Wen-Do | Conkeldurr (F)
Wen-Do is a form of self-defense for women through various martial arts techniques from around the globe. This form aims to empower women to defend themselves from domestic violence, while supporting one another in their daily lives. Mirage (Bronzong) {O}
437.png
Nature: Brave (+1 Atk, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)
Type: Steel / Psychic

  • Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-Type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.

  • Psychic STAB; Can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-Type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.
Abilities: Levitate / Heatproof / Heavy Metal (H)
  • Levitate: (Passive) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-Type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit.

  • Heatproof: (Passive) This Pokemon's mirror-like alloyed skin protects it from Fire-Type attacks, reducing the Type effectiveness of Fire-Typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.) The damage inflicted by burns is also cut in half.

  • Heavy Metal: (Passive) The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its actual weight. Adds two (2) Base Attack Power to all Weight-Based Attacks. Adds Base Attack Power to Gyro Ball equal to half (0.5x) the Pokemon's Weight Class, rounded up.

-1 HP Pyroak

Welcome everybody to sharing is caring, where the battlers are successful members of team rocket and steal other trainer's pokemon for 1 battle before returning them!

ff7hero sends out Birkal's Kecleon. Somehow he managed to steal it away from Birkal without encountering the conkeldurr. Meanwhile, Canis Majoris sends out Pwnemon's Pyroak, because Pwnemon was too busy in the john to notice.

Pyroak begins this lustful affair of theft with a blazing Flare Blitz, dealing a ton of damage to Kecleon. For some reason, Kecleon insisted on knocking off Pyroak's expert belt, despite Kecleon easily being able to avoid super effective attacks from Pyroak.

Pyroak continued wolloping on Kecleon with its signature moveset of switching between Flare Blitz and Wood Hammer. Kecleon, onto Pyroak's plan, disabled the Flare Blitz, forcing Pyroak into using Struggle, enabling Kecleon to toxic the Pyroak.

Kecleon flees from the scene, hoping to avoid a quick death. In its place out comes Tomohawk. Pyroak did the same and switched with Bronzong. Bronzong's attack was lowered from Tomohawk's intimidation tactics.

Tomohawk then showed some swagger, confusing bronzong. Good reason for confusion, as Tomohawk soon felt the pain from an array of psychic attacks while Bronzong's confusion did next to nothing to it.

At best, Tomohawk successfully unleashed a massive heat wave... on the bronzong that is heatproof.

Tomohawk's Intimidate lowers Bronzong's Atk

Round 3 begins with Tomohawk focusing its energy while Bronzong unleashed a violent Psychic assault. Really, that's all Bronzong did. Ultimately knocking out the Tomohawk. Tomohawk did succeed in passing its Focus Energy onto Kecleon and unleashing an Aura Sphere on Bronzong before fainting.

"Ambrose, let us finish this!"
Switch to Pyroak
ff7hero can't counterswitch!
Flare Blitz > Wood Hammer > Flare Blitz
IF your move is disabled THEN replace it with Flamethrower the first time and Energy Ball the second
IF Kecleon is a Rock-type and you are set to use Flare Blitz THEN Wood Hammer and push back
IF Kecleon is a Flying-type and you are set to use Wood Hammer THEN Flare Blitz and push back

This looks like my best option...

Round 4 begins with Kecleon trying to endure against all of Pyroak's attacks. And it is successful, as Pyroak unleashes its favorite sequence of attacks. There are only so many ways one can describe Flare Blitz > Wood Hammer > Flare Blitz before it becomes reduntant, so I won't tax myself with coming up with a new way to do it. One hit and ff7hero will be out of the tourney and forced to return his ill gotten pokemon to their true owners.
