With a whopping 3 votes, ~Eternally wins again, making him have a total of 4. Congratulations! n_n

This week, I decided to go with a mon that got better with the recent Sceptile ban as well...

Lilligant (F) @ Life Orb / Meadow Plate
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire] / Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Rock]

Submissions end Friday. Good luck!

Vanilluxe @ Life Orb
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Freeze-Dry
- Ice Shard
- Ice Beam
- Explosion

Vanilluxe is actually a really sick partner for Lilligant. Essentially Vanilluxe and Lilligant share many of the same traditional counters (Hariyama and Magmortar), so Vanilluxe can lure these two in and near OHKO both with Explosion, clearing the way for Lilligant to sweep late-game. Conversely, Lilligant can weaken and chip away at these two to open the door for Vanilluxe to clean up late-game. Vanilluxe also obliterates Grass-types such as Vileplume and Roselia which plague non HP Fire variants of Lilligant.
4 Atk Life Orb Vanilluxe Explosion vs. 104 HP / 0 Def Magmortar: 311-367 (98.1 - 115.7%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
4 Atk Life Orb Vanilluxe Explosion vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Hariyama: 337-396 (78.5 - 92.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Charizard
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Acrobatics
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power Grass
- Focus Blast / Earthquake / Roost

This Zard set is pretty cash, and a really good partner with Lilligant. Charizard can break down some of Lilligant's checks and counters, like Hariyama and Ferroseed if no HP Fire (I prefer HP Rock on my Lillis), all with this one luring set. Usually when they see an itemless Zard, they'll assume the bulky SD set, and switch out into their Steelix or something, and then they get bopped by a Fire Blast, and their Hariyama comes in and dies to a Acro. It's a really destructive and really awesome and underrated set if it works correctly, and it forms part of a FWG core with Lilligant that can be completed with a Water-type like Carracosta or Lanturn. Overall, due to beating many of Lilligant's checks and counters, that is why I think mixed Acrobatics Charizard is a good partner for Lilli.

Reserving Carracosta.

Cornerstone (Carracosta) @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Rock Slide
- Knock Off

Defensive Carracosta is a pretty amazing partner to Lilligant as it can take on powerful Fire types such as Magmortar, Charizard, and Pyroar, while also taking on common Flying and Ice types, including Archeops, Scyther, Swellow, and Aurorus. Carracosts also can set up Stealth Rock for Lilligant, making it all the more deadly, letting it rack up even more KO's. In return, Lilligant has no problem setting up on the bulky Water and Ground types that plague the tier.

Magmortar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 104 HP / 252 SpA / 152 Spe
Modest Nature
- Flame Charge
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast

-Some time ago, i didnt think flame charge was that good on magmortar, simply because it doesnt hit lanturn/rhydon with EQ/Hp grass coverage and we all know how often Focus Miss hits, but recently ive been experimenting with this set and its really cool, its another cleaner with lilligant and switches in common stuff that lilli hates like weezing/vileplume. Youll definitely need a lure for lanturns and things that stops it before you manage to sweep.

Grumpig @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SpA / 80 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave

Lilligant greatly appreciates Grumpig's ability to switch into Fire and Ice-types, as well as the stall breaking support it provides. With Focus Blast, and Psyshock, Grumpig is able to take down almost every single one of Lilligant's checks, including; Hariyama, Ferroseed, Vileplume, Roselia, Garbodor, and Muk. This free's Lilligant from being forced to run HP Fire, and instead lets it use HP Rock to knock down things such as Scyther, Charizard, Rotom-S, and Xatu which would otherwise be a pain for this core to deal with.

And with 5 votes, Aurosis takes the win this week! Congratulations n_n

This week I decided to go with a personal favorite of mine that always seems to sweep teams that are unprepared for it, which is quite a lot considering the potential power this mon has as well as its bulkiness...

Malamar @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Submissions end on Friday. Have fun :)

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power Grass
- Roost

Malamar is a mon I've been using heaps lately, and Archeops is honestly such a sick partner for it, aiding it against Offensive teams as well as breaking down a lot of its checks/counters. HP Grass lets Cheops lure in and take down Malamar's #1 enemy in Quagsire, as well as other annoying mons such as Rhydon. Acro obliterates Scyther and Pinsir, while also doing respectable amounts of damage to Mesprit, while Stone Edge does massive damage or just straight out OHKO's Garbodor, Rotom, Rotom-S, Xatu, and SD Zard. In return, Malamar can set up on things such as Ferroseed, Steelix, Regirock, and other bulky foes which Archeops needs help with.

Steelix @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 244 HP / 136 Atk / 128 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Steelix makes for a great partner to Malamar, as it beats Fairy-types that can trouble Malamar, and appreciates Malamar walling a lot of threats to Steelix, like Lanturn and Mantine, and setting up on them, especially since it acts as a status absorber thanks to Rest. Steelix also provides Stealth Rock to help with Malamar's sweep, and together along with something to take care of Fighting types and Fire types, they can make an impressive balance core that can trouble a lot of teams.

Garbodor @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- Spikes
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch

-Another pokemon that pairs with Garbodor really well, Malamar is pokemon that forces switches a lot,and spikes just add more damage to opposing team so together they are really hard to handle, it also covers Malamar bug weakness while Malamar counteres psychics Without signal beam for it.
