We made it to Round Three and only four contestants were remaining!
I didn't know Ms. Dendra joined the Battle Brawl! That made me super excited!
Ms. Dendra is the battle studies teacher, which means that she is professional at Pokemon battles!
First up we had Guava versus Falinks! That reminded me ... Ms. Dendra is a Fighting-type expert!
My First Impression of Falinks is that it is so strong it almost knocked out Guava in one hit!
Well, I was thinking this was a bad matchup for Guava anyways, so I let him U-turn his way back!
I know Hawthorn does not like fighting Fighting-type Pokemon, but I have faith in him!
Hawthorn used Play Rough on Falinks, but that was unfortunately not enough! That might be bad!
Goodbye, Hawthorn! Sometimes having faith is not a good thing!
The good thing was Falinks got lowered defenses after that!
Falinks finally went down, after heavily damaging Guava and annihilating Hawthron! That was a rough start for us!
If Falinks caused that much trouble, I do not want to know what Hawlucha can do!
Hawlucha used X-Scissor, which thankfully did not do much to Lime!
That was probably the only one time we saw a Hawlucha and did not get immediately destroyed!
We already knew Ms. Dendra has a Medicham by her side from the emotion practice!
Medicham is a fierce attacker, so Lime burned it with Will-O-Wisp!
Please don't kick my lawn mower! It might start to malfunction!
So anyways, Medicham went down with just one Shadow Ball. I guess we really didn't need to burn it.
The red stripes on this Tauros tell us it is up to no good!
Lime's Thunderbolt came close to knocking Tauros out! That was pretty impressive considering it was not super-effective!
Speaking of super-effective, Lime was roasted by a strong Raging Bull!
Luckily for us, Coconut was faster than the raging bull and unleashed an Earth Power to finish Tauros!
As if one Tauros isn't enough, Ms. Dendra sent out another Tauros! Though this one has the friendly blue stripes instead!
I was hoping Guava would outspeed Tauros, but I did not expect Aqua Jet! Guava went down for nothing!
I couldn't find a great time to send in Cloudberry because he is weak to Fighting-type move. So I decided to Terastallize him to get rid of that nasty weakness!
Cloudberry lost his buffed Defense from the snow, but he took less damage from Close Combat!
Tauros got its defenses lowered, which would be useful when we strike back!
Even without his Ice-typing, Cloudberry could still set up Aurora Veil!
We took even less damage from Close Combat thanks to Aurora Veil!
Let's show our Flower Power by using Wood Hammer on that stinky Tauros!
Blue-striped Tauros is Water-type and it stood no chance against that!
Unfortunately, Cloudberry sacrificed himself with that as he took too much recoil damage!
Ms. Dendra sent out her final Pokemon, Hariyama! We only had two Pokemon by our side, this could go anywhere!
We already used up our Terastallization, and Ms. Dendra used hers on Hariyama!
With a giant punching glove on Hariyama's head, I expected this move to do quite a lot!
That barely did half of Coconut's health, which meant he couldn't take another one!
Powerful moves often come with big drawbacks! Hariyama lowered its own defenses and hurt itself in the process!
Coconut could not use Spore without taking a hit first, but luckily it worked out quite well!
Now that Hariyama fell asleep, it was our time to do massive damage!
Honestly if I got lashed by giant tentacles like that, I would definitely wake up instantly.
We finished the sleeping wrestler off with an Earth Power!
That was a close fight, but we won at the end! With only two Pokemon remaining on our side!
That meant I advanced to the fourth round of the Battle Brawl!
No matter children or adults, we all can learn something by battling each other!
