Sorry for not being involved as much as I'd like. Been sort of busy. I'll more or less try to cook up something soon.
 
Gym Trainer proposal.

This gym will have 6 trainers all up so I figured I would get started with the first and let the rest of you guys make trainers. We also need to start work on the leaders Team

I quite like the team and I agree it should be a chick lol. Any ideas for names? Maybe some prominent player we can name her after. Only thing I would do tho to the team is maybe drop Rhyperior for Excvadrill since well sand rush and I can just imagine her triying to overwelm you as quickly a possible. Diancie, Tyrantier and Terrakion are enough rock pokemon unless we really want to get technicle IMO but we should let others take a look at the team first :)
 
For a Gym Trainer, what about a Scientist or Archaeologist with a Super-Computer? . Then, this Trainer will be able to have fossil Pokemon ( and Ttar, a dinosaur) and perhaps to add flavour, a Mega Metagross (Supercomputer research assistant) or Celebi ( Celebi is a time-travelling lord before Dialga, explaining the presence of Dinosaurs). Maybe something like this:

Style the Gym Leader imo. She's a rock star as well so that fits I guess haha.

Yeah CoC that seems alright, Excadrill definitely fits. I originally put Rhyperior there because a Rock-type team without Stealth Rock would be weird lol. Perhaps something like SR Mega Diancie?

For this gym to be a legitimate rock gym, the battle music HAS to be darude sandstorm. We can't miss an opportunity like this guys

Stealth Rock, Life Orb Terrakion seems a good solution. Leave mega diancie as the mega attacker she currently is

Rawr, why did nobody tell me that the next thread was made?

Anyways, I think we should shift away from Gym discussion only, and maybe start conferring about any side events? I've got an idea that I'll post for an npc to trigger a side event or do some explaining on TLS for the next route.
 
Feel free to discuss and propose what you like but i would prefer we finish the gym and the puzzle. That said We can do side events (I'll be doing one) here on the island and a few people spreading hints about the next TLS events would be appreciated but no actual TLS event on this island

The next definate one is on the brief return to route 10 which is Phione genesect lab after we leave this island and then in gym town 6 lol which we have nothing on but will likely going by the actual pokemon games be there main base and 2nd last major battle

On that note tho We may have to actually discuss it The TLS plot via pm so we dont flood the thread with conjecture .

DarkNostalgia you might want to link the Route 10 Summury to the OP along with Phiones Genesect lab (Assassable after Rock gym incase anyone missed it)

NPC Proposal: Gossiper Annie Basically she is just a gossip rumour monger who hangs around the north of town waiting to spread gossip and if you beat the Gym Hand you a shiny stone. Used to evolve Togetic and Roselia.

Quotes: Have you heard the tales.....''NPC looks around to make sure nobody is watching'' About a lab built into some mysterious ruins...Which ruins I cant tell you they made me promise I would say nothing more.....No what I say is true People in the ruins told me to be quiet

If you beat the Gym: Maybe you have what it takes to drive those who cant be named out of the ruins. Here a friend of mine From dogars city who digs this crap up gave it to me (Basically a reminder to go visit shiny lady lol)

Looks good, but Rotom-C should probably be replaced with a more viable pokemon and remove Stealth Rock on either Ferro or Tyrantrum. I'd personally suggest running Spikes Ferro.
 
Ok time to try to write an entire gym area post on mobile while super tired, this will not end well.

So as you enter the gym the first thing you notice is the unrelenting sandstorm has stopped, except for a few Tyranitar with miniature sandstorms. The second thing you notice is the system of gigantic sandstone cliffs that form a harsh and dry maze that cannot be traversed on foot in many parts. This means you have to ride a rental Rhyhorn to move around, and some of the trainers will ride their own Pokémon. Once you conquer the bottom part of the maze, you have to go up a sandy ramp, leaving the Rhyhorn, to go up a gradual incline to the tops off the cliffs, facing trainers. Once you reach the top, there is another, smaller maze atop the cliffs, and then yo reachStyle herself.

