RMT #1 Please Help

RMT #1

Welcome to my RMT. This was a hyper offensive team that I made that tries to effectively counter and break through both hyper offensive and hyper defense teams. Hope you enjoy.

Help is greatly appreciated. Specifically I would like help countering the threat list.

Red is for changes.

Teambuilding Process:

To start this HO(hyper offense) team I wanted to start off with a Mega Charizard Y because of its monstrous 159 spatk and decent 100 speed. It also gets the ability Drought, which I planed to use in conjunction with other teammates(aka boosted fire moves)

I wanted to have something that could both eat up some of Mega Charizard Y's weaknesses, while also being able to dish out decent damage. For this role, I chose a scarf T-tar, because with sandstorm, T-tar has great defenses while also having a great 134 attack. It also gave me a great weather core.

I needed a way for other pokes to take advantage of the sun, so I added a physical Infernape to get STAB iron sun boosted Fire Punches.

I realized that my team was weak to both SR and water and electric types, so I added a Defog Latios and a Thundurus–T.

I also wanted to have a wall/SR setter on my team so I added a SR Landorus-T.

Team:

charizard-megay.gif
@ Charizardite Y | Blaze
Timid Nature (+spe, -atk) | 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse

Mega Charizard Y is arguably one of the best megas in the OU metagame. With Mega Zard Y's high special attack and STAB+Sun boosted Fire Blasts, it can break through anything that does not resist it bar Blissey/Chansey. This team supports Mega Zard Y very well, with defog support and many things to take care of its weaknesses.

tyranitar.gif
@ Choice Scarf | Sand Stream
Jolly Nature (+spe, -spatk) | 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

Tyranitar works well as a great Scarfer/Pursuit trapper. With 364 speed with a jolly nature and scarf, T-Tar can outspeed many annoying Pokemon such as Thundurus, Latias, and Garchomp. T-tar also works well as a effective revenge killer, and with sand, is a relatively bulky Pokemon.

infernape.gif
@ Life Orb | Iron Fist
Jolly Nature(+spe, -atk) | 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
- Fire Punch
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Thunder Punch

Although Infernape may seem like a inferior Pokemon with its 104 offenses, in conjunction with the sun, is a very strong Pokemon. With a STAB+SUN+IRON FIST boosted Fire Punch, it can hit anything that does not resist it hard, and with 108 speed, will outspeed many annoying threats.

latios.gif
@ Life Orb | Levitate
Hasty Nature(+spe, -def) | 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Earthquake
- Defog

Latios' primary function on this team is to remove hazards to help Charizard and Thundurus. Draco Meteor is a great STAB move which will do massive damage to anything that does not resist it, while Psyshock is for STAB coverage and being able to break through specially defensive walls. Earthquake is also for coverage over threats such as Heatran(which will wall Mega Zard Y) and steel types.

thundurus-therian.gif
@ Life Orb | Volt Absorb
Timid Nature(+spe, -atk) | 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]

With Thundurus's great offensive stats, decent speed, and great move pool, it is a great sweeper. Volt Switch is just for momentum, while Thunderbolt is for STAB with greater attack power and a chance to paralyze. Grass Knot is for coverage over Ground and Rock types that would otherwise harm Thundurus, and Hidden Power Ice is for coverage over Grass and Dragon.
landorus-therian.gif
@ Leftovers | Intimidate
Jolly Nature | 252 Atk / 200 Spd / 52 HP
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Landorus is mainly for setting up stealth rocks to max out the destructiveness of this team. With Intimidate, Landorus can almost guaranteed take any one physical hit and set up stealth rocks. Earthquake is for STAB, Knock Off is to get rid of items that could otherwise later be annoying, and U-turn is for momentum.
