Overview
########
Scrafty is a bulky Fighting-type with Intimidate which makes it even bulkier. Scrafty also has Fake Out, making it easier to inflict damage on foes and gives Scrafty's partner a free turn. However, it is quite slow, which can damage its offensive presence. Scrafty is a decent check to Mega Kangaskhan because it has access to Drain Punch. Scrafty has a somewhat low Attack stat which can make it passive, and it can be ignored somewhat easily after an Intimidate drop. However, it has a 4x weakness to Fairy-types, which are fairly common in VGC 2015, making its viability somewhat difficult.

Fake Out is used for flinching the opponent Scrafty's first turn out. Drain Punch is used for recovery and because it gets boosted by STAB. Drain Punch is also Scrafty's main Fighting-type STAB move, hence its use. Knock Off is Scrafty's main Dark-type STAB move and is used to damage opponents by removing their item. Protect is used to scout for the foe's move and to stay alive one turn versus Sylveon. Ice Punch is used for Landorus-T and Dragons. Taunt is for Amoonguss, Aegislash, and Pokemon that have Trick Room, such as Cresselia.
Set Details

The EV spread given allows Scrafty to live a Choice Specs-boosted Hydreigon Draco Meteor, Timid nature Mega Charizard Y Overheat and bulky Modest nature Charizard Overheat, and allows Scrafty to 2HKO 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Kangaskhan. An Adamant nature and maximum Attack can 2HKO 252 HP Kangaskhan; however, it makes Scrafty a bit less bulky but is definitely worth it if Scrafty's teammates can't handle bulky Mega Kangaskhan as well.
Usage Tips
========
Lead with Scrafty unless there is a Bisharp, Milotic, or even Wigglytuff on the opponent's team. Scrafty itself can deal with Bisharp due to its dual weakness to Fighting-type moves and Scrafty's tremendous bulk; however, Scrafty's partner might not want to take Sucker Punches. Fake Out is great when paired with Trick Room or Substitute users. Scrafty's partner needs to take advantage of the free turns that Scrafty is giving it. Use Drain Punch when the opportunity presents itself to keep scrafty healthy. Intimidate and Fake out gives Scrafty a lot of momentum so preserving it and switching it in multiple times per game is good. 52 Speed EVs can be used to outspeed Jolly Garchomp if Tailwind is set up on Scrafty's side of the field, whereas 28 Speed EVs allow Scrafty to outspeed Adamant Bisharp with its Speed lowered by one stage. A Sassy Nature with 0 Speed IVs and Trick Room can allow Scrafty to outspeed a plethora of VGC 2015 in Trick Room. Don't use Assault Vest with Protect or Taunt, as Assault Vest disables the use of non-attacking moves. Leftovers can be used over Sitrus Berry if a Sitrus Berry spot is is already taken on the team.
Team Options
========
Pokemon with Substitute such as Mega Metagross, Heatran, and Aegislash appreciate having Scrafty as a teammate because of the momentum it gains with Fake Out and Intimidate, as do Trick Room users such as Jellicent, Cresselia, and Gothitelle. Pokemon that appreciate Scrafty's Intimidate include Mega Gardevoir, Mega Charizard Y, and Sylveon. Pokemon with type synergy such as Intimidate Mawile and its Mega, Mega Gengar, Rotom-W, Thundurus, and Zapdos work well with Scrafty because of the way they cover each others weaknesses.
Other Options
########
Snarl can be used in place of Knock Off; however, Snarl is a special attacking move that doesn't have as great of an effect as Knock Off, as it only lowers the foe's Special Attack stats; however, it is a spread move. Low Kick allows Scrafty to 2HKO maximum HP Mega Kangaskhan, but the lack of recovery hurts. Crunch can also be used in place of Knock Off, as is deals consistent damage and has a chance to lower the foe's Defense. Stone Edge is also an option to conquer Scrafty's Flying-type weakness. Quick Guard can be used too, as it protects Scrafty and its teammates from priority attacks like Fake Out on the turn used; however, Scrafty is a lot slower than most Fake Out users, meaning that it generally loses. Poison Jab can be used to better handle Scrafty's Fairy-type weakness. High Jump Kick can also be used in place of Drain Punch for better coverage against Mega Kangaskhan; however, High Jump Kick is extremely risky and shouldn't be used repeatedly unless you know that something lacks Protect or if Scrafty's partner has Feint.
Checks & Counters

**Fairy-types**: Sylveon, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Mawile, and Clefable all have Fairy-type moves that OHKO Scrafty. Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir have Pixilate and Hyper Voice, making then immensely threatening. Mega Mawile has Huge Power, making its Play Rough unbelievably strong. Clefable has well rounded bulk and access to Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam, meaning that it can easily KO Scrafty.
**Flying-types**: Mega Salamence, Talonflame, and Togekiss can all take care of Scrafty. Mega Salamence has Aerilate, so its 'new' Flying-type STABs do even more, Talonflame gets priority to its Flying-types with Gale Wings, and Togekiss has Air Slash and Dazzling Gleam, both of which are super effective against Scrafty.
**Burns and Intimidate**: Landorus-T, Salamence, Mawile, and Gyarados have Intimidate which can easily damage the view on Scrafty being good offensively. Sableye, Rotom-W, and Rotom-H have Will-O-Wisp, so they can easily burn Scrafty. Entei has Sacred Fire which has a mediocre burn rate. Suicune can sit in front of Scrafty and use Scald to fish for burns. After Intimidate or burn, Scrafty's damage output is fairly low, so your Pokemon can likely stomach a few hits and focus on its partner if it's not busy knocking off items or taunting.
