[Overview]
  • Faces lots of competition from other Psychics in the tier like Cress and such
  • Telepathy is what sets it apart though
  • Also Imprison and After You are cool too
  • While it is mostly outclassed by Cress it's still bulky and has cool support so that's nice
  • It's also super slow which is unfortunate
  • All of these things make it a very useful Trick Rom setter for some teams
  • Really tho if you're not takin advantage of its strong points please use Cress

[Set Comments]
  • Psyshock = STAB
  • Trick Room is cool to support slowmons and have an answer to opposing Trick Room
  • Helping Hand is great to net KOs and boost power in a pinch
  • Imprison is also a cool option to shut down other support moves and Protect
  • Protect = Protect
  • After You can be cool to let fast mons or just nonslow mons move first even when Trick Room is active, making it even more versatile
[Additional Comments]
  • Mental Herb is nice to block Taunt
  • Sitrus is also cool for extra survivability
  • Light Screen to ease matchups against Rain and such
  • Gravity to help out EQ users (with Telepathy Musharna still isnt affected)
  • Imprison to screw oposing Trick Room
  • Telepathy is best ability to dodge Earthquakes and Surfs from partner (also Explosion and Discharge too)
  • EV spread lets you outspeed min speed Amoonguss (w/ speed reducing nature & 0 Speed IVs), 2HKO w/ Psyshock (using Pwnemon's spread from his skeleton) w/ rest put into Special Defense
  • Hariyama and Scrafty make great teammates since they enjoy TR support, can use Fake Out to ensure you set it up, and can take out TTar.
  • Rhyperior is also an excellent teammate since not only does it enjoy Trick Room and Helping Hand, (and imprison lockin out protect if you use that combo) Musharna is immune to its Earthquake
  • Amoonguss is nice since Rage Powder can let you set up Trick Room easier and it enjoys Trick Room support
  • In general anything that appreciates TR can be a nice partner
  • Pairs well with Surf users like Manaphy on Rain teams since they like not havin to worry about hittin it with Surf, while they can take out TTar for Musharna. Also pairs well w/ Earthquake users for similar reasons

  • Can't touch Steel-types such as Metagross, Jirachi, Bronzong, Ferrothorn
  • Chandelure can hit it hard w/ STAB Shadow Ball and can use Imprison to prevent Musharna from using Trick Room
  • Taunt users such as Thundurus and Tornadus shut Musharna down if it lacks Mental Herb
  • Amoonguss and Breloom outspeed and Spore but neither enjoy taking a hit obviously

Add Pain Split, Skill Swap, Psychic, Swagger, Psych Up (maybe idk about psych up but it was darkrai worthy) to OO. Add Light Screen to main set.
 
No mentions of After You!? :pirate: This move is great for non-dedicated semi TR teams, since Musharna can let faster Pokemon to move first under Trick Room. From fast Pokemon like Kingdra in rain to moderately fast Pokemon like Heatran or Breloom benefits from After You. This move is a really nice check against opposing TR, and it also allows Musharna to pair well with more Pokemon.

Whoops, mb there. Switched around set slashes (after you is slashed, light screen in ac) but if any qcers think i should switch it around feel free to say so
 
Overview - you distinguished a lot of characteristics that sets it apart from Cresselia, but you forgot to mention its main role, which is setting up Trick Room

Set - move 4: remove Imprison and move After You before Protect

specify that this Amoonguss also has 0 Spe IVs

I wouldn't say this, because Cresselia is the preferred TR setter, so Musharna should be paired with TR sweepers that can appreciate Musharna's unique support in Imprision and Telepathy

- add Tanga Berry to survive strong Bug-type moves from opposing Scizor / Escavalier
- move Gravity to AC - this is actually quite a niche, because you can pair Gravity Musharna with an EQ user, and Musharna wont be affected by EQ despite Gravity (eat that Cresselia)
- Baton Pass + Imprison doesn't work, because Imprison only works if the user is on the field.
- remove offensive set and CM
