Hola psVoltage pretty good Talon set luring bulky chomp and Lando-t, also weaken a bit Rotom-w for MPinsir in the back. First addition to the team is Lando-T, having an offensive core needs at least a pivot in the back, also provide rocks to the team which are usefull to secure some HKO with Feint. After looking the 3 mons I Have I realize I auto-lose to Dark spam so, I really like the Rest-Talk Keldeo check so much, specially on this team; SOlid Heatran check, Weav, Crawdaunt, and Bish. Despite of having priority moves, the team lack of speed control and fairy check so Scarf Rachi accomplish that roll and also give HW support to the team if needed, as most of the time Lando-t will be really pressure. The glue is latios, more damage output than Latias, access to the needed defog having 2 mons 4x weak to rocks and my keldeo switch in. Hope you like the team and enojoy !.

Hey! I really want a team built around M-Absol + Talonflame, but I couldn't find myself to make it successful so I came here. I think these 2 Pokémon make a very good offensive core together as Talonflame covers everything Absol is weak to and deals with the Fighting & Fairy types it dislikes. (Feel free to change any the sets if need be).

Hi this is a pretty nice core. KyuB helps out Pinsir by pressuring bulky grounds like TankChomp and Lando. It checks fast electrics as well and can heavily damage Rotom-W. Pinsir in turn pressures stuff like Ferro and MSciz as well as Clefable.

Good suggested Diggersby core on the site. Pinsir seems to be cool right now as well. U-Turn to U-Turn out on things like M-Zor and Ferro to trap them. Knock Off for potential Shed Skarms and Gengar. Was thinkin Azu would be a good partner for double knock off and doublebun offense but you may change things up a bit though. I don't quite like using Ferrothorn haha, so anything but that is fine. THANKS

Basically put Tyrantrum is one of my favorite pokemon and I paired it up with Serperior because of Serperior's ability to weaken teams with a Leaf Storm. Also Tyrantrum gets a free switch in on Talonflame which is always cool. You can change the sets if needed.

hello can you guy make a team using berloom and mega sicizor

This team was a lot of fun, as Mega Heracross is something I haven't used much before. So initially I had Scarf Tar like you posted, but eventually, I needed something to help with Mega Alakazam and fitting in Stealth Rocks on the earlier versions was really hard, so I decided to go with a defensive one with a Chople Berry. Rapid Spin on Excadrill can help with hazard stack, and keeping SD with the balloon is cool too, so it's up to you if you wanna run it. After that, Nedor really helped out and suggested Slowbro and Thundurus. Slowbro is really nice as it's able to check Mega Lop and opposing fat grounds like Lando-T and Hippowdon. Thundurus helps out with killing bulky waters like Slowbro, and HP Flying + Grass Knot helps Thundurus really help out with rain teams along with grass types like Mega Venusaur, and then lure Hippowdon or KO other water types like Swampert. The last slot took a while, but I eventually went with SpD Skarmory since it was really able to help out with fairies, namely Mega Diancie, and having Excadrill as the only fairy resist was really risky, since mons like Clefable can wear it down real quick. Spikes support was cool too, since it helps wear down fat mons so they'll be in range for Mega Heracross or Excadrill to KO.

The biggest threat on the team would be Mega Sableye, as the only ways to kill it would be setting up with Slowbro, or risking a burn and SD'ing up with Mega Heracross (which I've done before and it's still able to 2HKO at +2 while burned. You can potentially run Sub > SD, but it's up to you. Personally I enjoyed using SD on things like Hippo, Skarmory and Lando-T, but it's up to you. Breloom is another notable threat as you'll have to rely on Thundy or Mega Heracross to KO it. Also, watch out for electric types, as you'll have to rely on T-tar to trap/check them and then Excadrill to revenge kill em. Keldeo gets annoying once Slowbro dies/gets worn down, but otherwise you got Thundy and Excadrill to revenge kill!

Hope you like it :)

Shoutouts to Nedor for helping a ton with the team, and Clone. for helping with the final checks!

Can somebody help me with the core double trapping ?
051.png
462.png

i made a team with Mega manectric + tornadus to help with volt turn, Latios for defog and magic guard clefable to stealth rock, but this team is completely destroyed by sand rush excadrill in case i cant trap tyranitar or him without Dugtrio with focus sash intacted. So i changed clefable to tank landorus, making my team very weak to ice, so i changed latios to defensive starmie but im still not satisfied.

any tips ?

