The Dragon we all know and love, and well to be entirely honest at times, hate and cuss out, has been not dying to attacks you think should KO it for has it really been almost 8 years now? Time flies unlike Zygarde who sits on its fat ass for days unlike its sprite would imply. Zygarde is most commonly seen running its coil set and having you confirm on Bulbapedia that paralysis indeed does have a 25% to proc as it freely boosts. This cycle we will be building with some lesser used, but nonetheless potent sets!

Z Zygarde was a common set back in SM that sees little use today. Grounduim Z is listed because it will be allowed as an option for those who want to use it. However, this set primarily utilizes Dragonuim Z as it prevents Zygarde from being revenged by Ditto as Dragon Tail loses its negative priority when used as Devastating Drake. Trapper Zygarde is one that we have all had the misfortune of running into and subsequently losing. Though a potent trapper it can be inconsistent at times. However, should it get that trap off on the right target the game is likely over on the spot. I'm looking forward to seeing how y'all can utilize these uncommon Zygarde sets! The deadline for submissions is 08 April 05.00.

Groundium Z Dragon Dance Zygarde Hyper Offense

:sv/deoxys-speed: :sv/zygarde: :sv/arceus-fairy: :sv/necrozma-dusk-mane: :sv/eternatus: :sv/yveltal:

Deoxys-Speed sets up hazards for the rest of the team while denying opposing hazards to help Yveltal from taking Stealth Rock damage. Zygarde can setup with Substitute and Dragon Dance to sweep paired with its high bulk, with Groundium Z to help nuke pokemon like Primal Groudon, Zacian-C and Support Arceus Formes. Arceus-Fairy helps against Yveltal and Arceus-Dark being able to freely setup on them with its bulk and Taunt. Necrozma-DM helps against stall teams while forming a Dragon-Fairy-Steel core with Zygarde and Arceus-Fairy, with Weakness Policy easily breaking through fat balance teams after a single boost. Eternatus hits Ho-Oh which helps Arceus-Fairy while having good speed control for the team, and absorbing TSpikes for Zygarde. Yveltal offers a form of priority while dealing with Pokemon like Marshadow and Defog users for the team.

The main threat against this team is Play Rough Zacian-C but with Tera Fire Eternatus and keeping NDM healthy it's not impossible to manage.

Dual Trapper Offense

:pmd/zygarde: :pmd/gothitelle: :pmd/arceus-fairy: :pmd/yveltal: :pmd/groudon-primal: :pmd/kyogre-primal:

Who needs Xerneas when we have Arceus-Fairy ? This team focus on the incredible ability of Zygarde and Gothitelle to trap and remove crucial pieces of the metagame like Primal Groudon, Ho-Oh, Necrozma-DM, and Eternatus. Once these core defensive pieces are removed, it leaves the way open for Arceus-Fairy, which can easily clean a weakened team. Choice Scarf Yveltal offers a crucial speed control against key threats, in particular Ultra Necrozma and Zacian-C, which are devastating against this team. Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre finish this team, completing a defensive backbone for this team and offering a safe option against Marshadow, Arceus-Fairy, and Arceus-Ground.

Congratulations to Eledyr for winning with Dual Trapper! He truly is a wolf in wooloo's clothing!

:sv/ho-oh:
Offensive (Ho-Oh) @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Choice Band
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 196 Atk / 52 SpD / 12 Spe
Tera Type: Ground / Fire / Flying
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire / Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird / Earthquake
- Earthquake / Defog
- Whirlwind / Toxic / Thunder Wave
Every now and then somebody reminds you that Ho-Oh has 130 Attack and high powered moves. Sometimes they will be a lunatic that throws on a Choice Band and it actually works fairly well. 2HKOing the most common rocker in the tier certainly makes keeping rocks off easier one would think. The ban of Xerneas has freed Ho-Oh up and I'm excited to see how y'all utilize it! The deadline for submissions is April 15 19.00 GMT

Introducing...
Big Stall™

:pmd/sableye-mega: :pmd/ho-oh: :pmd/arceus-dark: :pmd/dondozo: :pmd/chansey: :pmd/giratina:

5 more minutes mom. This team features classic members of a stall team; Chansey and Dondozo forms an amazing defensive core capable of dealing with the classic offensive entries of the tier. Giratina complete this core, offering Defog support and a sturdy answer to mixed variants of Primal Groudon. Mega Sableye offers a great option to deal with common entry hazards lead like Deoxys-S and Smeargle. Ho-Oh here functions as an active, strong wallbreaker that allow progress against many staples like Arceus-Fairy, Eternatus, and Necrozma-DM. Finally, Arceus-Dark covers specifically Mega Mewtwo formes and Yveltal, two threats that this team can struggle against. I advise anyone using this team to use your Tera cautiously, as strong wallbreakers like Marshadow, Ultra Necrozma, and Mega Mewtwo Y can break your defensive core if not used correctly.
