congrats empo...I remember four years ago, when you were just a kid, tearing up the oras ladder, and since then you've established yourself as one of the best around. the undefeated regular sm season is one of the most astonishing things I've ever witnessed in pokemon and it's great to see you rewarded like this for your performances over the last several years. it has been a pleasure to watch you come this far, and you deserve the absolute hell out of this trophy.

well done to soulwind too of course; it says a lot about how incredibly accomplished you are that reaching the finals of an official tournament is business as usual for you - in this regard, you are peerless. no matter what anyone says, this is another in a long list of amazing achievements.

Like BKC said, Empo I remember when you were the follow for follow guy with the Grovyle avatar, looking to make a little splash in the tour scene and now you're a top dog. Congrats on a well deserved win.

SoulWind, amazing and consistent as ever, always sucks to lose in the final and sadly you know it even more than us. My respect for you still increases as you make more deep runs and shows proficiency in every tier and gen. One of the best ever.

I didn't plan to play this smogon tour season but I'm glad I did, winning feels good especially cuz I could redeem myself from my last poor performances in this tour. I'm gonna keep it brief and shoutout the people who helped me during my run:
haxrme Sup kid for building the first 2 teams I used (s/o dons), checking my teams every round and probably being the 2 people I talk to the most on this site. I owe this one to you guys specifically
kahili for building the pheromosa team that I've used in both semifinals and finals games, thank you so much for that, it literally carried me both rounds