Would like to request a team built around these two:

banette-mega.gif

Banette @ Banettite
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 112 HP / 252 Atk / 148 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Sneak / Sucker Punch
- Gunk Shot / Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Destiny Bond

heatran.gif

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 200 Hp / 56 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm / Lava Plume
- Earth Power / Flash Cannon
- Taunt / Flash Cannon / Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock

Mega Banette is a pretty cool mon who is severely under appreciated and can put in work against unprepared teams. Heatran absorbs Wisps and sets rocks while also acting as a Fairy check meaning Banette doesn't have to run Gunk Shot and can use Knock Off instead. Team can be any archetype, although Offense of some sort is definitely preferred. Feel free to change the sets.

Hey I was wondering if any of the builders could make a team around this core:

130.png

Gyarados @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 72 HP / 188 Atk / 248 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Superpower

This is a core I came up with after watching a replay of this guy using DD ChestoRest Gyarados, which swept his opponents team, and I tried it for myself in a few battles and boy it turned out to be a lot better than I thought. Mega Scizor has excellent synergy with gyarados and can help break down stuff that could wall gyarados. I would prefer the team to be either bulky offense or balance, and I would also like for the gyarados to be left unchanged if possible but scizor set can be changed if necessary. Hope you guys can help me out :toast:

Hi there. I would like if it anyone can rate this core.

Gallade @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Bisharp @ Life Orb

- Sucker Punch

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature

- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Taunt

I'm a big fan of Mega Gallade and Gallade+Bisharp are a tried and tested core. I decided to add Gengar in order to cover Gallade's Fairy weakness. The sets are simply taken from the Smogon dex. I originally thought about Alakazam, but I like Gengar more. Any thoughts?

a cool core i think. krow doesnt like the steels like m sciz cos bp, ferro ect which zard switches into quite easily. krow can beat tank chomp/lando with the icy wind + bb combo which no one expects obviously and uh, ye. idk i just thought the 2 complimented each other well. also zard can switch into elecs that krow doesnt like. idm if u make the zard a more defensive one which seems to be all the rage rn, as some do indeed call it.

Have really been thinking about building around Mega Gyarados, who is so deliciously anti-meta and versatile. In his regular form, he counters MegaLop, MegaMedicham, Jirachi, Keldeo, Mega Metagross w/o Thunderpunch, and boosting Landorus-T w/o Stone Edge, and checks both forms of Charizard. If he megas, he has an easier time against Mega Metagross, Bisharp, Mega Sableye/other Foul Play users, and can be used to secure a KO on Unaware users after boosting. Really bulky on both sides, so it can do things like this:

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Secret Sword vs. 248 HP / 244 Def Mega Gyarados: 312-368 (79.3 - 93.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Mega Lopunny High Jump Kick vs. 248 HP / 244 Def Mega Gyarados: 330-390 (83.9 - 99.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Thundurus Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 16+ SpD Mega Gyarados: 265-315 (67.4 - 80.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Mega Venusaur Giga Drain vs. 248 HP / 16+ SpD Mega Gyarados: 186-218 (47.3 - 55.4%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO
160 Atk Life Orb Hoopa Unbound Drain Punch vs. 248 HP / 244 Def Mega Gyarados: 177-211 (45 - 53.6%) -- 36.3% chance to 2HKO

+1 0 Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 232 HP / 0 Def Mega Venusaur: 159-187 (44.2 - 52%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+6 0 Atk Mold Breaker Mega Gyarados Crunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 330-388 (81.6 - 96%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recover

I imagine this will work well on Balance or Bulky Offense, but could also be cool as tanky stallbreaker and end-game on Offense.

Sup teambuilders. You guys have built me a few very cool teams in the past on the older threads, and I'm back to request another team around a core that I think makes a lot of sense in theory, but I'm having a bit of trouble building around at the moment.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Stealth Rock

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower/Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Roost

I was going through a bit of a teambuilding spree using a few different mons/cores that interested me, and I got to Mamoswine. Mamoswine's obviously a pretty cool pokemon, and I think it has some qualities that are strengths in the current meta. Ice attacks are of course great with all the lando/chomp/torn etc running around. Ground is great typing, and with Thick Fat, Mamo is a great check to a lot of the electric types out there and can slow down volt turn. Zard Y makes a lot of sense as a partner to me, as it easily beats Sciz/Skarm/Ferro/Slowbro that can switch in on Mamo, and it appreciates that Mamo checks the electrics as mentioned before that can force Zard Y out. After that though, I'm having trouble finishing the build. Hopefully someone can/wants to take over. Thanks in advance.

