I've posted a version of this team before, and would like to post the newer version now. I've had great success with this partixular team, and would like to get an idea from you guys what you might improve!
Tyrone (Tyranitar) @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Ice Beam
My rocker and sand setter. It scares out Lati's and catches them with pursuit, and gets a second shot at fighting types with Chople berry. One of my most important changes from the original team.
Hot Fire (Amoonguss) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SpD
Calm Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Defensive Amoonguss is again a huge change to the team, as spore allows recovery and a chance at set-up with other mons.
ExcaDrop (Excadrill) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
Life orb Excadrill punches holes in so many mons. Inside of sand, it is a threat to be reckoned with even with resisted hits.
AlakaDayuum (Alakazam) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
My anti-hazard HP ICE lead has many a Landorus/Garchomp kill under its belt. I use this to lock down a late game sweep once most of the opposing team is weakened.
TalonFlamez (Talonflame)
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Acrobatics
- Roost
- Bulk Up
- U-turn
This defensive Talonflame provides a solid ground resist and another way to punch holes in teams to allow for a MegaZam/Excadrill sweep. Can also be used as a last ditch sweeper as long as rocks are off the field.
FlowTom (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Rotom is always a solid lead should Lando/Chomp not be around. Will-o allows me to shut down physical/bulky threats, while volt-switch allows me to maintain momentum on switches after the fact.