Tha wa't as bad as expected
 
NPC Proposal: Cut Maniac Hector
In a small house next to the PKMN center you can find a shack with various knives in the front yard (not sketchy at all). Upon entry, a short man instantly approaches you.
Dialogue: "Oh that's the HM Cut! Did you get that from my brother?*player says yes* Hey kid, do you prefer defense or offense?" (If defense is selected Hector will immediately stop talking to you) *player selects yes* "Here's a move that will bust through the toughest obstacles! *Gives the player Swords Dance* "Use it well!"
 
1 Final thing for me to Add to this Island. Say Hello to SnowCristal! s Battledome

SideQuest Proposal: SnowCristal! s Battledome. Basically this is a battledome based OU's favourite maker of unconventional teams. The Somewhat crazy, altaria loving Snowcristal will drag you to her corner of the island after you beat the gym to subject you to her own trial's to see if you really have what it takes beat smogons best since she has doubts about wheather you could actually beat style or not even tho you already did. Being a Tourny player herself she'll hold nothing back and if you beat her trials She'll give you an Item to help you find the legendary pokemon Celebi (Tho Celebis location is up to Phione and Anduril ) In addition you can battle her once per day using 1 of her teams after the trial for 3 heart scales and you can face other gym leaders, Elite 4 and Rival NPCs you've already defeated here at the dome on the odd occasion to tho its random when they appear. The dome itself is just 1 massive glass biodome that shields battlers from the sandstorm.

Apon arrival at the dome - This is the battledome of rocky-storm island and only those who beat style get to come here. Who am I you ask. I'm SnowCristal! one of smogon tours prominent players and I take it apon myself to help new trainers by showing them teams that are unconventional in battle because to become the best sometime's you need to think outside the box. While some call it gimmicky, I prefer innovation because If that means using roserade instead of amonguss for spikes/T-spike or Zygarde cause its bulkier then by all means do so because thats how you win big tournaments. Doesn't mean be silly and run Normal Gallade but as long as the pokemon has a use dont be afraid to try.... ''Points at you again''.Anyway when your ready enter so we can begin the test.

Inside the Dome: After crawling your way through a group of snowcristals fans you'll enter a big open room covered in glass and big enough battle's to take place. It is here your trials begin. - see,see i told you he would come altaria. Trainer face me in 4 Battle's and in 3 of them you must pick teams I have made instead of your own. Only During the Final Battle shall you get to use your team. This is see how you cope outside your comfort zone and show you what unconventional pokemon can do for you. If you beat me in all 4 Battles I will reveal to you my secret. How to find celebi.

The Trails: Teams are selected from Snowcristals own thread located here http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/snowcristals-arsenal.3539807/ (Obviously uploaded into the game). You pick 3 from the list and 3 are randomly allocated to her along with her mega Altaria team which is always present. From there you begin the battle. No 2 trials are the same all teams are automatically set to level 100 for the trial no matter what the level they are in game

Battle Quotes:
1st Battle: Fear, fear my mega Altaria
3rd Battle: How does it feel to battle outside your comfort zone, different hey. I hope you do benefit from this now battle
Defeat: No biggy crazy trainer we'll go again
Final Battle: Now to see what you can really do. Use your own team, can you innovate and beat me. Can you prove you were actually good enough to defeat style
Final Defeat: ....Sigh I guess you are as good Style and everyone else has been saying you beat my trial....

Post Battle: I apoligize for saying you could not beat style. I just dont see it happen very often and your the youngest trainer I've seen since TLS started wondering our land. But I really do hope I've shown you what unconventional pokemon can do. Dont be afraid t experinment. As promised I give you this. This trinket will help you locate celebi. "Hands player celebi trinket". also your welcome back anytime you want to battle sometimes gym leaders stop by here to.

SnowCristal! If you want dialog changes just ask

In about half a day or so well be wrapping up rockystorm island so if you wish to add anything nows the time. Anyway hope you guys like the her
