The reason I am asking is that i use him to Masuda/IV breed and I have now a bunch of level 1 Magikarps/Riolus/Treeckos/Eevees whose parent is that Ditto and as such I don't know if I can trade them there...
None have illegal abilities/egg moves so I don't know if they'll be accepted....

If Josh is in "normal" letters and it's a Japanese ditto it's hacked. Does "Josh" look like this?

Where and how could I find a legit one (pm me or give me the link to the topic i can go for that if you don't want to clog the topic)? It is very useful for breeding and when i got it it was like winning the breeding lottery.

So Pokecheck is under a lot of maintenance recently... I just got this in a trade supposed to be an event Eevee from VGC back in HG SS (and I trust the guy but I like to double check stuff like this) So before I put it on my thread, possibly do an event with it can someone tell me how legal this eevee is

And Kalos bred/caught shinies can be hacked.

And there's not much point in posting 6th gen shinies, only way to spot them is if someone recognizes the OT or if it's something obviously illegal like Pokeball/ability (which you can use the lists in the OP for).
I'm just curious, how can you tell just from that info?
In terms of shininess, it can be detected as a hack if:
1. Has no memory.
2. Has the wrong OT, indicating "force shiny" powersaves codes. For example, my ID is 62290, if someone turned up in a thread with a Pokemon with my OT and a different ID, it would be obvious, esp. if there's more than one. That one's difficult though, as people can obviously have the same name, but if you manage to keep tabs on where your breedable Pokemon go that can be detected.
In terms of illegal Poke Ball and ability, as Mr. Dark Ray said it can be found using the first post. If someone turned up in a trade thread with Moon Ball Mudkips, it would be counted as hacks, as the parents would have had to be hacked or had their Poke ball modified using Powersaves. In terms of abilities, you need to be vigilant in finding the H/A of Pokemon. Any Pokemon that's in an Apricorn Ball and has it's H/A is illegal. There are also special cases where Dream World Pokemon were released in gen 5, but got a new ability, e.g Duskull + Plusle an Minun.

Thanks for the update, how can I check if these are legit and non hacked? Pokecheck is down for maintenance. These guys are on my tournament team so Ill prolly have to replan the whole setup if I cant replace these two
