I have tried DD-Mence is Ubers, and it was very disappointing, it simply doesn´t have the stats to get a DD against most teams, therefore it is worthless most of the time, while Rayquaza can revenge some stuff with ESpeed at least.

Use Wobbuffet. It works wonders.

the team had a Wobbuffet of course, but how does that create occasions to set up if you are playing against offense.
wobbuffet becomes worthless against HO just like Mence.

encore'd grass, ground, or water moves can allow mence to get that DD.

Groudon is Wobby fodder for encoring EQ or support moves. In either case, Salamence/Rayquaza gets a free switch-in. Also, Rayquaza makes a surprisingly good switch-in on Choiced Kyogre locked into Water moves. HO is all about creating opportunities for your sweepers to set up.
