Why run speed on clauncher, whats he going to outspeed?
If you're running an unorthodox scarfed Clawitzer, which was the topic of discussion before, 208 Timid is probably the best to run, outspeeding Timid Delphox. Clawitzer has a very uncomfortable speed tier to be running a scarf. With max speed, it just misses the important base 115 tier by just a tiny hair, meaning it loses to things like Cincinno and Raikou.

Max Speed (Modest) Clawitzer outspeeds up to uninvested base 90s (though I am pretty sure SubToxic Moltres runs some speed), which allows Gligar to outspeed nearly every common wall up to Gligar, Cresselia, and Golbat (may also run Speed), only missing out on SpD Drapion. This allows Clawitzer to bludgeon nearly every common wall out there before they can move, which is pretty important for a wallbreaker / holepuncher. It's the same reason wallbreaker Emboar runs some Speed.

I think a trade of raikou and jolteon should occur
tornadus should go :I
Shaymin is actually pretty easy to handle, I guess it can stay.
I think delphox needs to go tbqh
Between specs fire blast and psyshock only slowking can really take it, and then there's grass knot. I just think it's way too fast and strong for the tier to handle, atleast in my experience. It's a pretty broken mon :/

i never said anything about it surviving knock off - that would be unrealistic. That is why I am trying to find a way to utilise it by using a single-use item. That is why I thought either Red Card or Eject Button (need to test the latter tbh; prolly not very good, but w/e) and red card was what looked more useful on paper. I said like a psuedo knock off (different wording, but once again w/e) and it could be utilised well if we work out a good way to do so.
How about a bulky Calm Mind set with Weakness Policy?

We have lost Shaymin and Raikou who were among the best special attackers in the tier. Milotic is also gone and Slowking has almost no competition as a Water Type

now that milotic is gone, it looks like it's going to be a fair bit more difficult to find switch in opportunities for roselia

Robert Alfons, yes. These stats were computed using a baseline of 1695. Any higher and you've got issues due to the fact that there are too few players with ratings that high and too many unrated players. There are some improvements I plan on making to the weighting algorithm this month that may improve the "quality," but we'll see if I manage to get around to it.

This is really bad news. Now Tornadus is essentially devoid of any offensive checks that can also switch in. Torn should definitely go up on the ban list next.

Also gdi Milotic why did you have to leave now when I was hyping Defog Shiftry

Oh wow, Milotic an Toxicroak are gone.. those two are like on half of my teams :|

And Raikou's gone too, which blows. I guess we're gonna have to settle with Heliolisk as a fast electric type now, lol.

For the briefest moment I saw Hydreigon and got really excited; it's impressive how close to the cutoff he is despite his tenure on the banlist.

In other news, Dugtrio is less awesome now. Raikou and Toxicroak were two of the best things he could trap and reliably KO.

This is really bad news. Now Tornadus is essentially devoid of any offensive checks that can also switch in. Torn should definitely go up on the ban list next.
I'm not going to hop straight on the bandwagon for this, but it is certainly a valid concern.

I told y'all Shaymin would go.

Welp, there goes two of my favorite team members, Shaymin and Raikou. Looks like Rotom-Mow and Tornadus will fill their places.

One of the reasons to use defog shiftry is because competitive milotic couldn't switch in on it for fear of leaf storm/seed bomb.

ok cool, thanks for answering and gl with finding a better algorithm :]

Gardevoir is so close to getting into RU, lets just hope. Anyways, Shame that we not only lost Raikou but we didn't get Jolteon. Also Milotic leaving sucks. It was a great wall.
Also, I'm surprised Vivillon is so high. Its a great Pokemon but I have only encountered a handful so far.

i'm not surprised to see shaymin go, it was hard for me to make teams *without* him since he was such a useful weapon (the lo/rest/nat cure set, plus seed flare is just fire at will). raikou wasn't nescessarily op but did show up on just about every damn team. milo was also a really common sight but didn't feel out of place in ru. also croak is a good poke that should be used but I never saw too much of him.

and as the meta turns, so go the days of our lives ..

I think this Druddigon set does really well

Druddigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Gunk Shot
- Fire Punch
- Hone Claws

It doesn't have any Dragon moves, but Dragon Claw doesn't get the Sheer Force boost, and doesn't give any additional coverage. Fire Punch is to nail Escavalier. Crunch is to nail Ghost, and Psychic types. Gunk Shot is really Powerful, while hitting Fairy types really hard. Hone Claws is to boost your Attack, while also making Gunk Shot more accurate.

With the new UU list, I lost all of my team, so back to the drawing board for me.
