Froakie [Aaron] (Male)
Types:
Water: Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

Abilities::
Torrent (Passive): When this Pokemon's HP is lower than 33%, the Base Attack Power of any water attack is increased by two (2). (eg Water Pulse goes from 6 to 8, Hydro Pump from 12 to 14)
Protean (Toggle) (LOCKED): By default, this Pokemon switches their type before striking with each damaging attack to match the attack they are about to use, and keep that type until another damaging move is used. The energy cost for the attack is calculated based on their type before using the move. When toggled, the Pokemon reverts back to their natural typing. Pokemon that also have Color Change ability may select whether to keep their current type or the damaging attack's type each action.

Azurill [Jumpy] (Female)
Types:
Normal: Normal STAB; +1 BAP on attacks that match dominant arena type after 3 actions. Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.
Fairy: Fairy STAB: -1 EN on non-Fairy typed Nature, Sound, and Scent moves (Stacks with second STAB where applicable). (Nature Power, Natural Gift; Sound Moves; Aromatherapy, Odor Sleuth, Sweet Scent)

Abilities::
Thick Fat (Passive): This Pokemon has a great deal of extra fat or muscle that increases its resistance to extreme heat or extreme cold, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire- and Ice-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.)
Huge Power (Passive): This Pokemon has immense inner strength that grows with its development, raising its Attack and its Base Rank Total by one Rank for each evolution level (first of three stages = 1, first of two stages or second of three stages = 2, fully evolved = 3). If Skill Swapped, the swapped Pokemon's Attack and Base Rank Total is only raised by one Rank.
Sap Sipper (Passive) (LOCKED): This Pokemon lives on a steady diet of plants and has developed defenses to every Grass-type attack. When attacked with a Grass-type move, damage and effects are negated and the Pokemon gains a one (1) stage boost to its Attack and natural Attack stage. Self-targeted attacks do not increase the natural Attack stage.

Budew [Luma] (Female)
Types:
Grass: Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed, Worry Seed, and all "Powder" based attacks (Poisonpowder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore). Unable to have Petal Dance disrupted by oncoming damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Grass attacks requiring an external grass source. Bloom Command*.
Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic status. Absorb Toxic Spikes on switch-in unless Flying-typed or using the ability Levitate. -- Accuracy when using Toxic, Poison Gas, or Poison Powder, hitting even during Dig, Fly, etc. Ignore Fog's accuracy reduction. Store Command**.

*Bloom Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's "Grass," "Powder," and "Seed" status-moves will have fifteen (15) added points to their Base Accuracy (e.g. Grass Whistle goes from 55 Base Acc to 70 Base Acc). Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type. Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None
**Store Command: For the next six (6) actions, this Pokemon's moves will have their poison / toxic effect chance double. Type Exclusive commands can only be used by Pokemon that are naturally that type, and are still available if the Pokemon changes type. Command Type: Type Exclusive | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 5 | Priority: 0 | CT: None

Abilities::
Natural Cure (Passive): This Pokemon's body has the ability to heal itself of status afflictions over time, it goes into effect six (6) actions after being inflicted with a status. In switch battles, this Pokemon heals all status effects when switched out.
Poison Point (Toggle): By default, this Pokemon's spikes/quills/thorns are coated in poison, and there is a 30% chance of poisoning any foe that uses a contact attack on this Pokemon. When toggled, this Pokemon's natural toxins are more potent. As a result, all of this Pokemon's attacks that inflict regular poison will inflict Toxic poison instead (with the same chance of effect). If Poison Point is toggled and Poison Touch is on its default effect, the Pokemon's contact attacks will inflict Toxic Poison.
Leaf Guard (Passive) (LOCKED): In bright sunlight, the Pokemon is surrounded by a faint green glow. The glow protects it from all permanent and temporary status conditions.

Today at the ASB Arena, we have a battle taking place between two new members, Pikachuun and Flame Emblem. The former starts off the battle by sending out Aaron-Froakie, while the latter sends out Skylight-Scatterbug. Scatterbug then begins to shake itself around until its shaking releases a cloud of Spores that the insect sends at its foe, but Froakie senses this and uses its ninja skills to create a hole in the ground, which it jumps into, dodging the spores as the hole vanishes. Shortly after, a second hole appears behind Scatterbug, and Froakie promptly leaps out of said hole and delivers a karate chop that staggers its opponent. After Scatterbug recovers from this strike, it turns to face its attacker, but as soon as it does, Froakie performs an Acrobatic flip over the bug's head, and delivers a swift kick mid-flip that knocks Scatterbug face-first onto the stadium floor before the frog touches the ground. Scatterbug still has some fight left in it, though, and lifts itself up off of the floor before shaking up a cloud of Poisonous spores, which it then disperses across the arena, causing its foe to start coughing as the inhaled toxins start to take their toll; however, Froakie is still healthy enough to battle, and draws water from one of the arena's ponds to create a large wave which crashes into its opponent and washes the bug into one of the stadium walls, where it lies motionless. Froakie then cautiously approaches its foe, who gives no sign of movement; that is, until Froakie is close enough for Scatterbug to stop playing possum, at which point the insect leaps at its foe, catching Froakie off guard, and Bites it in a vulnerable area, causing the frog to recoil back in shock and pain.

