In this thread I expect this season's managers to sign up. There's 6 slots to fill this time around too.
The season will start at the end of May most likely. If you want to manage, all you have to do is post and explain why you are fit to manage a team. Managers will be selected based on PU experience / smogon experience / PUPL experience / PS as well so convince me, Akir (WHO WILL HOST), and magnemite you have that. Please note that any information other than that: I don't care; it probably isn't relevant.

What you have to do as manager:
  • Send in a roster every week
  • PICK A GOOD TEAM NAME
  • Keep activity high in your team / make subs when required
  • Not play :''(

Hi my name is galbia and my PU experience is being the tier leader and i played in some tournaments as well (not amazingly). i was manager last year and cocapitain in wcop :)

There's 6 slots to fill this year:

ORAS PU

XY PU
BW2 PU

This season won't have any FU / DPP slots.

This won't have a definite timeline but the sooner you post the bigger the chance for you to be considered

I am the PU Tier Leader and PS Roomowner, I have played in SPL and have been cocapitain in WCoP
Managed a team to 3rd place last year bc hax imo

Been in council for a year in a half + mod both PU forum sections, and PS RO. Almost was captain last year, but ended up as player and was a 26k star with a bad record. Also hosted winter seasonal.

I'm in as a manager as well

I've been playing PU since XY, am a lonely Voice in the PU Room but most importantly have a huge desire to become a manager and do this properly.
I've been on Smogon since December '13 under this alt, but have been lurking since good'ol DPP NU days where I was a complete trash noob and now I'd like to think I'm not a complete trash noob (others may argue otherwise)
My PUPL experience was hugely positive last PUPL, I loved every moment in preparation for my games in a tier I had 0 clue in (BW PU) and ended up with a respectable 3-2 record for WDmists Team, I made loads of friends on that adventure and would like the opportunity to make some more this season.
I've also had minimal experience in SPL, an impressive amount of losses in NUPL and am Grand Slam Playoff dude

Overall I'm extremely motivated to be a manager this season :]

Hi. I decided I want to sign up as a manager. Although it would be fun to play, I'm not too good at playing under pressure. And besides I'm really more interested in the cameraderie and having fun, then actually playing. And what better way to do this than being the Manager of a team? I know you all might have your doubts about me, but I'm actually a fairly organized person and okayish at being a leader. I also will have plenty of time to dedicate when PUPL starts as I will be a graduating senior.

About qualifications, I have nothing formal. But I've played PU for 1.5 years, have been a constant presence in chat. I'm an Esteemed Voice* in the PU room, the host of the PUnger Games, and have innovated or popularized a decent amount of pokemon/sets in the PU metagame. Although at first I may have been a more cancerous user, you could definitely say I have matured into a respectable and relevant PU citizen*.

But what I really bring to the table is letting the people have a voice. To prove this to you, I haven't chosen any team name yet, but I have compiled a large list of possible team names which I will have people vote for to choose a winner. I have sorted them into different categories below.

If I'm a manager I'll mainly pick from people who are active in the PU community, rather than mostly well-known players from other tiers. If you give a lot to PU and also are a great player, you deserve a spot. That is all.

also I build a shitton of teams so if ur too lazy to build I got u covered n)_(n
