XY OU RMT based on CroCune

suicune.png
Introduction
This team is a team based off of CroCune. I wanted to test CroCune out, so I decided to build an entire team around it. The team has been doing okay, with a rating of around 1400 on an alt. It has a FWG core and a FDS core, and no defogger/rapid spinner (I might wanna change that). I want to improve it, and I think it can be done.

Team Building History

Suicune is obviously part of the team. All teams need a mega, so I decided on Mega Mawile.
467.png

Magnezone was chosen for his ability to get rid of steels. He also has good synergy with Suicune.
490.png

Every team needs a hazards setter. I chose Heatran as mine. He does a good job of setting up rocks and also is a reliable counter to Talonflame.
286.png

Breloom completed my FWG core and gives me reliable priority with Mach Punch.
149.png

Dragonite completed my FDS core and is my chosen physical sweeper. Now onto the team!

In Detail
suicune.png
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Calm Mind
- Scald

Suicune is obviously the star of the show. This is the typical CroCune set, the EV spread maximizing it's bulk. Scald so it can burn common physical attackers like Dragonite and Bisharp. Calm Mind boosts it's special attack and defense very high, and Suicune is also my main check to Greninja. It's also my status absorber.

303.png

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Fang

Next up is Mega Mawile, the mega of the team. The EVs maximize it's bulk and attack, letting it take hits more easily. I'm considering putting 4 EVs in speed to outspeed other Mawile, but I'm not sure. Play Rough hits really hard, Swords Dance helps it set up on dragons locked into Outrage. Sucker Punch gives it priority and helps it finish off weakened threats that don't see it coming. Fire Fang deals with Ferrothorn, and also helps it hit steels which resist it's STAB Play Rough.

467.png

Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Thunder Wave

Magnezone is the steel trapper. He traps steels and gets rid of them with his HP Fire or Thunderbolt. Mainly used for trapping Skarm which is pretty annoying. T-wave helps me cripple threats that are too fast, and Flash Cannon deals with fairies. I'm considering changing out the Air Balloon for a choice scarf, but then I have trouble dealing with AV Excadrill and the like.

Relevant Calcs:
252+ SpA Magnezone Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Skarmory: 434-512 (129.9 - 153.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Magnezone Hidden Power Fire vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Excadrill: 204-242 (56.3 - 66.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Magnezone Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Mega Mawile: 169-199 (55.5 - 65.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

490.png

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Earth Power

This is specially defensive Heatran, with an air balloon to help get up rocks on predicted switches. Lava Plume for the hax burn chance and STAB, Toxic helps me cripple threats that are hard to deal with, and Earth Power deals with other Heatran. Nothing too special about him, just a typical Heatran.

286.png

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Spore
- Drain Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch

Here we have Poison Heal Breloom, designed to be annoying. Spore puts someone to sleep, which gives Dnite the chance to set up, Drain Punch helps me stay alive longer, Bullet Seed is his main STAB, which deals with Azumarill. Mach Punch is reliable priority, which helps me finish off weakened threats. The EV spread is designed to give him some bulk while also maximizing his attack. He is generally my lead, because he can spore people. Mandibuzz is annoying though.

149.png

Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
- ExtremeSpeed
- Outrage

Last, but definitely not least, Dnite, the physical sweeper of the team. DDance Dragonite, with a Lum Berry to compliment Outrage, and helps when Rotom-W tries to WoW him. DDance is obviously for setting up on spored pokes or pokes that can't do alot to Dragonite, like Aegi, although you have to be careful because of King's Shield. Also don't let it set up with SD. Fire Punch hits Ferro pretty hard and Aegi, Extreme Speed deals with Fast n Frail threats like Talonflame. Outrage is there because it's fun to spam and it's satisfactory to click it and watch someone die.

Okay, well that concludes my RMT, thanks for reading, please help me improve it. Also notice I don't have a spinner/defogger, but I don't know who to switch it out for, because it's doing pretty good even without one. Don't suggest anyone to change out for Suicune or Dragonite, because they are my favorite pokes.

Here is an importable for people who want to try it out or play with it.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Calm Mind
- Scald

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Fang

Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Thunder Wave

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Earth Power

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Spore

Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
- ExtremeSpeed
- Outrage

Thanks!

Firstly i'd like to point out that Landorus-I destroys this team when suicune is gone and Breloom looks like the weak point of the team to me, i'd replace it with a Specially Defensive Gliscor as it's still annoying like your breloom but you have something that can defensively check Landorus. Secondly I'd change Fire Punch to Earthquake on your Dragonite as Heatran walls it and Aegislash can reduce your attack with Kings Shield if you Fire Punch it. You say your Heatran is a TalonFlame counter but you have nothing on the Heatran to deal with, I'd replace the Earth Power with Ancient Power so you can actually nail TalonFlame. Also your Mawile doesn't need to run the extra HP, it shouldn't run anymore than 148 HP with the rest put into speed, and i'd make the move set a SubPunch moveset with Play Rough and Sucker Punch as Heatran really troubles Mawile and Focus Punch deals with the steels in OU and you've got Heatran for Scizor.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 SpD / 72 Spe
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Taunt/ Earthquake
- Roost
- Toxic/ Earthquake

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Focus Punch
- Substitute

Hope this helps, and i wouldn't worry too much about no Defog/ Rapid Spin as only Dragonite is weak to rocks so it doesn't cripple your team :)

After playing with this team for a while, I'm gonna echo KaiReptilon's suggestions.
I would recommend changing Fire punch to Earthquake on Dragonite. It helps dealing with Mega-Mawile, Aegislash and Heatran. Also suggest changing Earth Power to Stone Edge or AncientPower would be useful to deal with Talonflame, which is quite hard to deal with if CroCune is KO'd.

You could also change Breloom to Gliscor to check Landorus-I, or change it to the Technician+Focus Sash set to allow Dragonite to setup, and deal with threats like Talonflame.

Amazing team though, nice to see CroCune again!

Having no rapid spinner with Dragonite is very risky as he doesn't function as well when Multiscale is broken. Just food for thought tho