Acrobatics -> Surf -> Acrobatics

If Stun Spore is used AND you are faster replace that action with Dig and push actions back, but never do so twice in a row.

This better be a legal sub ._.

Yeah, you're legal, although this is the kind of thing you can ask in the IRC~

Scatterbug whips up a cloud of Spores, but Froakie uses ninjutsu powers to create a hole in the floor, which it jumps into, dodging the spores. A second hole materializes behind Scatterbug momentarily, and the frog leaps out and delivers a kick to its opponent, causing the bug to stumble back. As Scatterbug recovers from this attack, Froakie performs an Acrobatic flip and, just like before, pushes the insect face-first into the ground with a swift kick. Although the battle seems to be repeating itself, Scatterbug decides to change this, and, after lifting itself up once again, shakes up a second cloud of Spores, dispersing these towards Froakie, who inhales some of the spores and tenses up, then falls to the ground, stiffened and immobilized. Scatterbug takes advantage of this to Bite its foe, but Froakie manages to recover from the spores, and summons a wave of water that slams into its attacker, knocking it away.

In that case, Honedge uses Shadow Claw -> Attract -> Shadow Claw.
If Froakie uses Dig, on the first instance use Protect, on the second instance - but only if consecutive - use Swords Dance.

Surf -> Water Pulse -> Surf
If fully para'd, too infatuated to move, or cannot act that turn by any other means, push actions back.

Flame Emblem withdraws Scatterbug and sends out Durandel-Honedge in its place, who materializes a Claw out of Shadowy energy, then slashes at Froakie with it, scoring a direct hit. Froakie withstands the attack, though, and summons a wave of water that slams into Honedge, pushing it away and giving Froakie some breathing room. However, Honedge is unfazed by this, and acts its most alluring in an attempt to infatuated its foe, and, somehow, it works, as Froakie becomes strongly Attracted to the sword-like creature, and simply gazes at it instead of attacking, giving Honedge an opportunity to slash at the frog once again with a Shadowy Claw, but not even this can break Froakie's newfound infatuation, as the latter spends its time staring at the former once again to finish the round.

Ha! You've activated Froakie's special ability by a single hit point: Torrent!
Do the frickin wave (Surf + Surf Combo) -> Cooldown (Frickin Wave) -> Water Pulse

If Honedge uses Protect when you would summon the frickin wave, Chill and push actions back.
If you get haxed into not moving AND Honedge didn't use Protect that action, push actions back.
If you didn't do any damage to Honedge by the end of the turn, flip a table. (This isn't really a sub, but if this seriously happens...)

Such a shame if I were, say, to knock you out before you landed that hit on me.

Sneaky Claw (Shadow Sneak and Shadow Claw combo) -> Cooldown -> Shadow Sneak

IF Froakie is KO'ed, THEN use Swords Dance A3.

Although battered by this attack, Froakie manages to get over its infatuation, and leaps into the air, then...wait a second...is that...a potato?!? Yes! Froakie throws a potato at its foe, which bounces harmlessly off of Honedge, lands on the ground, and dematerializes into a blue energy, which soaks into the ground. Moments later, a massive wall of water rises from the spot upon which the potato had landed and swamps the field, crushing Honedge under the massive force of the attack and washing it far away, where the sword-like creature is slammed into the arena wall. After this, however, both combatants, each at different parts of the stadium by now, take a brief rest, regaining their strength; however, Honedge manages to recover first, and sends out its Shadow to strike Froakie, knocking the frog unconscious.

Switching to Azurill @ Gelatin (Aka Azurill @ Nothing).

If the below aren't legal substitutions, I'll hit myself in confusion.

If Ralts uses Thunder Wave, Trick Room, Misty Terrain, or Confuse Ray, use Encore and push actions back.
If you get haxed into not moving, push actions back EXCEPT if you were to use Encore that action.

Pikachuun sends out Luma-Budew to continue the fight; however, Flame Emblem decides to send in a new Pokemon as well, withdrawing Honedge and sending out Aznor-Ralts. Not to be outdone, Pikachuun withdraws Budew and sends out Jumpy-Azurill, marking the third Pokemon sent out before the round has even started. Anyway, Ralts splits its form into several shadowy Doubles, confusing Azurill enough that the latter passes right through one of said clones instead of hitting its intended target after attempting to Body Slam its foe. Ralts then takes advantage of this by firing a Thunderbolt at its opponent, and enough electricity surges through the mouse...thing...to cause temporary paralysis; this doesn't stop Azurill from lunging at its attacker, though, but it passes through another clone instead. Ralts then deviously creates even more Doubles, and by now poor Azurill is so perplexed that its attempt at Body Slamming its foe hits a clone for the third time, leaving Ralts completely unharmed.

I kinda feel like a bad person.

Thunderbolt -> Chill -> Thunderbolt

IF successful protective/evasive manuever, Chill and push back actions.

Well now that I can't hit it... Wait...

Bubble -> Body Slam -> Return

There are a total of 5 clones. Therefore, at least one move will hit.

If you get parahax'd, push actions back.
