +Earthquake +Sucker Punch +Recover
New Abilities: Sticky Hold / Regenerator / Poison Touch
Justification: Regenerator and Recover makes perfect sense due its sludge being constantly regenerating. All of its other moves are just logical additions for a fully evolved Dark type.
Niche In OU: Muk turns into a powerful special tank with great utility between STAB Knock Off and Regenerator. With an Assault Vest its special bulk is just absurd, allowing it to tank incredibly powerful special attacks. Its no slouch offensivrly either, as it hits hard with 125 Attack. Sticky Hold is also handy for switching in on Knock Off with no fears, and having Recover means it wont miss Regenerator.

And Pika Xreme Mesprit are based on sprites FAIRY like creatures. And nothing seems darker than living sh*t.