***Edit: As usual, I forgot to request the playstyle I prefer. I'd like something that leans toward the offense/bulky offense end of the spectrum. Thanks again.

Hello -Magic- the core basically destroy every balance team between them, so I looking for supporting both and cover the weakness, First member and a pretty crucial one is Scarf Exca, i needed a spinner + speed control + Electric immunity/resist so Exca was excellent for the spot, also check to extend bird spam, to not auto-lose to fighting types I add Slowbro with T-wave support is just to abuse Paraflinch late game if needed, and to check setup sweepers like Zard x because other way could be a massive problem for the team; Toxic could be good too. Next i needed a sponge but on the special side so Torn-t was my option, also works kinda well with pinsir as can get rid of steel types or severally damage them so Mpinsir have an easier late game, and last my team was horrible weak to MSciz so Speedy tran was the solution, and fit perfectly well as its my Rocker. The team is pretty solid hope you like it and Enjoy !

Gengar's cool, but you didn't realize that Bisharp is part of the core to handle/kill fairies, so Gengar wasn't needed as much. It also made Mega Sableye a bigger threat in terms of walling everything, so I decided to replace it with Specs Keldeo for some real firepower, that can also help 2HKO Clefable if it tries switching in. Focus Blast is really powerful, being able to KO a lot of stuff like Rotom-Wash, or deal massive damage, even enough to be able to 2HKO Slowbro after rocks + a little damage. Raikou was added to help kill bulky waters like Slowbro and Alomomola, and additionally help out with Mega Manectric and Thundurus, who were big pains in the rear end. Lando-T was added to help give a check for sand offense and Mega Lopunny. It also gave gave rocks, so that was cool. I went Swords Dance over U turn to help with killing Clefable, cause Bisharp was the main way to kill it, and it can't switch in, so it's really handy for that. Torn-T was added to give me a Keldeo check, another potential switch in to Latios, and also kills fat grounds like Tangrowth that are annoying to KO. Heat Wave is to lure and hit steels like Mega Scizor, and Grass Knot helps lure and 2HKO Hippowdon and other water types like Mega Swampert on rain.

Now, here's some stuff you wanna watch out for. Kyurem-Black can pretty much KO anything when it comes it, but you got Gallade and Keldeo to revenge kill it, as well as Torn-T and Bisharp potentially. Heatran is a nuisance since you'll mainly be switching in Keldeo, and if you wanna avoid it getting worn down, you can go with the Rest + Sleep Talk + LO set. It acts similar to specs in being able to deal more damage, but allows you to heal up, so that's cool. Mega Diancie after a Rock Polish can easily sweep this team, and the only way to probably patch up that weakness would be replacing Bisharp with a steel type like Jirachi or Scizor or something, but otherwise, you'll be fine

Hope you like it :)

Shoutouts to bludz for the SD on Lando-T suggestion and sweeping me with Mega Diancie

I'm just getting into competitive battling after playing Pokemon since 98, so thank you for bearing with me.

Anyway I'd like to build a team around Rampardos. CB Rampardos is an absolute monster and head smash destroys everything that doesn't resist it. The only problem is he's pretty slow, so I was thinking about building a sticky web team/a very fast team around him to support him. I thought an interesting core with Rampardos could be Extreme Speed Entei and Mega Sceptile, since Entei can clean up what Rampardos doesn't finish off with head smash and M-Sceptile can cover their ground/water/fighting weaknesses pretty thoroughly and is also very fast. Feel free to change this core/Pokemon as much as you like.

Let me know what you guys think, and thanks a lot for reading.

Finished updating the archive using my new powers granted by the gods above.

Also, we, the builders of the team building shop, would strongly recommend that the cores/mons submitted by people, are viable for OU. We're ready to work on a lot of things, but if you want someone to take it, make sure it's something manageable that we can build. Think about the core before posting it, cause having to reject like 75% of the cores on the past 3 pages isn't doing anything other than wasting time and space. So yeah, no more shit cores, and have a good rest of the day - TP
